Or 2 couples. The loft features a king bed and its own bathroom complete with a shower. The main level features a nice simple kitchen with full size refrigerator, dishwasher and 2 burner electric cook top. The living space is comfy with an oversized couch two comfortable chairs and a perfectly sized dining noon table with room for four. There is also a queen size bed and a full bathroom also with shower. The views are spectacular over looking the Saratoga passage while off in the distance lurk the Cascade mountains. We were so lucky to have experienced both moon and sun rises each day during our stay!! The frolicking seals, numerous water foul and two crotchety herons welcomed us with all their natural glory!! The check in process was easy and couldn't have been more convenient!! We arrived late and entered our room with our issue. We were greeted with some delicious treats, cookies, gummies, trail mix and pop corners!! Such a lovely welcome surprise. There were fresh cut flowers and plenty of warm blankets to enjoy a lovely evening or morning sit in the nicely decorated deck outside. Couple of hot tips for those with an EV. Be sure to have the "Blink" app on your phone as there are 2 charges within walking distance through town. We waited till around 11:00pm when the chargers were vacant. We parked and charged the car as we slept. Grabbing the car around 5:30am when the charge ended. 7.6kw charges. Not fast but in this scenario worked very well for us. $17.00 bucks and the tank was full for another day of island exploration!!

It was the best equipped vacation rental I've ever stayed in. Spices, cooking oils, appliances, coffee and tea, snacks, candy. Has an air fryer, crock pot, blender, microwave, serving dishes, all the pots and pans. EVERYTHING. We made pozole, lasagna, nachos. It is SO COMFORTABLE. I run cold, my friends hot. The rooms have electric heaters so I was comfortable at night. I would absolutely stay here again if I was back in the area. It's not a little kid friendly place with some don't touch things, but older kids would be fine. 100% love this place. Sad we have to leave!

Ashlyn is not only an amazing host, but also a fantastic chef and lovely interior designer. Inside the main house are two rooms for adults to rent, and there's another house/mother-in-law nextdoor that is for families, but it's not a bed and breakfast. Our room was the photography room, which had her old photography equipment and books. There was also an attached full bathroom. She even had cookies on the nightstand. I can't quite recall the other room, but I feel like it was somewhat floral/antique?? with a large tub in the room. We visited a couple years ago, mind you, so I might be wrong. We wandered the gorgeous property, saw the chickens and other animals, hung out on the porch swing, and the best of all was meeting her dog! It was a gorrrrgeous golden retriever that had the reddest fur that I've ever seen on a dog. Ashlyn was great to talk to, and we'd love to stay there again. Oh, and the breakfast was amazing!

The grounds are beautiful, the magnolia room we stayed in has a huge walk in closet, big bathtub, private balcony, and we were greeted with port and fresh baked cookies in our room. We had two amazing breakfasts with fresh eggs from her chickens and fresh fruits and vegetables from her gardens on the property. Ashlyn had great recommendations of things to do and places to eat on the island. We highly recommend this and hope to come back one day! You can take a ten minute walk down to the beach and enjoy fresh berries on the way also.

My husband and I stayed here three nights, and, since I added the third night long after our initial reservation, we had to change rooms. This gave us a peek at two of the three rooms offered. First off, Charlie and Barb are two of the nicest people I've met - so warm and friendly, wanting to make sure you're happy. Their house is up the hill from the downtown area, but still an easy walk unless you have mobility issues. If you're staying in one of the 2 rooms upstairs, be forewarned that, as with many older homes, the stairs are steep and narrow - so lugging up large luggage isn't easy - but isn't terrible either - well, I had the hubby get one bag, and Charlie grabbed the other one. There's coffee or tea out in the mornings early (based on what you've told Charlie you drink), plus more at their wonderful, large, creative, made-with-love breakfasts. Oy-vay! We were spoiled! There was no TV in our first room, so we did what we saw another guest do one night - we used the common area TV for a late night viewing w/ our store-bought nibbles. Although, Barb already had nibbles out for people - yes, I had both hers and mine! Our last night was in the cottage (or carriage house?) down in back. It has cork floors (so neat!), a large modern bathroom, spacious bedroom, and a TV. Oh - and a mini fridge too. Wow. A great room to escape to. Lastly, I loved the little town of Port Townsend. I WILL be back, and I WILL stay w/ Charlie and Barb again - if they'll have me!

Plenty to explore with Langley charm, the beach and woodland hikes to a bit of wine tasting in the area. Our favorite was Spoiled Dog Vineyards. Great grounds and good wines, especially the whites. We will be making this an annual event as it feels like home already. The host and the staff were beyond what we could ever expect, they truly made our visit special with all the extra touches.

We were lucky enough to see seals and several eagles pass by. Kitchen is well equipped and the 2 large main bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Kayaks available however we did not use them. Nice quiet neighborhood with amazing views of Mt. Baker and the Cascades. Great walking along the sandy beach at low tide just steps from the front yard. This is a fantastic destination and perfect for a family or group of friends! We will be going back soon.

After greeting us warmly at the door, Mrs. Bronson sat us down in the parlor for tea and a chat about our plans for the trip. She also listed off a mind-boggling number of options for our two breakfasts; we settled on applecakes with cinnamon and waffles with real cherries jubilee, if you can believe it. The food was delicious, served in formal courses on beautiful china and crystal. The house itself is a literal treasure trove, spilling over with the Bronsons' international collections of books, knickknacks, furniture and sundries. The overall effect is somewhere between a Studio Ghibli film and the set of "Practical Magic". It's very understandable that they can't host small children! For older guests, though, it's difficult to pry yourself out of the building to see the other sights on the island. We enjoyed viewing antique photographs on a Victorian-era stereoscope and listening to a music box with swappable punched-metal discs, and spent a pleasant evening sipping port and playing chess in the upstairs parlor, feeling very posh. Between the delightful host and hostess, the wonderful food, and the completely unique furnishings, our time at the Compass Rose was unforgettable. We'll definitely be staying here again.

We held our rehearsal dinner in the historic farm house built in 1908, took photos in awe inspiring pastures, and shared our vows on a cold winter day in the most charming granary greeted by the most delightful farm animals. Each family prepares a meal and we just have a good time. The Jenne Farm is a fantastic spot to let the woes of city life disappear while you sit on the porch of the 100 year old farm house. Take walks through the farm land and forests visit the beach nearby and mainly just relax. Chat with the farmers who stop buy nearly daily to tend to things they will give you farm fresh eggs even take you on a hay ride. I got to drive the tractor...felt like a kid again! There is no TV or Phone so bring a bunch of friends and just enjoy life!
