I really wanted to support up and coming stylists but the quality of service is not up to par. Also salon vibe is weird not as friendly everyone is just busy doing their own thing to notice you. When I was trying to explain how i wanted my hair cut, the technician is paying more attention to the noise and conversations going on in the background, I should have left immediately! I should have, I didn't, now I'm regretting it! I didn't think the cut was completely bad, but when I got home and combed through, I wanted to cry! No cuts were straight! Even though in my description, I demonstrated straight cuts and how I wanted the layers cut, Instead of how I described, this person decided to only use the tip of the scissors. Snip, snip, snip, snip with the tip of the scissors. That DOES NOT make an even cut! Some of the cuts were as much as 1/2 inch difference in length and the length my hair now is, the difference looks jagged, crude. Maybe she was having a bad day and I was her first victim after lunch. Who knows? Whatever her excuses are, I did not get the cut I asked for and am regretting coming here. I do not recommend this business! And this is what really gets me, before the haircut I informed this person that I wanted a perm in a couple weeks after the hair has a chance to relax and grow a bit, and asked if she did perms? She said yes, but after this haircut, I'm afraid of chemical burns! How would my hair is going to look if she touches it again when all she had to do was make straight cuts, and she could not even do that! I have an appointment this afternoon to get my hair re-cut with a professional, not a technician! I should've done it yesterday, but I did not have a ride into Lancaster!
