Since the Kapolei Costco updated and added to their gas stations, it's been a blessing to have all of the new pumps. If there are any lines they quickly go down. The main store has really stepped up in the Appliance department. Lots of name brand products are available locally Thanks to their Pearl City warehouse on the old Sears Distribution site. We like that they feature a nice blend of Sale items and new products along the entry fence line. Check out is always busy. Good thing they have teams of 2 at the registers to help sort and stage your merchandise to make it easier for the cashiers. Gas prices are in line with the market. Food and general merchandise prices fluctuations go up and down based off of commodity prices. Overall good rating. Definitely recommended

You can't beat Costco food prices. I paid $1.50 for the hot dog combo- it came with a hotdog and a drink or bottle water. And I got the iced mocha latte. All for $4.70! I didn't like the mocha latte. It was a blended drink, too sweet for my liking. I'm sure other people will like it, just not for me. Order at the computer then stand in line with your receipt to pick up your order.

Great prices... I did have several errands to do on this day and though many could have been closer to home I decided to take the drive out to Kapolei as the Iwilei location is quite chaotic at all times of the day and with that wasted time though the drive would still save me the stress to navigate regardless and what a difference location makes in it all. Upon arrival it didn't take longer than a second to find parking and is close to the entrance and not a journey to find a shopping cart as they place them right as you walk up to the entrance verus Iwilei it's all to the side as hoards of folks grabbing them while weeding out the ones that don't work as well blocking access to the other carts along with items from the samples left inside them. I do like the layout here as it's very easy to find the items that I need, self check out was so fast and easy along with their food court which is inside and you pay using the kiosk and stand in line to pick up your items. The staff here is nice and ready to assist you with any issues. This location does have a great flow and all done inside before you finish and head out is a great and easy visit. Thank you!

Shopping in Kapolei, Oahu, Hawaii... We wanted to bring a snack to share, so why not look for something at Costco? This location seems to be less busy - maybe we went during a week day at an off time (while people are still at work)? The parking seemed easy and the line to pay wasn't too bad! The new thing is that membership cards are scanned at the door. The best thing was that the Food Court is inside the warehouse! It's cooler than being outside, and there's no dust, wind, and birds to bother the customers! Yes... There were tables and chairs nearby for indoor dining!!! And... you can order at a station instead of standing in line behind a person who isn't sure of what to order... and is fumbling with their wallet! Haha! I'll have to try the dining experience here... LOL! I just grabbed a salad and left! Self-service payment kiosks seem more efficient! Thank you!

I love Costco and this one is no different. Most of the Costcos have the same set up. They sell everything under the sun: food, clothes, toys, jewelry, books, healthcare, etc. Most of the Costcos that I've been to the cafe is on the outside. The cafe at this location is actually in the store. I prefer the cafe to be outdoors. There are so many people standing in line that it crowds the walkway getting out. They sell the same food as all the other locations on the island. I was tempted to get a chocolate chip cookie, but the line was so long. I do like that their gas station is on the same lot. It makes it more convenient. Costco offers some of the cheapest rates on gas.

That's how much they fill the ice cream. The other locations are great. Stay away from Kapolei.

Always the bare minimum. Sad. The other locations always try to fill the cup, but not the Kapolei concession.

Gets crowded fast and price right for the whole family after ordering show your ticket and whole pizza is called out at right side window

Top of the line cheapest food in game for a good price that feeds the whole family and it does get crowded fast because where on island can you feed whole family with right price for good food not much so be patient with them good hard working people I no the wait can be long but so worth it and employees is nice and the atmosphere is wholesome stay vibin my Costco fam

Wouldn't you know, she greets them and had excellent customer service. Not sure why I didn't get the aloha spirit but I wasn't gonna spend my money at a place like that. I ended up just going to Long's and getting it there. Prices were better. Made a stop to Sushi Bay too. So in the end, the bad customer service worked out for me. I just don't think I'll ever go to Wholesale Unlimited again when I come back to Oahu.

I'm sorry Casee, but Donki does not care or take customer's complaints serious like your reply implies: At the outset, we apologize for the inconvenience and the experience you mentioned when shopping at our store on May 17, 2026 (Sunday). After reviewing this matter carefully, it appears: Store employees near the store exit asked every customer to present a copy of their purchase receipt; In addition to visible checks by store employees at the exit, signs were posted for customers: "Please have receipt ready"; Customers before you presented their receipts and, after a quick verification, their receipts were returned and they exited the store; When the store employee requested you to provide a copy of your purchase receipt, you were not able to and you searched the pockets in your clothes and in your shopping cart but the receipt could not be found; you then stated you had thrown away the receipt; In accordance with store policy, the store employee asked which check-out counter you made the purchase and you pointed in the direction of the self-check stations; You then retrieved your mobile phone and started video recording; As your hands were occupied video recording on your phone, our store employee pushed your cart to the self-check station area and you followed; Upon inspecting the self-check station you were at, there was no receipt. However, your receipt was later recovered from the attendant station after a cashier found a receipt at the self-check station you used and brought it to the attendant station. You continued to focus on your phone to video record. The store employee retrieved the receipt and compared it against the merchandise in your shopping cart; You continued to video record; After verification, the receipt was handed to you before the store employee pushed your cart to the exit area as you continued to video record on your mobile phone. You followed the store employee to the exit area and you left the store with your shopping cart; and On May 22, 2026 (Friday), at 6:36 PM, you submitted a formal report and claim to the store. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Don Don Donki. After spending a significant amount of money in the store and at the food court, I was stopped, detained, and escorted back to the checkout area against my wishes despite having paid for every item in my possession. One of the items I purchased even required an employee to remove a security hard tag during checkout, clearly demonstrating that the merchandise had been properly paid for. I am extremely concerned by the conduct of your security personnel during the incident in question. The video evidence clearly demonstrates that I did not voluntarily consent to returning to the store. Instead, I was directed and escorted back inside by Security Officer Siemens despite my expressed desire to leave the premises. At that time, all merchandise in my possession had already been lawfully purchased and paid for. More troubling is the fact that even after proof of purchase was produced and verified by store employees, Security Officer Siemens continued to retain control over my property and refused to return it immediately. Despite confirmation that all items had been properly paid for, I was treated as though I had committed a criminal act and was escorted from the store in a manner that was humiliating, intimidating, and highly embarrassing. As a paying customer who made multiple purchases at your establishment, including supporting one of your concession vendors, I find this treatment unacceptable. Customers should not be subjected to detention, public humiliation, or interference with their personal property simply because store procedures are inadequately staffed or managed. If receipt verification procedures are causing operational challenges due to a lack of manpower, that burden should not be shifted onto customers who have already completed lawful purchases. Operational shortcomings do not justify the detention of customers, the withholding of personal property, or conduct that may constitute false imprisonment and wrongful interference with personal property rights. I respectfully request a written explanation as to why I was detained, why my property was withheld after proof of purchase was presented, and what corrective actions will be taken to ensure that other customers are not subjected to similar treatment in the future. This incident has caused significant distress, embarrassment, and anxiety, and remains deeply disappointing given the manner in which I was treated despite being a legitimate paying customer What a shame, Don Don Donki. What a shame!

First thing we noticed was that the prices here were way more affordable than Maui. We went to costco beforehand because we didn't want to pay inflated prices for things like water and liquor but honestly it was pretty comparable. Of course we had to get the poke here. They have so many options and flavors that you really can't go wrong. We asked the guy behind the counter what he recommended and he had just made a fresh batch of their spicy poke which was delicious. We also got the californian poke, but that was just alright in comparison to the spicy poke he made. I think the trick here is to just ask what's the freshest and go with that. While the poke gets a lot of love at Foodland, the low key superstar is their fried chicken. Warm, cold, room temperature, it's hella good. We tried their salt and vinegar wings and their garlic fried chicken, and it was some of the best bites on the entire trip. Definitely don't skip out on this on your next trip to Foodland!
