I went for a cleaning and one of the issues I had was that I sometimes grind my teeth in my sleep because I was going through a stressful period and anxiety makes me grind my teeth. They took multiple xrays and images of my teeth. After they were done, one of the dental assistants; I assume; came in with 3 images of my teeth. The 1st was what she said my teeth would look like with veneers, the 2nd was invisalign and the 3rd was what my teeth looked like at that moment. (I have attached a picture to show what my teeth look like) AT NO POINT DID THEY OFFER OR SUGGEST A MOUTH GUARD. So I tell them that I'm definitely not having veneers on my VERY HEALTHY teeth. So they start telling me about invisalign, really really selling me on invisalign. They tell me that my insurance will only cover $2000 and that I would have to pay the remaining $1500 out of pocket. They made it seem like if I dont get invisalign my teeth will Crack and start to fall out. Basically making it seem like I need invisalign or I'll lose my teeth. AGAIN, all this because I was grinding my teeth at night SOME NIGHTS. So I agree to the invisalign and they bring me paperwork to sign. Halfway through signing, I notice that in very small print, it says "should I change my mind about the invisalign, I will have to pay the office $1900" (or maybe $1500 I dont remember the exact amount but it was well over a thousand) At that point I told the dental assistant that I dont want to move forward because of that clause, to which she responded "ow its okay if you change your mind, we wont charge you" but I insisted on ripping up the contract because a promise is not as legally binding as a signed contract. After my cleaning, they tell me that my copay is about $870 (around that much), so I pay it immediately. A month later I'm going through my explanation of benefits on my insurance app and it says I should have only paid $400and something. I call the dental place to ask about the discrepancy and they tell me that I infact OWE THEM $150something. So I call my insurance, and they tell me that there are 3 services that they did not file a claim for thats why it wasn't covered. My insurance called Lakeside 5 times asking them to put in the claim for the services. Eventually, after 2 months of hounding them, they send the claim to the insurance. After that they owed me $370something. I had to call them multiple times asking them to send me the refund, on the 4th or 5th time, the lady I spoke to; very dismissively; said "we are just gonna send you the money, its not worth all this back and forth" like they were doing ME a favor by refunding me the money they owed me. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. DON'T GO HERE.

I got the root canal done, and the dentist told me that he couldn't do the impressions due to inflammation and bleeding. I made the changes he told me to and came back 4 weeks later. When I was at the appointment, he took the impressions and was not happy with them. He told me I would need to come back a 3rd time before I could even get my crown ordered. This would mean 4 visits before I could get that problem fixed. I called the office asking for a refund so I could get a second opinion, and he was suddenly willing to send my impressions in so I could get the crown on. When I left my first appointment, there was cement from the crown left in between my gums (which I had to floss out) and the temporary crown was laying on top of my gums He was rude to me, saying that my efforts were "not enough". I also felt pain during my second appointment. The hygenists are nice but very inexperienced. He had to correct them multiple times over the two times I went. Don't recommend

He made my gums bleed so badly by digging deeply into my gums when he did the measurement. It hurt more than I had ever felt in previous appointments. Then he told me that because my gums were bleeding, I needed to pay for an expensive cleaning. I had been to a previous dentist just a few months prior and I keep regular check ups. When I asked him whether I could have the regular cleaning that was included with the insurance, he wouldn't give it to me.
