The employees are very friendly here and there is always a huge selection of items at any Costco you go to. I love to have flowers in my house, and the flower bouquets here are just beautiful. I don't particularly care for the location, but it is nice that it is new. I have been to this store during the week and weekends and every time I'm here I feel that there is enough staff to handle the flow of people. read more

Having a Costco this close to home should be a crime. We end up here on a weekly basis finding new stuff and picking up that huge bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee. D.E.liscious. I'm not here to talk about Costco merchandise. Nor do I want to jabber aimlessly about their services. I want to review something far more important to us all, impacting even the young and the elderly. I want to talk hotdogs. Sure, there's specialty shops like James Coney Island, Der Wienersnitzel, Doggies, even Ballpark. But these are "gourmet" dogs, made so by toasting the bun, adding some foo foo ingredients or sauces, or otherwise masking the flavor produced when cooking waste animal products wrapped in cadaver skin and charging an exorbitant price. But, basics are basics! And Costco culinary masters have bravely packaged the concoction of disgusting ingredients in a 1/4 pound package, complete with a fresh white bun too small to contain the wiener, added a refillable soft drink, and given you the choice of mustard, ketchup, relish, and onions to stimulate, not suppress, the taste of cooked cattle parts. And it's all yours for a buck and a half. For that much stuff and that little price, by golly, Costco gets four stars in my book! Oh, and just so you know, I ate the whole thing without regurgitation and I'm considering grabbing another. read more

Washing Machine Return Nightmare-Costco never sending JB Hunt to pick up the Maytag Washer. There are not enough letters in this space to post every detail about the Costco Experience. Washer delivered by Innovel who dumped it and almost ran out the door so as not to hook it up. Then they refused to start the machine so I could see if it worked. They left and I spent the next 2 days going back and forth with Whirlpool and Costco asking them to cancel everything and pick up this machine which is far from High Efficiency! Machine does not fill up with hot water and on Bulky you get about a gallon of water to clean a set of king size sheets and 2 towels. Its ridiculous. Costco Tech said to try stopping the machine after the cloths were wet and the machine would see it as a heavier load and give me more hot water. Wrong, again! It just starts all over. how can a machine be energy efficient if you can only wash 1 sheet at a time and then you cant even do it with hot water. You have to hit pause and hit the fill button so it adds cold water. Really! I have called Costco, and Costco Concierge, and Whilrpool to come pick this machine up so I can purchase a machine which is not called HE. Costco LIED to me and told me they could not send me a confirmation e-mail stating I called in to have the Washer picked up. Now, however, they did cancel the 2 extended warranties I purchased to cover the new washer & dryer. My last phone call, Today, to JB Hunt and Costco was just as fruitless as the 1st 4 calls I made. Today I was told that no return had been initiated for the washing machine and suggested I call JB Hunt. Called JB Hunt back and this lady did not see where Costco had initiated a return and he could not do anything until I could get Costco to follow through and do the paperwork to forward to them so they could pick it up. NOW FOR THE REAL SLAP IN THE FACE...wait for it... No one can ever give you a confirmation # or reference # showing that you called and ever initiated the return. Costco states that only when JB Hunt picks up the washing machine that they could send me a confirmation e-mail with a reference # showing I was returning the machine. It's been almost a month and my 30 days to return this terrible Maytag Washer, is running out. My husband just had surgery and is in no condition to pick up the washer and carry it to Costco. Once its in your possession, they count on you getting frustrated with their Shell Game and Lies and hope your return period simply runs out. Costco, as Im writing this review I'm sitting on hold AGAIN, waiting for someone to talk to me. I cant tell you how many time Ive called Costco "Return" and waited 71 minutes for someone to answer. I think my next contact will be the Better Business Bureau and my attorney. Costco, as a business owner I have to say your policies, business practices and procedures need to be investigated and corrected so that the American People do not have to be talked to as if we are the liars who never requested a return and pick up. Respectfully, Daryl and Donna Virgilio read more

Costco is a great place to shop if you need things in bulk and know what you normally pay for items. Some items are priced competitively and others are more expensive than what you would pay at H-E-B or Kroger. Last week was the first time I shopped at Costco in over five years so I tried to walkthrough the whole grocery section of the store to familiarize myself with its current offerings. I was happy with the frozen and non perishables. I got a couple of produce items but I found some that were moldy. My MIL loves their in house chicken pot pie. It is pricey but delicious with perfect flakey crust and large chunks of chicken. You should give it a try and can find it in the refrigerated section. Shopping their ad can be beneficial but also sometimes H-E-B is cheaper. Checkout, even though lines were five plus people deep, moved fast with two-three employees working seamlessly at checkout. Finally, they only accept visa type credit cards, cash, debit and check so make sure you come prepared. read more

Love this plsce, with one exception. Their eggs. Their large eggs would be small anyplace else. They must specially breed the chickens to get large eggs this small, or maybe a special diet. Having had friends and family rave about the products they are able to get their hands on at their local Costco, I secretly wished for one to come to my side of town. It took us a couple of months to wait out the craziness that comes with a grand opening, but once we finally stepped foot into this store we were hooked. It has now been just over a year since we joined. At first, we got the basic membership thinking we would come in every so often. Less tan a month later we upgraded our membership, realizing that having this store literally in our backyard can be dangerous, so we may as well benefit from it. Overall, the employees seem to enjoy their work environment and their customers. Customer service is top notch. I now have staples that I return for each week. Produce is always quality and the meat is as well. Prices for our staples compare well with other local stores and I do not find that things are packaged too much in bulk, that my family of four has a hard time using them. Call ahead deli pizza has, on a time or two, been a life saver. read more

I'm not too sure who they used to design the store interior and thought most follow the same basic layout but this locale is all over the place. On addition the membership service folks are not professional, a lot of stare down giggling kids...wow. I'm coming here on a whim since I'm out of town and needed some snacks for my family. Part of my family includes my dog, my baby Jaxx, a chi-mix. As I waited for my temp member card the girls behind the counter were giggling whispering and wow really?? Making me feel less than welcome. After I received my card and thanked the oblivious kind gentleman, I turned to proceed with my shopping only to be stopped in my tracks by a pregnant Hispanic girl smirking in a very confrontational scary manner. She puts her hand up and says "excuse me, is that a service dog?!" Pointing in disgust at my dog standing nxt to me on his leash. I said he wasn't but that I was visiting from out of town and only needed a few things. She said you need to leave then and return without the dog. I asked to speak to her manager to which she said very enthusiastic like "oh, I already did!" I thanked her and asked to speak with himself and added that she was a tattle tail. Yea, but I couldn't help myself I mean really?! read more

I was actually very surprised at how clean the concession area was. I fed a family of 5 for $15. Better to eat before you start shopping.

Your guy selling barbecue pits needs to learn how to sell people without being totally obnoxious. He sequesters me in front of his barbecue stand as my wife goes to get carrot juice and asking me if I want one and I said no thanks. Then he continues to badger me about his barbecue pits. I told him I already bought one years ago but he goes through his sales pitch totally oblivious to my answer and tells me I need another one. "The second one is always the best" - I try being polite, but this guy just keeps pushing the hard sell to buy one. So I let him proceed with his gung-ho sales approach and it wasn't so much the content of his pitch, but the way he spoke to me in a belligerent, demeaning fashion. It was obvious he was trying to be rude. My wife comes back and I tell him I have to leave and gave him the "great job on the sales pitch" and pat him on the shoulder lightly. He responds by punching me in the chest and saying something - not sure what it was as I was in shock at being punched in the chest. He actually pushed me back - I have never had a vendor do that before. I thought of calling a manager, but I don't want to make a big deal about his lack of manners. I thought about it later and all I can think is: Really? This guy is the best Costco can find to represent their brand and sell barbecue pits? Well, he's not representing you well. I really hope I never see him again. I am sure I was not the only one he offended today. read more

Love this place... their bakery is amazing. They have this cream cheese filling in there cakes. You have to try it.

TIRE CENTER Horrible service. I took my car in 2 months ago because the tire pressure symbol was on....the guy at the counter (Rodriguez last name) said it was all good after waiting an hour. As I was driving away, I noticed the symbol still on - the goon had looked at the windshield wiper fluid symbol which was also on and thought that was the tire symbol! Seriously?! I went back. He then proceeded to tell me my TPS monitor did not work the tires were fine, and a new system is very expensive. Two months later - the symbol still on, I take it in after making an appointment. He calls me to tell me an hour after I've been waiting (yes, same Rodriguez) that he cannot locate the wheel lock and he'd have to release it. I called my husband who to,d me where it was, while we were there another mechanic walked up and showed him where it was. Then when the car was ready He handed me the keys and said all done, I asked what was the problem he said "the tire is repaired". I again asked what was wrong with the tire - he said what every tire has a nail in it. So he could have found this out 2 months ago...instead of me filling my tire up often because it was a slow leak. Horrible hire, bad service. read more

Costco is like an evasive turtle; yes, they can be evasive. Allow me to explain. Costco is very clean, has great wine and selections of all sorts of stuff but most items are there for only a limited time. I went to Costco on Saturday - June 27th. We shop here about every 7-8 weeks to stock up on protein and see what's new in the wine department. We've been an Executive Member for a decade, and was completely taken aback by the blatant disrespectful behavior of the woman putting our purchases in the cart. It's become customary now for the checker to ask if we wanted a box/boxes. They didn't ask this time, so my husband asked if we could have boxes, and I added the "please". There were boxes all around our checkout lane and as well as the lane next to us that was not being used. Did the woman doing to the boxing reach for any of those? No! She went over to a stack of boxes up against the wall and came back with the biggest box that would fit in the cart and proceeded to load everything purchased into one box. Did she actually expect one person to be able to lift that box, overflowing with heavy meat, out of that cart? Of course not! She was being spiteful, to say the least. Once we were checked out, we went over to the stack of boxes up against the wall and proceeded to find smaller boxes that were more manageable, and redistribute our purchase. This, by the look on the face of a male employee waiting to get into this stack of boxes himself, was an inconvenience and we were in his way. Tough! We wouldn't be in your way if the other employee had been a little more considerate. If it happens again, I'll be calling for a manager. read more

Excellent customer service, the staff is very attentive and polite. The store is always very clean, the check outs don't take forever, even when the store is packed. Very disappointed in costco customer service. The phone stall is not owned by costco but is a contractor. Costco gives space to these contractors to engage with their customers but does not take ownership to resolve any issues. My issue took three hours to resolve and all costco could say was to call their contractors customer service. Supervisors were very understanding of my plight but the manager had nonchalant attitude about my plight. Stick to going to Verizon store and avoid unnecessary issues for saving a few bucks it that. read more

Customer service two days before Thanksgiving, when the store was crazy busy, was AMAZING.

As a basis for comparison, I contrast Costco to Sam's. The result? Sam's is meh. Costco is fantastic. One of the huge differences is the enthusiasm and helpful attitude of the employees. Costco is famous for paying their workers a decent wage, and it shows in the quality of their staff members. I have had good luck with the pharmacy, too. So far, everything I've purchased there, I have been pleased with. From clothes to hardware type items, storage/organizer type items, and food. The only drawback? The location at the northeast intersection of highway 242 and Interstate 45 is inconvenient due to the freeway construction that seems never-ending at this point. Exiting from the Costco parking lot on to 242 and trying to get over to the left lanes to turn on to the I-45 feeder always feels like a kamikaze type task, but it's never as hard as I anticipate. However, eventually, the construction issue should be solved. read more

I bought 4 tires from them yesterday and was very happy with what I paid for. I was ready to put a 5 start rating but I wasn't too happy with the tire sales guy who tried to tell me they couldn't put the factory size tire on my truck just because it had a different size on it currently. I had to pull my truck around to inspect the tires that were on it and then he argued he couldn't put anything on my truck but that size. I told him these weren't the factory tires and whatever the book says should override that. He said he wouldn't do it and had to get the manager's approval. We were delayed 40 minutes because he HAD to go out and inspect the sticker on the truck, get his boss's approval, etc. It turns out the sticker says the same size as the book and I was right. Meanwhile we wasted almost an hour haggling over something that any normal person would have just written up and had me on my way. The more I write about this, the more I want to reduce the rating to 1 star because of Julio. I love Costco, but that guy was a total jerk. He wanted me to wait three weeks while they special ordered my tires. I needed tires today. My suggestion to Costco, get people in the tire department that aren't so stupid. read more

I cannot agree with the other user who claimed that this tire center is great, and backs the products they sell. I had a terrible experience with this location, and was treated terribly by the Tire Center manager as well as his manager. This was the worst experience I've had with a business, and is not in-line with the perception that Costco is trying to build - that of a company that stands behind the products they sell, or one that puts their Members before their bottom line. Terrible service. read more

Let's just say service has been crappy before but not to the point for me to complaint about it. Yesterday my father and his friend received the worst treatment by staff and employee Rudy. My dad has use my Costco card before and has not had an issue until the last 2 times. The first time my card was inactive do to the fact I had replace my lost credit card. Well yesterday he's ask a staff member if he could use it he had said yes. Well when it came time to check out they didn't let him use it. The had to call the supervisor to come a deal with the situation and told my dad they wore only going to let him use it for this time after giving them a hard time. My dads friend which was with him yesterday reply is not like we are paying with pesos which is Mexican money. After the staff had been Racist and judgemental with them. Very disappointed with Costco on how they handle the situation. We have membership to both Costco and sams. We have always had sometime of weird treatment with the Costco location in the woodlands. Guess we will be doing some more shopping at sams and cancelling our Costco membership. No one deserves to be treated like this and look down like Costco treat my father. read more

Just finished fueling my car up here. Unfortunately costco gas stations have a completely useless position: the gas station attendant. This attendant has no meaning and no purpose in life. They don't fill your gas and they don't clean your windshield. Well today I guess this particular attendant got bored with his useless and unfulfilling life and decided to harass his customers. That's right, I pull up to get gas and I get verbally assaulted by a gas station attendant low life. He was walkin around yelling at everyone like he owned the place. It was completely ridiculous. Any other gas station in the world I don't have to worry about getting assaulted by this loser because they don't have an outdoor attendant. Dealing with this abuse is definitely not worth the 6 cent discount I will never be coming back and I will warn everyone I can to avoid getting gas here. read more
