So we waited, and waited.... 3 weeks and a lot of phone calls about my grandfathers pain, we finally got a phone call from the office that Medicare approved his extractions that were needed. They got us in the following week. I told them how thankful we were because that molar was really bothering him. My grandpa went in and they turned us away due to my grandfathers blood pressure being so high (completely understandable) so we rescheduled for a few days later. For our second visit that week, his blood pressure was lower so we were able to do the extractions! I was in the lobby and heard my grandfather raising his voice to the dentist. They were going back and fourth so I asked to be taken back to him. THE DENTIST WAS ATTEMPTING TO PULL OUT HIS LOWER FRONT TEETH!!!! My 81 year old grandpa looked horrified and she continued to raise her voice back to him so I asked what was going on. She told me that in order to do dentures she has to start with the teeth that were approved by Medicare.... We were there for a toothache! How dentures became a priority to this dentist over my grandfathers pain is beyond me! The dentists got upset and tried calling the insurance while we were packing up. She was very argumentative with them. When we were walking out she stood in the middle of the hallway saying this was not her problem it was the insurances. We will never return.

I was started fairly quick, but at 10:30 my husband hadn't even been started yet. They apparently have only one x-ray machine and one lady that does x-rays so he had to wait till I was done before he could start his appointment. No one told me this when I made the appointments or we would have scheduled separate days. The office manager is incredibly rude and was giving me attitude for wanting to leave because of my 11:30 appointment. The hygienist was also horrible. She reported to the dentist (that only "saw" me on a TV screen and didn't look at my teeth) that I needed a deep cleaning. The dentist explained that my teeth also needed antibiotic treatment and I needed to start coming in every three months. I knew my teeth were not in bad condition and I've never even had a cavity. I declined and saw a dentist at a different practice FIVE days later. They did a normal cleaning, told me I did not need antibiotics, and that I only needed to come in every six months like normal. Avoid them at all costs. They do everything they can to try to charge you for things your insurance does not cover. My husband had to pay a second co-pay because of his split visit. During his second visit for his cleaning, they also couldn't let him see the dentist (in person) and wanted him to come back for a third visit which would require a third co-pay. He declined. I plan to report the hygienist and the dentist I saw on the TV to the licensing board. I called the office to get their names and license numbers, but they would not give them to me. How shady is that?
