My review is for the pharmacy. I do not have a Costco card, but I do use their pharmacy. Lamar is usually there to ring me up and he is one of the nicest young gentleman I have met in a pharmacy. He's always professional and nice. The rest of the staff are great too, just can't remember their names. I usually come once a month to pick up for myself and my son. I can't say in pricing because I pay my copay, but they are usually good about stock. And if they do have it I get a message right away for the next day. read more

The WORST tire store in my 24yr Costco history. James and Andrew are the most unqualified least customer service oriented. We spend thousands of dollars every month at Costco and this executive membership is a joke. There's no good service and the stores are turning into Kmarts! Went in after being stranded with a seriously flat tire. Without checking my car James said I'd have to wait SIX hours for the repair...I had no choice so I had to wait. Then appointment time comes ( there's no comfortable place to wait anymore they removed the bench at the tire centers for some reason ( getting more like Kmart everyday). Then they say they can't fix it and I'd have to wait two more hours to have the spare put on. At the same time I'm looking at the work bays and nobody is hustling back there to do anything. So I demand my keys back and go out and change spare myself...finally some action but I had to threaten James for lying to me and providing crappy service. NEVER AGAIN WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING AT COSTCO LATELY THERES HARDLY ANY SERVICE ANYMORE! read more

The tire shop only goal is to sell 4 tires my car is a year old and from the phone to walking in, they're only goal was for me to buy four tires and not one. Last time this happened I ignored it and took it to another Costco and they replaced the one tire just fine. This is the second time and it's a habit with them. I do shop here quite often. It is a great location with a lot around it. Just tried their new cookie. I liked it. It was hot and gooey and would taste great in one of their sundaes. I do like their pizza and chicken bakes and tend to take them home once every few months. The layout is pretty typical for a Costco. I do a lot of my bulk shopping here. It great for diapers and formula when the kids are small and chips and lunch goodies as they get older. It is also great for dinners. I enjoy their ready to go mac and cheese, chickens, the poke here is solid. Getting peanut butter and cereal and coffee is a good value here. We like their clothing from time to time, like the character PJ's. I have found many great gift cards and saved some money. I have also purchased many birthday cakes over the years. The people working here are always nice. We typically get good service. I have never had any major issues over the years and just continue to shop here like normal. You do occasionally get some great finds. If you like squishmellows, this is the place. I also found some Hunter boots for an amazing price! Those are usually hard to find here, but they do get premium brands from time to time. I also got an Apple TV subscription for a year for a super low price. So I am always on the lookout for a fantastic find. read more

I am having to write this review here because CITI CARD BANK does not have anywhere to write a public review about them. On October 28,2025 I purchased some jewelry while on a cruise from Joyas Caribe in Cozumel Mexico. When I got back I doubted it is fake and it sure was! I took it to Tappers Jewelry and got it inspected by a professional and he wrote me a letter proofing it is fake. I contacted Citi Card and sent them all the documents and proofs to prove it is fake and to prove that I sent back the items to Mexico and got nothing out of it. The jewelry store has no phone number or email to contact them just their address on the receipts and they still chose to side with them. BEWARE USING YOUR CITI CARD OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT HELP OR SIDE WITH YOU. read more

I am officially a new Costco member as of a month or so ago, and this is the Costco where my boyfriend and I signed up. The Madison Heights location is closer to me and one of these days I will go in there, but for now I've only used it for gas. This is also the Costco location closest to my parents' house, and they are also Costco members, so in the "before times" (pre-pandemic) we'd go there a lot on the weekends ... it always had great samples. The last time I went in they had brought a few samples back, too, which was nice. Costco is one of the better warehouse stores and this location is very nice. Gas is always crowded but each "row" has two pumps, so it moves quickly; the longest I've ever waited was about 10 minutes, and I believe that was like primetime right after work or on a weekend. The last time I went to this location my boyfriend bought some dried fruits and also nitro brew coffee for himself. If you're a fan of their cafe, they have a nice, large space to eat, too, and the prices are great ... I think a hot dog with a soda is still $1.50, as they haven't raised the price during the pandemic. Overall I recommend this Costco and I'm sure I will be back sometime soon to shop. Another benefit of being a Costco member is using their travel services, and honestly is the reason we signed up: for our upcoming trip to the East Coast, a 5-day car rental was looking to be $650-700, for a standard SUV, and that was only for 1 driver (adding another driver is an additional cost). I booked with Costco Travel instead, through Alamo, and originally we were paying $550; however, I keep checking the website and now the price has changed to $520, so I rebooked. Fantastic price compared to the other car rental websites. You also get 1 additional free driver with the Costco price. read more

If I could give this place negative reviews, I definitely would. I was trying to return an item with a receipt. Donna, the lady who was working the return desk, was extremely rude to begin with. She had a really nasty attitude as if she didn't even want to be there. I get it, there are days where work is hard but don't take it out on your customers. I bring out my receipt and item, and before she starts the return she asks a bunch of questions outside of the "why are you returning this?" She was basically trying to convince me not to return it. Why would I come to return something if I didn't want to return it? I brought up the Costco return policy, and she just rolled her eyes. I spoke to a manager. He would not back the 100% return policy. He said it is "discretionary." Not according to the website. He basically tried to mansplain his way out of the policy. I was gonna start sending my prescriptions to this Costco in commerce Township, but after the rudeness of the gentlemen with glasses and full beard I totally changed my mind. How was he rude? He very strongly said next person, asked for my information in a rude tone, he said you don't have any prescriptions and walked away without even trying to ask any more questions. Pharmacy review. I came here for my COVID booster. Everywhere else I've been the process has been quick for the shots... NOT at Costco my appointment was at 11... I entered all my insurance information online when I made the appointment over a week ago so it should have been a quick process to verify the info I entered online then give me the shot. Costco has great wholesale items and Kirkland brand items that I enjoy. My main complaint is that every time I walk down the main entrance aisle, AT&T literally harasses me and will not take no for an answer. I usually have to say no 5 times walking past as they walk alongside of me trying to convince me. I don't know if this is an issue at other locations but please Commerce location, can you ask them to tone it down and accept no for an answer once. That is all. read more

I have been a 26 year member of Costco, first purchasing a membership in Seattle, while living there as a student and teacher. This year, with membership prices increasing again, I will not be renewing my membership. While waiting in line at the pharmacy for over 20 minutes (with only one Costco Pharmacy rep attending the counter) I am told that their "operating systems are down" and that they cannot accommodate my pharmacy request. What?! Poor customer service, long wait times, and overall dissatisfaction with this store. Will not be returning. read more

I've been a member for years. While this particular store is not the most convenient, however, I do shop here on occasion. Lately I have experienced an increasing amount of overt racism at this location. The cashiers do not speak to me, but do speak to those customers that are white. When exiting the store the employee(s) checking the receipts will glance at the receipt and basket of white people, but the baskets belonging to people of color are inspected, counted carefully and the receipt is examined throughly. The vibe at this store is not good. read more

I ordered a TV and they stated it would be two day delivery by 7pm. Called at 8 pm asking where our TV was. It was a gift for a friend we were delivering on Saturday. Couldn't give us an answer and told us to wait until Friday. Same results....nothing. Checked with UPS and now delivery is scheduled for Tuesday. Seriously???!!! Any bets it doesn't show up on Tuesday. These people have no consideration for the time we've spent chasing this TV down and pretty sure they DGAF. Really really sad. For the last several weeks the Commerce Costco has had the highest prices for Costco gas in the state. Don't believe me, check it out on GasBuddy. Whoever is setting the price of gas at the Commerce Costco has decided to gouge customers for whatever reason - most probably profits, and doesn't think the customers will notice. You should stop buying your gas there until they come in line with the other Costco locations. On 8/18/26 the range of gas prices for Costco gas go from $3.18/3.19 at the Shelby, East Lansing, Midland and Livonia locations. The Commerce Costco is at @ $3.47 with the next closest prices being $3.43/3.42 at Traverse City and Brighton. The average price for the 15 Costco locations listed is $3.29, with the Commerce location being the highest. I will start checking prices of other items in the store and compare them to other local Costco locations, and may stop shopping at the Commerce location if I find they are gouging customers. read more

the novi/northville costco is the best. today, i had ordered a whole pizza to go on my way out after shopping. it was super windy and about to storm. when i stepped out into the parking lot a huge gust of wind immediately blew the entire pizza box into the air and it was gone in an instant. like, people walking were probably pummeled by slices of pizza and i am so sorry for it. it played out like a scene in a movie! one of the employees saw this and immediately walkied the food court to make me another, no charge or questions asked. thanks again for this quick service. my very pregnant self and hungry family appreciate you. read more

Worst and most embarrassing experience at a store ever will not be coming back made me call a family member who is unable and needs things from the store to be able to basically get my stuff because I made enough of a fuss. I have shopped for a family member before here and never had any problems in the past and other family members are on the membership but they were sick and could not come in to the store. Would've preferred known that was a problem before I also had 300 dollars plus worth of groceries in my cart... and whoever the woman at the cash register was was the rudest person I have ever had help me out at a grocery store. Not only did she not speak English well she had no patience with me and didn't really explain anything of what was going on just had her boss come over and try to "fix" the situation. Clean, good parking, Costco quality, surprisingly good selection of casual clothing. The free samples on the weekends are nice, too. One of the best things about Costco is their gas. Consistently lower prices than anyone in town but only accept Visa/debit cards. Just paid $1.86!!! Yes, they don't have grocery bags but they provide plenty of boxes. It's clean, all employees are service minded and friendly. it feels like the guy working at the gas pumps is a relative because he's so friendly, helpful and nice to talk to! Absolutely the best part of this Commerce Township Costco is the Tire Dept. Have been coming here for 10+ years, and the tire guys/gal have always been very helpful and friendly. They are super busy all the time, but it's worth getting in there (would recommend setting an appt.) I never feel like I am being ripped off or sold more than what I actually need. Best part is that if you buy tires from them, you get a free rotation every 7,500 miles. Had my tires rotated today and they found a drill bit in my tire (yikes!). They were able to fix it and it cost me nothing! At the Lexus dealership, rotation and tire fix would have cost $100+. The nice tire guy who brought out my car today even offered to help me load my bulky Costco purchases. Now that's great service! read more

I've never been so anxious while shopping. On a whim, I decided to get a membership. I figured that the prices would pay for themselves, but the prices weren't that great. I generally do my grocery shopping at Kroger, and I honestly think Kroger's prices are better. Even Meijer has better prices. The membership costs $60, and what makes it work worse is you have to listen to the guy behind the counter try to forcefully upsell you. I told him unequivocally, I didn't want the more expensive membership. He continued to sell. After that, he pushed the credit card. I told him all I wanted was the membership. Even as I was paying for it, he still badgered me. After I started shopping, it was like a madhouse. there was no order or direction. everyone got in everyone else's way. they moved at a snails pace. And multiple people coughed without masks. I know we're we're at the stage in the pandemic where people can do that and the business has no say, but damn! Stay home! I didn't let that sway my review, however. I honestly felt like I wasted my money. The store was clean, and their bulk shopping system serves a purpose, which is why I gave them three stars, but I also gave them three stars because it really isn't worth it. read more

My favorite brick and mortar store that the majority of the people are well aware of what this store is and what it carries/sells. I basically use this store as my primary shopping source for groceries, meats, electronics and wines where the big chain stores/specialty stores are my secondary source for the items Costco doesn't carry. All of the stores locations I have seen in this chain are well run, clean and the employees are always very friendly and truly look like they enjoy working for the company. Another big plus/benefit of being a Costco member is the executive membership and Citi Bank card customer rebate program which has added up to hundreds in dollars of annual rewards for me. So far this year I have over $700 reward dollars where every little bit helps in retirement. Overall a great store and one you should definitely visit if you have not been to a Costco before. If you do visit, very high probability you will become a member. Four stars read more

Costco is wonderful for its products and prices, but this store has for the most part, horrible employees. They do not understand what customer service is, or what it should be. I'm constantly harassed, and chased down, literally, by the front door staff asking to see my card. It's always on me, and in my purse. I usually walk in with 2 kids in my arms and am not able to pull out a membership card. I've encountered such rude, obnoxious, unfriendly staff here at this Costco. The check out people are very nice and friendly and have told me to say I'm here only to buy alcohol or use the pharmacy. I love Costco, but this store makes me run out screaming many times because of how upset I am with the employees here. Ah Costco. I remember when going to PACE was a big deal. Now, going to Costco is a weekly habit for my family. Sometimes, we just get food from the food court. So let me talk about that for a moment. A huge pizza for $9.99. Great. My parents insist that it's the best pizza ever. (I personally enjoy Papa Romano's more, but that's another yelp review). Their chicken caesar salad = delicious. The container is even reusable! The best is probably the hot dog deal, $1.50 for a hot dog and a drink. Oh, how much trouble I've gotten into. I always want pizza, but their hot dogs are so good, I sometimes think I want both. So I get both. It's just a hot dog right? Wrong, it's a huge hotdog that is so filling, you feel like a pig eating anything else. But then there's a tasty slice of pizza winking at you. Of course, I finish it all. I end up waddling out to the car with bulk things and regret going to Costco. But I always go back. When they get busy, it can be pretty hectic. I don't think the $30-50 membership is worth it for a family of 3 or less. Most of their products (pop, fruit, toilet paper, paper towel, etc) you can get for cheaper if you look at Meijer or Kroger sales. But if you need a lot of something immediately at a reasonably price, then going to Costco is a good deal. You don't have to be a member to purchase Alcohol or Tobacco, sometimes the deals on those are pretty good. read more
