First off, I will say the pizza is great, but their service is the worst I have ever seen in my whole life. I have ordered two different times once online and once calling by phone. Neither time was it a good experience. The online order was over an hour late and I was double charged the second time I called, and I didn't get what I ordered at all. One item was missing and the other was the wrong toppings. I had to bring back the delivery to them and get the right order. They had a large staff all behind the counter when I walked in, like a ton of Indians and no chief. No one knows what to do or how to put in a order. They didn't try to make up for it either time by the way! I cannot see how this place can stay in business if you can't ever get a order right. The pizza is extremely good for chain fast food pizza. The workers there try really hard, but they often drop the ball. One time i ordered a pizza and it was supposed to be ready in 45 minutes, i got there 15 minutes later than I was supposed to and they hadn't even started making them. I have learned to just order about an hour and a half before I'm ready to eat, it's worth it just to wait. The garlic cream cheese is amazing, and so is the garlic butter. If I could give this establishment a ZERO I would. The customer service is horrible. I bought 2 Greek salads that come with onions, tomatoes, calamari olives, feta cheese, beets, and peppers. I took my first bite into my salad and almost broken my tooth because the olives where not pitted. Mind you I got extra toppings so there was almost 20+ olives with pits in side. I called cottage Inn and told them my concern thinking they were going to say "no problem we can make you another one" because like I said I only took "1" bit the rest of the salad was intact. Instead Allie did not know how to handle the situation so she transferred me to Jordan who states non of there olives are pitted, even after I told him I have gotten this same salad before and never had olives with pits in them. He then says let me talk to the GM Tina and see how she can accommodate you... a minute later he comes back and says she "Tina" said there's nothing we can do because all our olives have pits. No need for me to go further with the conversation I politely hung up. And realized that a place who doesn't put pride in what they do, or a place that doesn't care about there customers and want there customers happy is one that will not stand long, not is one I want to give my money to. The online ordering system is extremely flawed. I placed my order and was missing items. So I called and told the girl answering the phone. She pulled the order and put me on hold. 8 minutes later she came back and said I wasn't charged for the item. I referenced my receipt I was emailed which shows I was. She said it wasn't the same on their end and that the item I was missing they don't even have. I asked why it was on the menu then. She said they didn't have any control over the online menu and that is was corporate and they have had alot of complaints. I don't know why they wouldn't fix this. How hard could it really be? Great pizza. Too bad we won't be going there anymore. Attempted three times to order online. Each time was told system error and the order wouldn't process. No email confirmation, no phone call (which we usually get), so we ordered from another pizza restaurant. An hour and a half later the pizzas show up from Cottage Inn. I explained the issue to the delivery boys, they said we always have trouble with our website. I paid them $80, and phoned the location when they left. The girl who answered the phone put me on hold, as they were busy ( no big). When she came on the phone I explained to her the situation. She said she would get the manager. On hold again. The girl came back and said her manager said she could give us a discount and that's it. I stated I would like to speak with her, she said she is busy; I still asked to speak to her. On hold again. The manager then came on the phone, with a less than friendly attitude. She said it wasn't her fault. I said it's not mine either, your website failed and told me I couldn't place the order, so I assumed no big and ordered from another place. She said well I'm not going to eat $80, I said neither am I. Needless to say things happen, however the ways in which it was handled were uncalled for , and lacked customer service. Point is, their pizza is very good, but not the only pizza by a long shot. Given how I was treated, we will be taking our business elsewhere. A manager should have the skills to be excellent in the area of customer service. read more
