Tip: Flip all your items in cart so Barcodes showing. It makes it easier for staff and super fast for you. Huge selection of items here. For some reason, they don't have frozen Atlantic salmon like other costcos. Great value on everything including gas. Food court closes at 8:30pm.

Racism, rudeness, and hiding behind "company policy" to avoid taking any responsibility…read more The customer service line is either never answered, or they pick up only to immediately hang up. They will politely offer to take your name and number so the GM can "call you back." But as noted in other 1-star reviews--and likely due to their ongoing lawsuit--this is just a cheap "power move" to shut you up and get you off the phone. They leave you hanging like a flaky high school crush who promises to call but never does. Are we back in high school?? I guess ghosting customers is just another strategy they apply to "everyone." Go somewhere else. Not all Costco locations are like this. I genuinely wonder why this specific branch operates this way and why corporate headquarters hasn't intervened. I wasn't even bothered by the terrible parking since it's a busy area, but after reading countless other reviews about customers being mistreated, I only regret not seeing them before I became their next target. To the employees who are so obviously miserable in their jobs: Life is short; stop wasting it bullying others. If you are that desperate for a power trip, run for office or join the CBP. Costco should not allow its employees to aggressively patrol a warehouse like badgeless police officers. Customers are expected to be polite, yet here, it is the staff who go out of their way to be hostile. Living such a grumpy, toxic daily life is not only unproductive but actively harmful to yourselves. To my fellow 1-star reviewers: There is currently an ongoing lawsuit against this specific location for mistreating its customers. While there is no verdict yet, according to reports, the customer who was offended enough to file the suit had his and his family's memberships abruptly canceled by Costco and was barred for life. What a stellar business model for handling customer relations. My sincere respect to Mr. Michael Ydigoras, who stood up not only for himself, but for all those whose voices may never be heard.

Which is ok, I totally understand. I really never shop in the morning, or neither have I ever been on site right during opening. So when staff told me I had to wait, I was okay with it. STAFF BECAME RUDE WITH COMMUNICATION: So I got comfortable sitting by the pillar that was next to the shopping carts towards the front of the entrance, a gentleman that was wearing an orange vest, asks me to move because I cannot be waiting by the entrance section. " all other members that are waiting for the 930 timeslot are waiting in line on the side of the building" -there was no line -I walked up to the same gentlemen, and I let him know. "I don't know which line you're talking about. There is no line" - "There's a line on the side of the building!" There was no line on the side of the building. I was walking back-and-forth, searching for this so-called line. So when I asked him to walk me over to the end of line, he pointed at the pillars where random people were sitting. I communicated and let him know that is not a line. He essentially changed his explanation by saying "you can't block the entrance mam! Executive membership get first priority" Sir I understand and respect that you currently are serving executive members, but please do not say that there is a line on the side of the building. It's very misleading. You can simply just say " we are currently serving executive members from 9 AM to 930. We respectfully need to have this entrance section cleared so that we can service these members. You are welcome to wait anywhere on the side of the building other than by the entrance section. We apologize for any inconvenience, thank you for your understanding" Communication goes a long way.

I bought a shirt there. I had some tops I was hoping to get rid of it so I thought I would tried selling there. I should have known better, I've tried selling clothes at Plato's Closet, Flashback, Buffalo Exchange etc...and they never take my stuff. I don't know why and I promise I always made sure they were clean and in good condition. They were brands they listed they accepted on the site: Anthropologie and American Eagle...they didn't take any. The girls were super nice and I appreciated it. But it just always seemed wild to me that they take on brands such as Wild & Fable and A New Day...and my stuff isn't that super outdated again I don't know their process for selecting clothes because they do have curated pieces. In summary, for shopping it could be fun and you can find some stuff but not on a thrift price. However as for selling, unfortunately at this point now I've just never had a good experience selling clothes at these kind of places. If you want to sell clothes you will have better luck on Poshmark where I've sold clothes more easily. So this place can be fun for buying but for selling you might leave feeling frustrated and confused which is why I rated this place at 3 stars.

I really enjoy shopping at Costco Business Center in San Marcos. What makes this location stand out…read moreis what it doesn't have. There's no food court, no clothing section, and no gas station, which means the store is much easier to navigate and far less crowded than a traditional Costco. It's ideal forbulk purchasing, with early hours and a focus on restaurant, office, and commercial supplies. My favorite part? No sample stations. That means no groups of people blocking aisles while waiting for a tiny morsel of food. I can get in, find what I need, and check out without fighting crowds or maneuvering around carts parked in the middle of the aisle. So annoying! The store has a great selection of bulk food, beverages, and business supplies, and the quieter atmosphere makes shopping much more enjoyable. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the selection is more limited than a regular Costco warehouse. Still, if you're looking for a faster, less stressful Costco experience, this is an option. The service has been consistent. The value, well; shop around to check pricing. Costco isn't always the cheapest.
