Came for the beach sunset view and got mostly good food. We sat in the deck in the back, where there were fish & crab in the water & sand. There was a loud group celebrating at the table next to us. Our server said he's usually a bartender -- they may have been short staffed and moved him to table service. My stuffed chicken was a bit dry but trifingo was good. Grouper entree & risotto with octopus were also good. Daily special of lamb was not as good as we hoped for. read more

Just got the Worse Experience, I can completely understand its Fathers Day and you are busy BUT if you knew that then plan ahead and be full staffed! Got there got a table, my kids ordered the drinks, I was in the restroom so my kids waited until I was done so I could order my drink. Server got back to the table brought my kids drinks and asked me what I would like to get; I was told him my drink and also ordered appetizers. He got the appetizers maybe 30 minutes after that and came to get our order. Gave him my order and also said I didn't get my drink, he said ok let me put the order and get the drink. Mind he has other tables ordering and to all of these other tables he brought drinks on point! He came to our table to get empty plates and I asked again I have not gotten my drink. He said I'll be right back with it. My kids drink were EMPTY at this point my little one ate his food because it was the only plate that came to our table. I let my little one finished and asked for my check. The food never arrived to my table, drink never got to me, my kids drinks empty and not one person said do you need a refill? NO! So, I got my check, why was my drink listed in my items? If I never got the drink??? I told them I never got the drink, he took it off! Then said your food is ready, you sure you don't want to wait? NO, I do not! Paid for the items we consumed and left. The worse part is that there wasn't not an apology, because you knew you messed up, you know we were left out! We were happy to learn that we arrived at the first day post-inauguration date in their new great location by the sea. The outdoor balcony area by the sea is just beautiful. Considering first day, where everything is still falling into place, service was acceptable but slow at times. Appetizers like the sorullitos were delicious, though my fish was under seasoned. Overall with the new beautiful location and some room for improvement on the service due to start up this place is a great option for dinning on a sunset with a great view. read more

So we decided to return for our last day of vacation to eat here once again. And Boy will be impressed once again first off the waitress that took care of us at brunch, remembered us and took it upon herself to come say hi and gave us some recommendations which we followed. I also have to say we did come here for sunset and it is absolutely stunning view. But let's get onto the food my buddy ended up ordering the seafood paella which was cooked perfectly, and the flavor was out of this world. Nothing was overcooked at all, and the portion size was out of this world. My other friend ended up getting the Volcán which had three different meats with a Mofongo that was so soft and tasty and some cheesy white sauce. I ended up getting the Ossobuco which came with a risotto and I was blown away, especially for the fact that there was bone marrow in the bone. The portion sizes were enough to feed five people. Of course I had to get a passionfruit Mojito and their presentation was great. My friends and I said we wish we just ate here every single night and tried something different every night. The location is amazing it has a beautiful view. The food was 10 out of 10 they have big portions and you will definitely take left overs. The service was ok not so great experience with our waitress. Unfortunately he was not very attentive and was always inside the main dining area while you see others in and out asking their customers if they need anything we had to go fetch him for everything we needed and he never once asked if we needed anything. We were out looking for a late dinner and this was the only place that was open and didn't have a wait, so we ventured in to try. Low and behold this was a great decision! We started with the house bread and guava butter, really good! Then we had the conch cocktail and the octopus cocktail, and shortly after the fried cheese. The octopus cocktail was actually really good! For entrees we had the red snapper stuffed avocado in salsa criolla, as well as the octopus asopao. El agua nunca llegó a la mesa. Para traer dos tragos y dos botella de agua pasaron alrededor de 25 minutos. Y cuando se le se preguntó en varias ocasiones pq no llegaba lo que se había pedido y pq la comida tardó tanto, la contestación fue que estan ajorados.
