Well I never thought I'd be reviewing a gas station but this was a surprisingly great experience. We all have known Costco to have great value and great prices in gas. Unfortunately we also knew the lines to get the gas would sometimes take 30 minutes out of your day. Well that's no more. The industry Costco closed its pumps to expand. After a short inconvenience it's now open and the lines are flowing well. Amazingly well as a matter of fact. I've been here many hours of the day and each time was in and out in about 10 minutes. Great job Costco, I'll be back. read more

I visited the City of Industry Costco because it was the only location that had the SK face products my SO wanted. While I was there, I noticed the gas station and decided to fill up -- and I'm glad I did. The station appears newly remodeled, with a clean, efficient layout and four pumps per aisle. I went on a weekday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait at all to get gas. Prices were also among the lowest in the area. Alright, go right before closing on a weekday and you're Gucci. Crowds aren't so bad. Back during COVID, they had workers help direct the traffic and everything went SMOOTH as butter. Now that they don't have that, it's a lawless land. People are just driving in willy nilly, into any lane that they want and it becomes clogged chaos if people are directionally challenged. There are friendly workers when you get closer to the actual gas station part of it, but not when you're lining up. As with almost every other Cotsco Gas station (probably since they don't want people on their phones as they're driving...LOL), the connection is abysmal, so when they're particularly long waits, hope that you have a really good radio station on or really good company. During rush hour here (weekends in the morning, I guess just weekends in general or after work), just be ready to at LEAST wait 15+ minutes, but as long as people know how to drive and fill in the gaps, it goes generally sort of faster. But know that sometimes it also leaks onto the main road too. As for the cost of gas, pretty competitive in comparison to the other cheaper gas options in the area, maybe by a +/- 5 cents. read more

Even though I have long time Costco member, I have probably only gassed up a handful of times because of the very long lines. A few days ago, I had to stop by Costco after work to grab a few items and I noticed the lines were not as long as usual so I decided to take my chance. There were only 2 cars ahead of me, and 2 at the pump, so a total of 4 cars. I was able to gas up and fill up my tank within 5-10 minutes of getting in line. The other lanes were a bit slower but I was lucky to have chosen a faster lane. The price of gas here is very reasonable, and I understand the long lines, but time is money and I would never wait more than 10 minutes (anywhere) to fill up my car. A reminder to those who only line up with the pump on your side of the car with the tank, the pumps can actually reach over to the other side - granted you do not have a large vehicle or a high roof. Overall, the gas pumps are clean and the price very reasonable for its members! read more

A decent location next to multiple places so it's a really good spot for tourists. It's right next to Round1 and across the freeway from Frank & Sons Collectible Show. I always come to Costco or Sam's for their gas cuz it's cheaper than the other gas stations. The only downfall to this location for me was finding the entrance to this gas station. There wasn't really any signs for me to find the way as I had to back up and make plenty of u-turns before I found the route to enter the gas station. Maybe if they had some signs that were big enough for people to see, it would've been an easy Costco gasoline station process. read more

Sunday, 10:09 am, I entered the line, I am the fourth car from the pump. The next pair of cars at the pump move up at 10:10 am. I finally get to the pump at 10:14 am. That's a four minute turn over for two cars to fill and go at approximately the same time. I was done filling up half a tank of gas at 10:16 am. Seven minutes today. A bit slow. Lol. Costco gas is high quality to tier gasoline that most car manufacturers trust for their cars. Your membership affords you the great discount over the major brand to tier fuel . read more

Came to this location since it was on the way to all that n dim sum! I don't normally come to this location but came on a Friday at 1pm and the line moved pretty quickly. There's a total of 8 lanes with two pumps each. I guess since there's only two pumps, they don't Have the light indicators for each line to tell people if someone has left. This makes it easy to think that both pumps are still in use if the car in the back pump is much bigger, especially if people aren't paying attention. There was a huge black pick up truck in front of me and I couldn't tell if the car in front was done yet or if it was still there. I used the reflection of the car next to it to see that it was still there hahaha. Tip: pull in castleton street and make a then go south bound onto Hanover road to ensure that you're in line for gas! It seems like it's easier to get your place in line that way than pulling into Hanover road going north bound. read more

Ever since the pandemic caused gas prices to soar, the Costco gas lines would become incredibly long and they used to pour out into the street and people would come in many different directions causing a lot of people to cut in lines and just causing overall chaos. Fortunately, because of all this, Costco reorganized how people enter the gas lines and now there are only 2 lanes to enter, and although there is still some chaos, it's way, way better and pretty organized overall. The lines can still get long but people are generally pretty fast and the wait isn't too bad. Also, this is definitely the cheapest gas in the area and even cheaper than Walmart. If you get an executive membership and a Costco credit card, you can probably save a few bucks on each fill up. Overall, I can't complain about this Costco gas station. read more

I'm here weekly to get. Costco cannot be beaten in terms of value. The price of premium costs just as much as basic gas elsewhere. My only complaint about this place is how traffic is RARELY controlled. There are huge gaps in between cars causing jams and delays. They do have personnel on the ground but rarely do anything to help with the congestion. They only come out when traffic gets bad enough otherwise expect to be annoyed. With better training and traffic control, this would be the only place you should get gas from. Maybe adding signs would help ease the traffic? read more

This is one of the best Costco Gas stations that I've been to. There are two lines to enter the pumps, and there are always workers directing cars. My only reservation is how long it takes to wait for the pump during peak hours since there are only 2 per lane. It is also quite awkward turning in from 2 lanes to 8-10 lines. I usually come around 9am or at night after 8pm. I visited Friday 2pm and there wasn't much of a line at that time either. Outside of that it's always a great experience coming here. read more

So this Costco Gas Station is disconnected from the main Costco Warehouse. There's a certain entrance you want to take to go straight to the gas station so don't make the mistake like me and drive around and navigate through the parking lot to get to the gas station. The gas station here is the old layout of two pump per lane. They still have the extra long hoses so it doesn't matter which direction your car's fuel door is. The station is very clean as in there is no graffiti and the station attendant is very attentive. When I was there, someone was having trouble backing into the forward gas pump spot and the attendant was able to help guide the driver. However, the gas line here are still incredibly long and can take a long time. They do have the new refreshed machines, so I don't think it's on their roadmap to upgrade the pumps to a triple pump line instead of double. Gas prices here are always cheaper than the market value. Premium is about 50-70 cents cheaper than going to like a Shell or Chevron. Gas here is still top tier and I never had an issue with Costco gas. Highly recommend ! Only issue is the long lines. read more

nothing beats costco gas price. I come to this location on the weekend since it is closer to home. The line does get very long since they only have 2 pumps at each line but it moves very fast. There are employees there to help guiding the everyone and make sure cars are moving smoothly. It does get a little frustrated when people don't know how to line up or just blocking the entrace because they prefer a certain lane! This location is getting worse and worse. Lines are always long for no reason. People are lining up just to get cut off because some people are being nice and let them cut!!! Well if you wanted to be nice maybe consider letting that person take your spot and you go to the back of the line and start the wait all over again instead of "being nice and let this inconsiderate person cutting EVERYBODY behind you. This is one of the few Costo gasoline stations that I dread going to. Because of the set-up AND some uncaring drivers, most of the time you find yourself blocked from advancing to other available stations. It's a good thing they have touch-less card readers now. Always good value for my money. The lines may be long but they move fairly quickly. With the cost of gas rising everywhere, this is my go-to place to get gas. I try to avoid the afternoons because that's when everyone decides to gas-up after work before they go home. So I go early morning or during my lunch. I fuel up at Costco Gas whenever I can because it's so darn cheap! Your really can't beat the price here. You do have to be a Costco member so if you're a regular shopper here, I highly recommend getting a membership. You'll save a good chunk of money on gas. Pro tip: avoid lunch hours, after 5pm, or weekends. Or else you'll be stuck in long line ups, wasting more gas. I find the shortest line ups are mid-afternoon on weekdays. read more

Filled up my Kia at Costco on Auburn Blvd. In Citrus Heights. 2 days later, it was misfiring so bad that I had to have it towed to the Kia dealer. My car only has 25k miles on it. Kia tested the gas at 22% alcohol, which is almost twice the legal limit. They had to remove the gas tank to drain and clean it for $700, which fixed the problem. The Service manager said he sees a lot of problems with Costco gas. I filed a complaint for reimbursement with Costo. When they denied the claim, they said it wasn't possible to have water in the gas. I pointed out that I never said it had water in it. At which point the rep from legal rudely told me to not interrupt him. I won't be buying Costco gas again, and neither will my friends and family. read more

Many hours of the day this place is packed. Overall it's never really bad. Just as long as people come here to just pump gas and leave. Please no chit chat please is all I ask between patrons. Just do your business and go. If your in need of help then have the attendant come over and help with your situation. It's the cheapest gas around and since I got this free membership via a birthday gift I'll be roaming over every chance I get. If your in need of gas just make sure you understand that the wait time can be at the maximum of 25 minutes and the fastest is five minutes.
