NEVER AGAIN. I had a terrible experience at this salon. My sons haircut was completely rushed with no attention to detail -- no blending, no evenness, and overall just a bad job. The stylist seemed completely distracted the entire time, by another stylist that brought all 3 of her children to work -- including one who was sick. She couldn't keep them under control, and it created a chaotic, unprofessional atmosphere. To make matters worse, the salon had a horrible smell, making the whole experience even more uncomfortable. I expected a welcoming childrens atmosphere, professional environment with staff who were good with children and left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I won't be returning and do not recommend this place. Paid 40$ and had to take him somewhere else for another haircut for another 40$. 0 stars read more

I needed my daughter of 16 months to get her bangs fixed after she got a brush stuck and the solution her grandmother found was to cut it off. I was extremely worried taking her to get a hair cut because she doesn't like anyone she doesn't know touching her and she bites! But she immediately liked the environment and accepted the hair cut. They were able to distract her to get her bangs fixed and at the end she didn't want to leave. I will be doing any haircut here from now on! read more

Pros: Very patient staff, Team effort to help calm hysterical baby, they offered teething snacks and lollipops, very friendly, accommodating and put on ms rachel to distract him as well as one employee singing and clapping to distract him. Cons: The manager Nicole, with whom i made the appointment with, was over 10 min late for appointment with no apology or "I'm just finishing up, be right with you", they butchered my son's haircut before his 1st birthday, shaved a bald spot when making the hard line, she says he moved, I didn't see him move in that moment but he was constantly bawling his eyes out and squirming and pushing her away throughout. She didn't mention the error, I had to point it out in displeasure. I brought my son here for his first haircut several months ago.And even then I didn't care for the cut but this and one other place are the only kid's haircut places that pop up in lancaster and the other one only has 1 review. I showed them a picture of the cut I wanted and ended up with, I really don't know what to call it other than hard to look at and so mad at myself for making him endure the trauma of a haircut with the result being awful. After I pointed out the divet made, she replied, "I'm not going to charge you" She finished up and cleaned up the work the first employee did, which i am grateful for but the niceties don't negate from the outcome. A bad haircut. I walked out, still recognizing this is a business and the employees gave their services and time, i wanted to still tip $20 as a form of payment with tip since I wasn't being charged but to my suprise, when I asked how much, Nicole replied $20. Half price? That's fine but only upsetting after you just finished telling me there was no charge. I tipped $5 on top of this but will never be back nor can I recommend it solely from my experience here. read more

Thank You so much to Silly Willy for my baby's first hair cut. We scheduled my baby's appointment at 9am came in, immediately was greeted and welcomed. You have the option to sit with your baby or put them inside a car. Nicole was super friendly would talk to my baby and interact. She would ask us if everything was okay if anything needed to be fixed, Listened to everything I wanted ,made sure I was satisfied with my baby's cut. She's been the ONLY one who has ever cut my son's hair and has done an amazing job! My son is on the spectrum and we went from screaming and crying at 1 years old to finally, after 7 years, sitting all by himself! Silly Willy really is the best barber shop for kids! They have a wide play pen and lots of toys to keep the little ones entertained. The stylists are incredibly skilled and great with kids. They are patient, kind, and funny, even when your child is crying and all over the place--just like mine! I didn't have an appointment, but they were so quick to respond and took me in first thing in the morning when the store opened. I'm honestly so upset. Please do not take your babies here. Narveena seems to not like children. Her whole demeanor is off putting and she's very passive aggressive. I told her I did NOT want my son's hair short I just want a trim around his face and ears. She got way too scissor happy! She kept messing up and cutting it shorter and shorter. She was blaming it on my baby became he was crying and moving and that's because she is so rough!! She kept pushing is head around. And then she tried to say that he was "traumatized" from his previous haircut he had at barbershop and I told her no actually he was calm! It's just her! Our usually spot didn't have an opening today and it's all the way in the valley I wish I would've went with my gut before I stepped foot in here bc it was filthy. Is this not a place for children? Our son needed a hair cut so we called and were able to make one for a convenient time pretty easily. There location was easy to find though gaining access to the building was a little difficult. The system for getting in is a little wonky because you have to be let in by someone. The stylists acknowledged it was a problem at that they are working with building management to sort it out. The appointment itself was excellent. In and out with no problems. The stylist was professional and asked a lot of good questions to make sure the haircut was correct. I was so nervous for our babies first haircut but my brother in law took his girls to Silly Willy and looking on yelp Nicole wrote that they are experienced and work with infants and I took the chance and it was the best experience. Rashell was our stylist and she was amazing. She answered all our questions and she was so sweet to our baby and did a great job. I highly recommend! We will be returning customers for sure. I had an appointment to be seen at a certain time which I loved because I have a 15 month old and our little good mood window is, well, very small in between naps, snacks, and bottles. We show up to our appointment 10 minutes early with not even a slight welcome or smile. Okay, trying to be as understanding as possible I figured it was because all 3 stylists were busy. I take my 2 kids to the "play area" which has a carpet I later realized hadn't been washed or vacuumed probably ever. My kids clothes had a mixture of filth and hair just stuck to them. It was disgusting. I sat there for 45 MINUTES with not a single slight glance or acknowledgment! I had to stand up and request someone cut my baby's hair and it wasn't even the girl who I had an appointment with (Nasreen)! She was still working on the same teenager from when we had walked in. Rashell proceeds to cut my baby's hair who at this point is just completely over it so the haircut was very rushed. It took about 10 minutes! Needless to say I will NEVER ever book here again and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. read more

Catlyn was amazing! My son wanted his hair styled after she cut it (he's 3 years old so sitting still is not something he does well). She did double French braids! While she was French braiding his hair, she gave me a mini tutorial so that I can start doing it at home. Then my daughter, who was mostly waiting patiently, really wanted color in her hair, so she colored BOTH kids hair. I love this place. Everyone there enjoys their job.
