Liz, his assistant was the sweetest ever and made me feel very comfortable! I needed to have a crown done - I have had several in the past so I am familiar with the process. Let me just say now, Dr Hochfelder has mad skills! Lol, really. No pain or discomfort during or after the procedure and my crown is a PERFECT match (which cannot be said of the ones placed by other Drs) I am so glad to have found him and would happily recommend him, not only because he and his staff are nice but because they do such great work!!

I took my 14-year-old son to have a root canal, and he was completely scared because he had been in…read moreso much pain. The staff was amazing the minute we walked in. The lady that greeted us at the front desk also took my son back and prepped him to see the physician. She was also communicating with another assistant to make sure that everything was prepped correctly. The teamwork and the clear communication they had with each other was amazing. I had a feeling they were short-staffed, not because they looked stressed, but because there were not a lot of patients in the office. When the doctor came in, he was just as nice, and he explained everything in terms I could understand. The 3 of them worked together so smoothly. One of the ladies even walked out to get lunch for her and her coworker. The only way I knew this was because the doctor asked the assistant if she had eaten lunch yet and wanted to make sure his team had something to eat. After all, they were the only two there that day. Even though they were short-staffed, they made my son feel comfortable and relaxed. They laughed with him and gave him a T-shirt that said, "I survived a root canal" This office, hands down, was terrific. With everything and everyone stretched thin because of Covid, this office didn't even show any deficiencies in their workflow.

Finding this location has so far been great. I appreciate the staff greeting me and my child, not only just the receptionist. While we waited for a brief period of time, you could smell the cleaning products which I am always a fan of! They accommodated myself and my child fully; when he had a hard time with the normal X-ray method they opted for a different method with no problems. When Dr. Suzanne came in to do the final check on my teeth we had some light conversation which helps make the experience way more personable. She was great with my son for his check up and he had a great time here. If I could make one suggestion; something I always appreciated from our previous dental office was that they had things to entertain children while they waited for their seats. This place was so clean, very organized and well maintained. Thank you for making this transition easy for us! See you in six months!

No one wants to wind up here...(or anywhere) to get a root canal. It's lousy, it's not fun and it's…read morereally expensive wherever you wind up I spent a week in miserable pain before I was finally referred here. I'm a self-paying patient and yes, the price was very high. However, a root canal treatment anywhere is expensive. I was able to get a prompt appt to see Dr Gonzalez. The office was super clean and comfortable. After a quick set of X-rays and exam, they were able to perform the root canal right away. Every step of the procedure was orally explained to me. Dr. Gonzalez and her assistant worked together like a well-oiled machine. They moved in synchronicity. I marveled at their precise movements over my face. The root canal was performed with lasers which was new to me. All throughout, I never felt a thing other than the discomfort of the bite block and protective film they wrapped around my tooth. In about an hour, the root canal was done and I was on my way. Now that I need to restore the tooth (i.e. get a crown), I regret not getting an implant instead. Next time, I will definitely look into getting an implant rather than a root canal. I left with a very expensive t-shirt and thank you gift. I'd rather they skip the souvenirs and reduce the out of pocket expense, but we all know that's not happening. Overall, a pleasant experience.

I was told by the assistant to wait in the waiting room during the procedure. Being my first time I asked why she replied it was policy. I then kindly asked why is it policy, with all the horror stories we hear i had to ask. The doctor came in after hearing that and explained the why. I will say it felt like a bit to back and forth at first vs him addressing my concerns and some things said were a bit off putting. I won't go in detail because at the end I see we're all just humans who can err in thought.... In the end everything turned out ok which was what mattered most and he allowed me to stay in the room afterall. Also funny at the end he was so suprised and mentioned it was his first kid who has not complained or moved during the procedure due to the pain. Hopefully none of you have to see an endo but if you do this was our experience.
