One barber was watching tiktoks while connected to the sound system, the other was smoking a joint right outside the door, and mine was more focused on talking to the others than cutting my hair. Later in the cut, he started to take off the apron and ask me what I thought. I was confused because he hadn't trimmed the top or front of my hair at all. I asked him if he got the top yet and he said "oh sh*t my bad my bad". Later on the other barber began FaceTiming a girl and speaking very vulgar about sexual acts he was going to do with her, mind you his phone was still connected to the sound system. There was a young teenager and his mother in the waiting area and you could tell they were very uncomfortable. Fast forward to the end of my cut and it looks like I got into a fight with a weedwhacker. All jokes aside, the haircut was awful, like a joke awful. How this place has any decent reviews is beyond me (maybe it's only gone downhill recently?). Genuinely the worst establishment I have ever been to, it felt like I was on a prank show or something.

Arrived at the shop at 2:45. He wasn't in. The open sign was on. No note on the door. Scrolled my phone for 45 minutes in the shade in 92 degree heat under the awning. Finally, I left at 3:30. Had I known, I would have spent the 45 minutes waiting and just driven to San Anselmo and gotten a cut. So, stuff happens. That's why I'm not going to ding him but he wasn't friendly and wasted my time. I moved here two years ago and my search for a local barber goes on. Obviously, I can't comment on the quality of his work. The whole vibe just seemed suspicious.
