Best hair cut place in rosamond ca I go there all the the time and the wait is not long if u don't have an appointment.

I have been coming to this Cost Cutters location for several years, and I have always left satisfied with the quality of my haircuts. I trust the entire staff here, knowing that I will leave pleased with their service; so much so that I often don't make an appointment and simply get helped by whomever is available. I have had my hair cut by almost everyone that works at this location. In my opinion, the entire staff here deserves 5 stars, for their professionalism, friendliness, and the high quality of their service. I believe the facility and structure at this location deserves a three-star rating though, since it could use a fresh coat of paint on the inside and a little redecorating. Overall, I would give this location a 4+ rating (almost worthy of a 5 star rating). The folks at this location help a variety of customers with different needs, from older folks to really young children. I often see men getting short military-style haircuts, since this location is close to Edwards Air Force Base. I also see several women here having their hair cut and styled here as well. The last few times, I have had my hair cut by Tanya. I really like her; she's friendly and always does a great job on my hair. In addition, she is also very patient with me, taking her time to do a good job, and happily listens to my suggestions for how I would like my hair to be cut. No more going all the way to Lancaster to get our haircut. Both my daughter and I got our haircut at Cost Cutters by two different ladies (I want to say my girl's name was Lily or Lillian). They both did a great job. It was $25 which is $5 more than what I'd pay in Lancaster, but our hair looked better and I didn't have to drive as far, so no complaints. read more

I cannot believe the haircut I got here today... I went for a trim and got butchered. The stylist cut layers into my bangs without asking me... actual layers starting halfway up my forehead. It's hideous. I have never in my life seen layered bangs and she tried to make it sound like it was my fault for not asking her specifically not to do it. I have extremely thin hair and the hair is now so wispy toward the end you can't even see it because of the layers she cut in. Anyone who has seen human hair before could have told her not to cut layers into hair that thin, and she did it without asking me. read more

Never ever will we be back again. We waited over an hour and some lady brought her kid in 30 minutes after we got there and because she complained that it was taking so long, they skipped my son and I and took her. Isn't that why you wrote us down when we arrived, so your have a list?. Piss poor service and I do not recommend what so ever. Highly disappointed. I went to Cost Cutters on a Sunday for a haircut and color. I usually like Aveda Salons but nothing was open. I was extremely impressed with Cost Cutters. Jazzmine was very friendly. She cut my hair to the exact length I wanted about (4 inches of). She did a great job coloring my hair how I wanted it (bayalage blonde). I went to Cost Cutters in Rosamond CA...One of the "managers" cut my hair and I have never ever EVER had such a hack job in all of my 57 YEARS!!!!! And the thing that sucks the most is, she cut off so much that there was very little left of my hair to even be fixed. I thought about going back but figured if they could butcher my hair sooooooo badly, I was not going to give them another shot to jack it up more! omg. I am soooo not happy. It is nothing resembling what I asked for. NOTHING. And it was noticeably uneven. It looked like I had 2 haircuts! A different one on each side!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more

I was there for an appointment and immediately got uncomfortable when the older lady, I believe Alma is her name, wouldn't stop glaring at me. Throughout my service I could hear her gossiping and being extremely unprofessional about her co-workers, making facial expressions and inappropriate gestures. I took a chance on this place because I did not want to go all the way to Lancaster/Palmdale. Stephanie listened to the issues I was having with my hair (fine, dry, curly hair + desert = carpet fuzz looking locks), and did exactly what I needed--cut the dead off, brought the hair back to life. If you're in Rosamond, I recommend this place, Stephanie in particular. Prices are great too! read more

I always get what I want here. The staff is friendly and do a good job. This is where I get most of my cuts.

Both my daughter and I went in (2 separate times) and had stylist who didn't know how to cut naturally curly hair. My stylist attempted to comb/cut my hair dry even after I asked her to spray it 3x. I told her I wasn't comfortable with her process - her response is that's how SHE cuts hair. It was very stressful. read more

I was left waiting and told it would be 15 minutes and no one was in front of me when two girls walked in off the street and wanted the manager to cut their hair and noticed it was a different manager, so I know they did not have an appointment. The employee took them before me when I was at a 25 minute wait at this point, pretty poor management and maybe they need to find a new manager when she was sitting there and allowed this to happen. read more
