Had a great experience at Cottage Car Wash! I took advantage of their Early Bird Special which is Mon-Thursdays 8-11 am which is 10 dollars off their super wash. It was better than the coupon I brought. I was able to pay credit when I pulled up and they had a waiting room inside and outside while you car was being cleaned. The car wash establishment had a pretty large waiting room inside. The person who helped me mentioned he was a Scranton grad #GORoyals. I definitely felt that the employees here did a great, thorough cleaning of the inside and outside of my car. I've been to carwashes before that were more/less expensive and did a bad job. I spend a LOT of time in my car. My commute is 35 miles each way and on a day with minimal traffic takes an hour, but that is rare. My drive home when it is really bad has taken over 2 hours . . . It helps that I love what I do . . . . But I digress . . . It takes a toll on the interior of my SUV and even after I remove the debris (similar to cleaning for the cleaning lady), it needs much more. I was raised on LI, but married a Bronx boy who refused to live in the "county" so we ended up in the boonies of Brooklyn (think driveways and no subways) and have never found a car wash in the boroughs that does a reasonable job. Yes, my car is dirty . . . Dude. That is why I am at the car wash . . . And I need something between detailing and a light wipe of a towel across the fabric. I had pretty much given up on the idea. Last week I brought my black 2022 BMW here for its first full detail, considering it was a year since I bought it. I had checked other detailers to get an idea of their recommendations and most of them were on the same page as far as "what was necessary". Then I spoke to Patrick Kelly, here at Cottage and he was straightforward and honest about the "extras" the others suggested the car needed. He knew better, as I suspected he would. I had my exterior done, clay, compound, wax and so on, and when I picked up the car, it really did look like it was the first day I rolled out of the dealership. There have to be at least half a dozen other car washes closer to my house than cottage but the job they do here is 100% worth driving a little further and paying a few bucks extra. Pack some patience because they do take a little longer than other places I've been, but that's only because the back end guys are insanely thorough. Always courteous from start to finish and a dynamite job every time, they will surely have my business for many years to come. Cottage Car Wash, Bethpage Lately I have a theme here. A Car Wash, is a Car Wash, is a ... A little higher priced then the one in Hicksville. I asked for the wash that adds the RainX but the super wash apparently was not it. Once the car is on the conveyor belt, there is no changing what's keyed in. They do give you a punch card, after so many you get a free wash, they did accept credit cards for payment. They did a quick air hose and vacuum moving my stuff out of the way. The antenna cord I have had been taken out, but it took them a while until they found it after I had asked. Seems no one knew where it was. The tires had a quick spray of that shiny stuff, but the inside spoke area appeared only to have had a quick wipe as to the use of a brush at the other place I have gone to. I've been coming here for quite some time and I'm usually happy with the outcome- ( or else I wouldn't be going back) recently had a rush job on my SUV with lots of missed areas on the seats and on the sides near the door panel. I didn't notice until I returned home. Normally I wouldn't really pay it any mind but for $27 plus a tip I was agitated. I called and spoke with the gentlemen at the desk. Power washer guy just had fun with my fender going over numerous times against the truck and took a good amount of paint off my truck. Long story short didn't even ask to get this fixed and was Atleast hoping to get this wash on the house nor cause no trouble but was told not gonna happen. Read the reviews before I went thinking okay this sounds good... so I called beforehand to see how long the wait was (I was about two minutes away... the guy on the phone said "no wait"! I get there and there's a line that went into the street. Since I was there I decided to get my car wash. As I see my car roll out of the wash...I sat there for a good 10 minutes watching other cars getting worked that came after mine. Soon as they started working in my car I watched them. They maybe took 5 minutes and they beep my horn saying they are done. Not once did they pick up the vacuum! I watch them use the air hose to spray the inside of my car. And they were suppose to use that foam "armor all like stuff". Nothing was sprayed on their rags or inside of my car. I walked over and told The guy I watched them and told Him what I saw. I asked them to vacuum my car since I paid for it. As the guy did which he seemed like he didn't care I grabbed the hose and did it myself. I went to look Inside the car and they didn't wipe down anything. When I asked the to wipe it down they didn't use any foam spray as advertise. I told them to forget about it. I went to a gas station and had to vacuum my car and when I got home I had to Clean the inside of my car since they just wiped it down with a dirty rag. Waste of time and money. read more

My family usually wash our cars at home and this was the first time I went for a car wash. I took advantage of the early bird special, although I don't know anything about car maintenance and had no idea what the difference was between the basic set and the super wash. They told me that it would be 15 minutes and I think they actually finished in a little over 10 minutes. They cleaned the outside and the inside and I could tell that they really tried hard to wipe down everything on the inside in spite of all the knickknacks and junk I keep in all the pockets. I didn't really check the job before driving away to work and I noticed that not all of the soap was wiped out. It was a cold day so the soap that was left over in the crevices actually froze. Also, I have no point of comparison, but it did not seem cheap, even after the discount. They became busy all of the sudden after I arrived (went from zero cars to five when I left) so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and try again some time. read more

Went here on recommendation of my boyfriend. He thinks this place is the best of the best. I have to say, my car looks pretty good. I have a nice detailed interior and clean mats all for $32. The outside looks good top of course. Inside this place is actually nice with couches to sit on and relax while you wait for your car; unlike many car washes I have been to in the past. The men who work on your car don't get enough credit- they are very hard workers!!! Be sure to tip them. The only thing I'm a little ticked off about is that my radio clearly wasn't cleaned at all not even the face of it and my glove compartment also. Ive been to cottage for a car wash a number of times and its always a great experience. This week I brought my car in for a full interior exterior detail since my lease was up in a couple days. It was pouring rain on Tuesday and the owner opened up with a small crew just to take care of my detail because I told him I was short on time and the lease was due in 2 days. My car came back looking like it did when I first got it and because of them I wasn't charged any wear & tear / damage fees from the dealership. Another flawless V.I.P wash from the crew over at cottage car wash this morning. I must of stepped on gum last night because when i got in my truck this morning there was smeared melted gum all over my driver side mat. Thought I lost my airpods and they were gone for a month. Brought my ram in for a cleaning and detail. one of the guys found it and just left em in the cup holder. They do good work and are honest. This was the first time I have ever taken my car to a car wash. I preferred to do it myself. Somewhat traumatic watching my baby going through all these big machines and then having someone be rubbing all her curves drying off. I have to say they were very professional and I became somewhat more comfortable when I saw that it was just a job for them and they weren't getting the same pleasure as I do with that shammy cloth. They did a great job and cleaned all the nasty and hard to get to places that I sometimes ignore. My car glowed afterward and I think I saw a small puff of smoke come out of the tailpipe when they were done. The GPS system said she wants to go back next week. We'll see. It was pretty cold out and the gentleman cleaning the car after the wash still took their time and did a decent job. A few spots were missed but once pointed out, were taken care of with a smile. Used to get such great service here, not so much in the past few months. Last time they left a dirty rag on my passenger seat. Ok annoying but not a big deal. Today they left my car running, with the keys in it and the driver door open for 10 minutes completely unattended! Anyone could have hopped in and drove off!
