They are the worst at curbside and pick up in all of Waxahahcie. I talked to a regional manager one time thinking it might change things but it hasn't. They got the order wrong again and it was cold. Approximately half the time we have ordered, they get it wrong or it is cold. This time it was both. From order to take out one hour. They just do not pay attention to what is ordered. I have given them at least 5 more chances and they still cant get it right. I am DONE. read more

To preface this review, I worked at a Cotton Patch for a little under two years and I understand that covid has caused less servers due to social distancing. I'm not one to leave bad reviews for restaurants, because I've been there. Not sure if a friend and I came on a bad night, it was a Friday around 7:30, but I don't know if I'll ever come back to this location. It was busy, but wasn't any busier than any other restaurant in the area. Ordered our appetizers, it took about 20-30 minutes to get it, that we were at the point that we thought maybe she forgot to put the order in. We finally received them maybe 10-15 minutes before we received our meal and our mozzarella sticks were cold ( we received ranch, but I had to ask for marinara; not sure if it's changed but I had to ask if they wanted one or the other or both) and they had to go back to bring our side salads ( wasn't asked if we wanted them before our meal). I had to ask for silverware and I had placed a to-go order for my boyfriend and it wasn't until I came home that I realized that I received a chicken fried chicken even though I ordered a chicken fried steak. That's not a big deal, because he likes both but it was more the principle that even that wasn't right. Overall, we were probably at this location for about 2 hours, because everything took so long. And we were in no rush, but it was still a little frustrating. I cannot remember our servers name but to add to that, she acted a little annoyed anytime we asked for anything. They ran out of batter to make fried pickles, the garlic shrimp dish lacked flavor all around from the shrimp to the vegetables and the fried fish was basically tasteless. Unfortunately, today this place was a disappointment. Usually they are on point with their food however, when I went to pick up my order curbside, the guy told me that my order wasn't found and I had a receipt to prove that my order had been placed. Then after looking for my online order they find it and I was told it would take 10 minutes to complete it, which it took more than that. I asked him if ALL my order was in the bag, he then replies yes, well, I should've known better and should've checked it. When I got home, I found out that I was missing orders of fries that came with my meals and the chicken fried steak was EXTREMELY tough to eat. I had to throw it away!!! Very disappointed!!! The customer service at this location is terrible. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. Several waitresses running around but no clear direction. Our waitress finally refilled our drinks but was touching the tip of her nose with gloves on. I asked to speak with a manager who didn't appear to care about the long wait time or lack of service. Our salads came out and were of poor quality. The Cesar salads had no grated cheese and no croutons just lettuce. When I asked the manager about this he acted indifferent--he didn't apologize or offer a substitute. His reaction is unacceptable and unprofessional. There are much better customer service oriented locations of this restaurant elsewhere--this location I would not recommend. read more

They sort of rip you off on serving size they give you a spoonful of mashed potatoes and a spoonful of rice casserole. Also the bathrooms stunk so bad that when we walked into the restaurant we could smell the stench from the door way. read more

I have noticed that the server age is at a minimum during the summer and service takes a hit on the customer due to the kids yacking with each other in a group or they are on their phone??? So last night at dinner we had a young waiter who was on his game so I thought all would be ok till the salmon plate my wife ordered showed up, the fish was white and my wife said it tasted like tilapia, so I told our waiter and he said looked like salmon? Asked if I would like to talk to the mgr, so this young girl came over and I explained the issue and she said looked like salmon? I just said thanks and we finished up and left... my next issue with this place (and many others) is the amount of flies inside, it is horrible, I just don't understand these places, they make exhaust fans just for this purpose yet I cannot remember when I saw one last?? This is THE WORST Cotton Patch. .. ever. The last couple times I orderes To-go here they were late with the order and or forgot something with no remorse. The last time they were an hour late and forgot pieces of my order. I was too tired to come back so I asked for a manager but was unsuccessful reaching one. They told me one would call me back, but that never happened. I decided to give them another chance tonight, but this time was no different from the others. The order is now 30 minutes late. I showed up on time and was told twice to wait with no estimated ETA, just" We're still working on it and we're short staffed. " Then, the person who I spoke with going up on me after she unapologetically explained her personnel issues. I had to come in to avoid calling again, which was totally inconvenient considering I opted for curbside to avoid a large crowd during this pandemic. Stopped here for lunch with my boyfriend and his family. The chicken fried steak was recommended, so of course, that is what I ordered. We were given rolls and butter to start while we waited along with waters. I chose mashed potatoes & macaroni and cheese for my sides. Good portions; not too big & not too small. Just right. Love Cotton Patch and on this visit ordered hamburger and sweet potato fries. The fries were burned. The waitress asked how everything tasted and I told her my fries were burned. She didn't bring the food to the table another waitress did. Our waitress apologized and brought another order that weren't burnt. Why didn't the one who brought the food to the table see that they were burnt and bring some that weren't. We have cut back on going there like we used to. Must be management change. Because we are retired and able to dine early, between 5:00-5:30 p.m., we are usually seated and served promptly.
