Ok , so sat down and had a great chat with workers . Had a coconut margarita that I won't have again . Not that tasty but coconut water and rum was good. Had great food after it came , took a bit but they did have a wedding party so that was part of it . Bought some good coffee from shop and some goodies, nice cup !
Restaurants in Cabo Rojo are good, so the most difficult thing often is to pick a place. After some Yelp reviews, I came across Buena Vibra. The reviews and pictures from other Yelpers, and the menu spoke to me. The ambiance is very relaxed. Arrived to the restaurant and parked in their lot. Our party of three was greeted right away, and given the option to choose where to sit. All our drinks were good, and the food and service were amazing. I highly recommend the rice and beans, mini cordon blues, coconut shrimp, and skirt steak with arañitas. For desert, the crème brûlée and flans are a hit.
Went there at 7 ordered around 7:15 and our entrees didn't arrive until an hour and a half later. Now they did mention to us that they are packed and the food was going to take a little longer than normal to arrive but didn't tell us how long. 30 mins would have been too long 45 minutes the max but wow an hour and a half. The food was actually really good when it arrived but I ate it with such anger in me that I couldn't really enjoy it. My daughter ordered the kids burger off the menu and it was a cheeseburger, she hates cheese, when they took it away with only 1 bite eaten they brought something else. The bill however still had the burger and I asked the waitress to remove it because she didn't eat it. I showed her on the menu it didn't mention cheese at all in the description and it was labeled burger not cheeseburger. After some back and forth with the waitress, they eventually removed it but after an hour and a half wait you're going to nickle and dime me for a kids burger. If they have such long wait times for food they should fix it. Everyone around us had similar wait times, so it wasn't just out meal. Stop letting so many people sit down or give people actual times to eat. Overall this was a complete waste of my night and I will never recommend this place nor come back.
I'm a bit obsessed with the idea of those plantain cups filled with deliciousness and this was one of the only places to mention it in their review, so we headed here despite it being a 40 minute drive. The place seemed nice enough as was the staff, but apparently all of those shredded plantain cups came with food that was cold (seafood salad, etc.). I fully admit there may have been a translation issue, but I did ask if any of the dishes were valor and our waitress said, "no, todos frio". So I instead got the burgers served on totstones and this is where the real issue comes in. The meat. It's very clearly mixed with salt (and egg?) long before being cooked so the texture is just really bad. Like weird sausage bad. Actually the same texture as the salty meatballs (which were salty (as advertised) but also had that weird sausagey texture. The chicken cordon blue bites were quite tasty though.
I tried this with family on our first trip to Puerto Rico, and the food was fantastic! All the staff were super friendly and were accommodating since we didn't speak much Spanish. It's an open air place where all tables are covered, and it's very casual and welcoming. Two of us had the Aguacates Rellenos (stuffed avocados) one with steak one with chicken and both were fresh and tasty. My father had their ribeye steak (which was huge) and said it was the best he's ever had in a restaurant. Topped it off with fresh cold mojitos and couldn't ask for a better evening! Must check out if you're in the area!
Excellent ambiance. Excellent food. Excellent service. The calamari was great and crunchy, the avocado steak and avocado fish were awesome! The food and presentation were great. Only one bottle of red wine was available. They will not charge you on the table, and you have to check out at the register and then they force the tip on cash or Venmo. Odd practice for which I cannot give this awesome place more than 2 stars. Stop that unusual practice and you can be a 5 star place. The lady at register was quite aggressive and rude about asking for the tip to be cash/Venmo. Be ready for that awkward moment.
Buena Vibra is close to our family condo and we always plan to have at least one meal here every trip down to PR. The churrasco stuffed avocado is my all time favorite. We had the passion fruit sangria as well as a red sangria. The vibes here are always GOOD and they've recently added some cool new decor. Their airbnb upstairs is also super cool, we've used it in the past. Service is always friendly. We will continue to come back each trip
This is an open-air type restaurant/bar, so consider bringing bug spray if you're eating after dark. I'd say some of the dishes were amazing and worth five stars - definitely the arañitas (fried plantain bits that were so good) and the coconut grouper with guava (heavenly - maybe the best seafood I had my whole time in Puerto Rico). The pionono bites were good - solid 4 stars but probably next time I'd try a different fried app. We got the stuffed avocado with conch and that was just okay - maybe the stuffed avocado seafood special is better, but unfortunately it has shrimp and my friend is allergic to shrimp. The passion fruit juice was okay, it was a bit too sweet for my taste.
We enjoyed this place very much to say the least we visited here two times in our weeklong vacation. The food here will definitely not disappoint. The first time we went, even the owner came up to us recommending us dishes, and we took his recommendation. We got the coconut grouper with the churrasco in a guava sauce and holy cow the grouper was cooked so perfect it didn't even need a sauce. We had the churrasco with shrimp and mofongo in a white sauce!!! Like so much flavor. The stuffed avocado with guava churrasco was on point. The second time we decided we wanted steaks so we got there 38 ounce cowboy ribeye steak with a chimichurri and one side it was only $65 liking the states where we're from that would be $150 steak all day. it did take a little bit to prepare, but we're very understanding and we're super relaxed. We knew we got steaks and we ordered three of them. Let me tell you they cooked perfectly when they came out. We were like oh my goodness. The ambience of this place is awesome. They definitely are into cars and everything but it's so relaxing and open and you get the fresh air and breeze. I highly recommend you go check out this place. You won't be disappointed, but this is a scratch kitchen and it does take a little bit of time.

Very disappointing experience at Buena Vibra in Joyuda. We waited over an hour for our food. When my churrasco finally arrived, it was raw even though I ordered it medium. I told the waiter, and she said she was sorry but refused to take it back and told me I still had to pay for the plate even though I didn't eat it. After that, I ordered an appetizer cause I though it will be serve faster, the appetizer "goyitos", came out extremely dark, looked burnt, and tasted burned. When I pointed it out, the waiter said they're supposed to be like that. Between the long wait, undercooked food, and the way everything was handled, the customer service was terrible. This place was recommended by family and I regret coming. I won't be back and I won't recommend it. read more

The place looked nice, and the service was good. We enjoyed seviche for an appetizer, and the drinks were fine. I give it 3 stars only because our avocado-stuffed grouper looked, and most importantly, tasted like tilapia (I'm adding a photo). We decided not to make a fuss out of it, but it was a disappointment. Another odd thing was that they requested tips in cash or via Venmo, separate from the bill. Not a bad thing, but kinda odd. read more

The food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Average plate prices ranged from $20 to $30. A full bar is available. We plan to return. read more

Buena Vibra is close to our family condo and we always plan to have at least one meal here every trip down to PR. The churrasco stuffed avocado is my all time favorite. First time there. Went early because our friend told us that it got really busy at dinner. He was right. Food was really good. We'll prepared and very tasty. Plenty of parking. Casual decor, family friendly. Owner greeted us as we were arriving. They were working on expanding the restaurant. read more

Amazing food and staff. The stuffed pineapple had plenty of seafood and I had to get a box it was so much. Fried grouper was fresh and fast. Good vibes () just enjoying the outside, cold beer, and great food. I eat here every single time I come to the island. read more

After a long day at the beach we stopped in to get a bite to eat. The restaurant has a very cool vibe, it is a bit on the rustic side. The staff was excellent. Various members of the staff were checking in on us all the time. For my meal I had a chuleta can can which is a large cut of pork chop served with a piece of crackling, it was so good. My girlfriend had the arañitas filled with conch. She absolutely loved her meal. What a great choice and if we are ever back on this side of the island, we would definitely go back. read more

We spent the 4th of July weekend in Cabo Rojo. On our last night, we decided to come here for an early dinner. They have private parking with plenty of space. I noticed, as we left, they have an EV charging station. We were greeted by a host, who I think is the owner. He was friendly. We were quickly seated. Lucky us because shortly after more people started showing up and a line had formed. But he was on it, keeping things running smoothly. This was the best meal we had during our stay. We started out with the masitas de mero, which are fish nuggets, and the coconut shrimp. Both were hits - perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The nuggets were especially tasty. For the main course I went with the Cayo Blanco after seeing so many photos of it. Great choice. I would recommend it. It's a mofongo with a skirt steak on top and surround by shrimp, all covered in a white sauce. Be aware this dish may cause you to go into a food coma, but it's worth it. Portion sizes here are generous. The Buena Vibra Burgers are also excellent. My wife ordered them. They are three burgers with tostones instead of buns. Definitely a dish to share. Also, this was place is great for craft beer lovers. A previous reviewer mentioned he had three different servers. That was the case with us too. However, it was jot really a problem since they were friendly and attentive. I'd rather have that than one bad server. I recommend eating here. Even if you just plan to go bar hopping (chinchorreando) and don't want a full meal, the appetizers and drinks here make this a a great stop. Either way, this place is worth checking out. read more

Service was friendly and attentive to our drinks. The food took over an hour and the place was empty. My husband hit the burgers and they were just ok. I have stuffed avocado with skirt steak and plantain fries. My food was good. Prices were high, no refills on Iced tea which we didn't realize until we saw a charge for each refill. The ambiance and vibe is great, outdoors but it wasn't outstanding food-wise for us. read more

Stopped for a quick drink and pick up some food for our day road trip. Service was excellent, the Pacha margarita were very good. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and they were all very good: piononos, alcapurrias, frituras de mero, zorullos, aranitas. The restaurant is open so it's breezy and atmosphere very casual. Definitely happy we stopped there. read more

I came across this restaurant on my search for food/places to see in PR while I was on vacation. It has very high ratings on all the travel blogs and apps I've looked at and very well deserved! The presentation on all their dishes was exquisite, unfortunately we devoured everything too fast for me to realize that I should've taken pictures! Haha That being said, you know not only the presentation is awesome but the taste as well. Only thing that survived long enough for pictures was the Mojito de Parcha that was phenomenal so delicious and fruity and reminds you of what paradise taste like. Plus I like to chew on the passion fruit seeds! -We ordered the fried fresh Grouper bites (or Mero in Spanish) for starters so crunchy and buttery... just delicious! -I ordered the avocado stuffed with fresh fish in a cilantro sauce, very good highly recommend. -My fiancé ordered the "Cayo Blanco" which is steak atop a mountain of mashed green plantain a.k.a Mofongo, with shrimp and a delicious creamy white sauce. It is a MUST try! Probably one of the best dishes on the menu but it was a super large portion which I'm happy about because I got to eat a lot of his food as well! :P read more

This restaurant has a FL keys vibe in all the right ways. The breeze is just right and the music gives it the final touch. The staff greets you and checks on you constantly. All servers come by, not just the one that sat you. It seemed like a team approach to ensure you were ok. Great hospitality. We had the goyitos as a starter which is bacon wrapped chicken and pepper. Surprisingly good! We also had the Pura vida and the Mini Volcan guava dish. The "mini" was plenty! Both dishes were excellent! Very savory with a combo of flavors that worked well. The fish was so fresh. I would definitely come back for this hidden gem. read more
Looking for amazing food, drinks, ambiance, service, and music? This is the spot to check out. We got here at 5:30PM and there was a 45 min wait to get in. While you wait you can get a delicious and refreshing mojito at the bar (or beer lol). We To start, we ordered coconut shrimp and it was honestly to DIE for. Jumbo shrimp covered in thick pieces of coconut shreds deep fried and served with red sauce, amazing. I got the avocado stuffed with buttered shrimp and my BF got the avocado stuffed with ceviche paired with a medium cooked churrasco. Both dishes served with rice and beans!! Honestly If you come here, get any stuffed avocado, it is unique and down right delicious. For dessert, try the chocolate moose! Taste like a creamy Ferrero rocher. Loved it!! The service is also super great! They are open to modifications and really try to tailor your experience. I would 100% come back again! CHEERS PR! read more

Wow. This place is fantastic. We had the pionono bites, stuffed avocado with shrimp, and salmon on a bed of guacamole with fried egg. All was phenomenal. Great outdoor seating too. Highly recommend! read more

Waited 1 1/2hours for our food, our waitress came once to take our order and never came back. The food was terrible, the only good part of the food was the pineapple. Only gave one star because I can't leave ZERO stars read more

First time ever in Boqueron, and came across this gem recommended by a family member. First off, the name speaks for itself! "Good Vibes" we came here on Friday night and loved it so much we had no doubt coming back again Saturday night. Friday night was a little more empty however Saturday, all tables were filled! There was a live performer as well which was pretty good! For appetizers, we ordered the coconut shrimp and the arañitas (sorry I couldn't catch a photo!!) the arañitas was our first time trying it (think of shredded hash browns from ihop but 10000x more amazing) For dinner; both nights, by popular demand, majority of our table (it was 6 of us) ordered the cayo blanco - O M G. This consisted of a mofongo in a creamy garlic sauce with shrimp and topped with churrasco - just a heads up these dishes are HUGE but the flavor is so good, you will consume it all!! Also for dinner has the Aguacate Relleno con churrasco. (Stuffed avocado with skirt steak) this avocado was the biggest one I've ever seen! I'm not a fan of desert especially after such big dinner but you HAVE TO ORDER THE CRÈME BRÛLÉE. It is the BEST. Nice and crispy on top and soooooo creamy. Bathrooms are gender specific, music is on point, so grateful to have stumbled upon this place. Anytime I come back to PR, this will be on my to do list!! read more
