Large gas station located at the corner of two major streets, Azusa and Colima road. Gas prices at this station are higher than any other Arco gas station I have visited. ITS AMPM...LOL The restrooms are clean but the locks seem shady/ like replaced after they were broken. BUT...they are clean...just went from 3 to 4 stars. Parking is plenty, prices are good. They make you pay extra for using your debit card. Fortunately they also have a carwash. Once inside you can get almost any snack you may crave. The cheese typically flows well for the nachos, the selection of fountain drinks is amazing. Where do you go from here...yes they have hot dogs, donuts and chicken sandwiches. Beware of the cashier at this gas station!!! I bought a sandwich at this gas station this morning. My sandwich with sales tax was $2.73. I paid $5 and the cashier gave me back the change of $1.27. I told him there was $1 short. He insisted he returned $2.27 to me. He said he could ask his manager to play the video from the surveillance camera to show that he gave me $2.27 back. I asked for his manager and then he said his manager is not working today and he will be back on Monday. He was pretending calling someone and saying I was giving him trouble. I was in hurry and left the station. Luckily I lost a dollar only but I can't image if other victims lost more than a dollar when they got their changes. There is an automatic Drive thru Car Wash attached to the Arco. The price used to be $10 for the "Ultimate Rainbow" but went up to $14. Re: quality of the wash: Poor. Back side doesn't get washed. Came here for a basic car wash (car was not severely soiled; dusty). Paid $14, washed it, and the back remained dirty. Went to the Counter to let them know the back was undone, presented my receipt with time/date stamp, let her know she could even come look at my car. Lady cashier immediately implies that I was trying to scam them, and it was rude enough where I asked "Do you think I'm lying? Because you are welcome to come look at the car for yourself and also check your cameras." She said a lot of people lie. So I offered if you'd like to look at your security tapes I can wait, she then said "I usually do, but I don't have time right now." I did offer to wait twice if she needed to check her cams because I am not lying. Finally gave me a 2nd wash, but only because I asked for it, and the back was still unscrubbed. She told me it's because something really sticky is on my car, but I proceeded to rub it off easily with my finger in front of her to show it is not sticky. She said it was up to us to "go to a place to wash our car before you come here." So their solution is *to get a car wash elsewhere before getting their car wash.* Tbh when I looked during the wash itself, the scrub brushes aren't calibrated that well to scrub the back of compact cars, but maybe it could reach larger cars better, who knows. read more

Giving my metro fastrack a break from I-10 for now and I'll use Pomona fwy which brings me to Azusa off ramp as my halfway, home. You can always rely on Yelp to see what's trending and I stumbled on this location after visiting a local tea shop. Located south of the freeway at the N/W corner of Azusa and Colima Rd, you'll find this busy ARCO AM/PM that appears to be a high volume store with the amount of gas pumps available. No mechanical services but they do share the property with a independent lube shop. Expect to find all of your necessities within reason, it's only a gasoline/mini mart but well stocked. I took advantage of public restrooms and I also paid for a $10 car wash with two other options with drive-thru service. As usual, free air and water if you ask to waive the monetary cost. The inside had two clerks behind counter during rush hour, not too messy with clean floors and good circulating air. Just remember British Petroleum is going to charge you .35 cents for credit/debit transactions. I also have to admit the front of store stands out from any other type in this business. It has mini high performance glass wall with a green mirror like reflection. If that's not enough, it turns into a skylight as you enter allowing more natural light. You would typically see this in a retail store but not at a mini mart. I think it's cool the owner used this segmented convex radius glass wall to make a statement. I also cheated exiting at Colima Rd and entered the retail commercial property directly behind to access Pepper Brook Way to Azusa and back to onramp avoiding busy intersection of Colima/Azusa. For you commuters, this is the ideal on/off ramp to access in a New York minute all at a quarter to five LOL. Pura vida :)* read more

Because of its spot on the corner, you can pretty much only get into the station coming south on Azusa or west on Colima. And you can only get OUT in those same directions. Heaven forbid you get back to the freeway without a series of U turns and left turns. Ah well, the price you pay for saving a price you pay. Get it? Anywho, I was going to fill up across the street at another station, but all the pumps were busted and weren't taking credit cards, so I popped over to this Arco and found it to be pretty good. WORST gas station in my opinion. "0" star !!!! I have been living in this area for last 30 years. Never never have problem in any gas stations. I put $25 into the outside machine for my pump. When I went back to pump the gas and boom! the money disappeared. I went inside the store to ask for help. The only cashier on duty told me that I didn't put any money. I told him if he could watch the activities from the security camera. He said no that he would not do it for me. I then asked for manager or his supervisor, he said there was no one. I questioned him if there was emergency who he would call for help. He said it won't happen. So, basically, he told me I am lying and refused to help me. He didn't want to give me his boss or manager's names. He didn't want to tell me when his boss will come to store. He just stood there looked down on the floor. ( no other customer in the store) 2nd day, I called ARCO customer service. They took the case and transmitted the incident to the owner. I should be contacted by franchise store in couple business days. One week went by, no one contacted me. I called ARCO again. They told me they will send 2nd request to the owner. Waited another week, no call. Then, I contacted ARCO for the 3rd time. Even customer services were very surprised that owner ignored the complains. They said most of similar cases solve on the first call. They sent the 3rd request out again. 3 months later, I gave up already. I never went back to this gas station anymore even they are 1/2 miles from my house. They just don't deserve any of my business. read more

Not complaining about the service, only the carwash. Got the $8 one, entered & did exactly what it told me to do. Stopped once the light told me then parked while the carwash did it's thing. At the end of others they have timers for the blow drying part, but this one didn't & it ended when I was barely in the middle. Now for the bad part, ended up scratching the front of my car, like a 1.5" radius right on the hood of my black car. Also, when I went to see the back of my car, it was still dirty..... The machine car wash does its job but I have to warrant a low rating for this Arco because the car wash's pay machine rejects any and all cards with zero notice from the management. I initially thought my cards were screwed or something until I went inside the snack building to ask. That's when the staff working informed me that all cards have to come inside to pay because there is something wrong with the pay machine. I told them they should put up a damn notice so customers don't get stuck up at the payment queue. The staff said they can't do anything due to the machine manufacturer not allowing them to post a notice. Absolute and complete bullshit. What a horrible way to run business. People usually park right in front of the entrance area of the store making it hard for gas customers to exit. Convenient near 60 freeway, mall & shops. However that makes it even haeder to exit the lot and get back on the surface streets. Prices here are usually .05cents more than Long Beach prices. Came here with 2 other girl friends , we pumped gas then went inside to buy snacks and the lady working the Saturday midnight Shift was watching us as we were getting our snacks, had the nerve to stand by the door and "read the newspaper " while we were getting our snacks , then we walked to the counter to get rung up and she rudely asked if "we were ready to pay" so we said yes . Then my friend got rung up and as she was paying , the lady canceled the transaction and rudely asked "if we were paying with EBT" ??? And continued to say we were being rude so she refused service to my friend, then I tried to pay for my stuff and asked her if she could put my friends stuff on my tab because i was taking it and it was my tab , she then kept trying to argue with me saying "she was done with us and that she was refusing service to me too" , she then proceeded to follow us as we were leaving the gas station, walked to the door and took her mask off n rushed to us as if she wanted to hit us , and said " I'm 50 years old you guys are some little 20 year olds I don't have time for you" like ?? DO NOT get a car wash here, when you pay at the pump you don't get a receipt for the car wash you STILL have to go inside. Once you get into the car wash the machine is so sensitive that's once you hit the mark you have to get another code! Too time consuming, and too much of a head ache. What I like about this Arco that it's pretty much full service location. It's got an oil change bay as well as a car wash machine. The car wash starts at $7. It does a decent job on the wash but it always leave a couple of water spots. I'm not too sure about the service at the oil change area since my husband does my oil change. Worst customer experience. This morning around 7:50 am, I came in to reimburse my stamp cards for free coffee. You need 4 stamps for this. I happened to have one card with 3 stamps and the other with 1. There have been plenty of times where I have done this--combined stamps on different cards to get 4 stamps. Never any problems. Until today. Often, the cashier will just combine stamps onto one card and rip the other. Problem solved. But not today. Now, I don't know if its because this guy is new since I've never seen him before, or if he's just a complete imbecile, but I'm thinking the latter since he couldn't figure this easy solution out. PUT ALL THE STAMPS ON ONE CARD AND GET RID OF THE OTHER!!!! Because the stamps were on 2 cards, all he said that his manager wouldn't allow it, and just flat-out denied me my coffee, after I made it too. Not only did I waste time, but wasted coffee too since he wouldn't let me take it. Better believe I took back my cards! Anyway, for awhile already, I've been trying to justify why I've been wasting my money on sub-par, watered down coffee, and honestly, I really liked the staff. But because they're hiring bozos like this, now I'm certain--I'm NEVER coming back here.
