He fixed the irrigation line but re-installed the pot backwards with the seam to the front (very ugly). The pot was also installed way out of level. Pics below. I sent him these pictures and asked that he make this right. He refused to come out and suggested I find someone else. I understand that people make mistakes, but when they do not stand behind their work, it is not acceptable. I will not be using Sergio again for any jobs big or small. The job took about 3 weeks and the final cost was close to the original estimate. I received about 4 bids prior to choosing Dana Pacific. Far and away, I knew immediately that Socorro was the most honest, knowledgeable and professional of all the companies I talked to. His estimate was in the middle--not the cheapest not the most expensive so it seemed fair and complete. He and the crew came every day from about 7:30-4:00 as long as it wasn't raining. They did a fantastic job. My yard looks better than I could have ever imagined. They were a pleasure to work with. Very friendly, always checking to see if I had questions, etc. He's followed up to see how everything is going, if I have any questions, and offered to come back out and check on everything and do a bit of weeding. After many unsuccessful attempts of hiring a hardscape contractor, Saloman arrived punctual to provide an estimate for my backyard project. He completed the work timely as promised and left the entire area better than he found it. Impressed with the backyard hardscape, we asked him to start on our front yard. As expected, Saloman is a true artist that loves his work. Unlike previous contractors, he meticulously trimmed and shaped our palm trees without damaging the trees or any surrounding plants. Also, he even cleaned our roof that was full of debris. The most impressive thing about Saloman is that he works on each project with such care and attention to detail as though it's his own house. And unlike some of the other contractors (we got many other quotes), Saloman's prices were very reasonable and lower than all the other contractors. We will definitely keep his number for all future projects.
