My husband and I were always so excited to come home at the end of the day to see what new developments to the project had unfolded. They got the entire project done in the promised time, which is all the more impressive considering we recently got a random two weeks of rain, which put a completely halt to hardscaping. Zion not only provided the best price, but also were excellent to work with. Working with Will at Coast Outdoor Living was a great experience from start to finish. Our project…read moreincluded tearing up poured concrete and slate flooring both of which were showing age and damage, replacing with new Belgard pavers, and building a block wall, firepit, and custom block bench seating. We are really happy with how everything turned out. While a variety of challenges arose (thanks Covid) the communication and ease of working with Will made it overall a great experience. A few things that I wanted to highlight... (1) Detail. Will was not the cheapest contractor we got a bid from, however his quote was meticulously detailed, well thought out, and easy to follow. When I started asking a few of the other contractors about what we had discussed but was not written down in their quote, their price and timeline started rising. This showed me Will was honest and up-front and I would not get change orders for things that were verbally agreed. (2) Communication. There were a few delays for various reasons crew members getting sick, small corrections, supply chain etc - however the communication was great. As soon as a problem was identified it was communicated as well as the plan to rectify. (3) Flexibility. We didn't know exactly what we wanted when we started, I'd say we were 90% there but made some changes on the fly. Will was involved, shared his opinion, included the foreman when appropriate, but also willing to work with us when we had changes. (4) Accountability. When a project stretches a few months there are bound to be some issues that arise. Will took accountability for everything that was reasonably in his teams control. As an example when we didnt like one aspect of the firepit, he came over and agreed it was not up to the standard of the rest of the job so he completely redid it, at no cost to us. We will be working with Will again in a year or so when we install matching pavers in our driveway. Projects are tough but I would recommend Will due to his professionalism, accountability, flexibility, great communications and ultimately a beautiful finished product.

A+++ all the way! I highly recommend Landscape Plus. I've been wanting to renovate my backyard for…read morethe past few years and when I finally decided to take the plunge, I reached out to several landscaping companies in the area for an estimate, including Landscape Plus. I wanted to choose the contractor based on: 1) fairness/transparency of the estimate, and 2) whether the owner will be onsite every day to check on the work and progress, and 3) how many jobs the owner takes on simultaneously. I ultimately decided to go with Froy + Landscape Plus because he not only provided the best estimate but he struck me as a really genuine, trustworthy person, and I loved his philosophy of taking on only one job at a time for the best quality outcome. Because the reno approval process with my HOA took such a long time, there was actually quite a bit of a time gap between the initial estimate and when I could begin the work, but Froy was incredibly patient with me and was still easily reachable whenever I had questions or updates. I did my entire backyard, including a full demolition of existing pavers, built-in barbeque/kitchen, gas fire pit, and huge retainer walls that wraps around the entire yard, and re-tiling the whole floor with a new fire pit. Froy and his crew actually finished earlier than the initial estimated timeline, which really pleasantly surprised me. Every day, Froy and crew always showed up on time, respected our property and cleaned up after themselves, and Froy gave me very frequent updates on how things were going, what was going to happen the next day, etc. I also did not run into any surprise additional cost of any kind (other than what I added on my end, and even those additions were very fairly priced.) Last but not least, even when the work was all completed and the entire invoice was paid for, Froy came back a few times at my request to help return leftover materials + add extra lights. Froy is very dedicated to each project he takes on, and will go that extra mile -- he will not leave you hanging until you are completely happy and satisfied with the outcome. I'm so happy with the way the yard turned out, but also extremely pleased with how smooth the entire proccess was. If I had more backyards to renovate, I would 100% choose Froy again and comfortably recommend him to friends and family. Thank you, Froy!!!
