What a wonderful experience! We had not planned to eat dinner here, so without a reservation, we entered, hoping for the best. We were graciously seated in a very comfortable booth. My Cosmo was delicious. The scallop appetizer was Devine. Dave had chicken Marcella which he devoured. I had shrimp pesto which was also very good. We recently had dinner here on a Friday night. There was almost no one else in the restaurant for a 6:30 reservation. Drinks were slow to arrive, no wine selection at all. Can't even order a full bottle of wine. Server seemed annoyed to come by the table. When we asked for a recommendation, his recommendation was the surf and turf for everyone, seemed like a way to jack up the ticket price. Many items on the menu were already sold out (on a Friday night at 6:30?), while we have heard of good reviews, it was disappointing on all aspects especially considering the price. Really disappointing experience for Mother's Day brunch. I was prepared for a wait because I had been warned by a friend that it took a while to get your orders. But after an initial warm greeting and after our orders were placed, service disappeared and no one even checked on us to ask about water refills or apologize for the wait. The first of us was served an hour after our reservation time and the other three in 20 minute increments. One after the other. My companions enjoyed their food. Mine was the last to arrive. I got the crabcakes which were served more like a crab salad, not a cake or patty, and I didn't enjoy it. As I said, I expected a wait, and I was flexible and patient with the fact that there were items on the menu that they were out of. But I'm truly perplexed about what happened to our service, which was initially very friendly and present, and I'd have felt better about the experience if the issues were acknowledged. read more

My wife and I went there for a date night. Great service and atmosphere. The drinks were fantastic (blackberry old fashioned and a strawberry basil margarita). Entree portions were plenty and the food was excellent. Dessert was delicious as well. We will definitely come back! read more

Wow!!! We are foodies and discovered Cosmo's by chance. They have morphed from Cosmo's 1.0 to 2.0. The menu for the Pre Fixed 3 course meal ($68) was partially correct, but we were impressed with our choices. Everything was better than expected. French onion soup was tasty without being salty, asparagus with an egg was unique, tuna tartare was mixed in with greens and mustard for a special presentation and robust flavor. The scallops with oranges, duck with butternut squash, and generous portion of tender beef tenderloin with bernaise sauce were excellent. Dessert was not needed. My Fiance and I tried this place out on a whim a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to shut up about it to my friends and family. I can't wait to go back. It is seriously the best French food that we have had from coast to coast in cities that would boast being known for French cosine. (Other than France the country of course). We had exceptional service with layna I think is how her name might be spelled but hopefully they know who I'm referring to! I can't wait to go back. It's pricey for the base cost but not really once you see how much food they actually give you for a whole three courses. You'll leave full and happy.
