I was in the area, desperately in need of a manicure, and decided to check this place out with a friend. First impressions when walking in: nice, bubbly, and clean. We were greeted with welcoming words. There were no customers at the time, which was understandable considering it was an early afternoon on a Wednesday. One thing I didn't like was that there was no price/service menu to be found, but I still wanted to give this place a try. I was seated with Kim, who did an amazing and thorough job on my nails. She was nice and talkative, and she did my nails exactly the way I wanted. I paid $13, plus tip, for my manicure, which is a little much compared to $10 at my regular spots (same quality work). Regardless, it was worth it. If you're in the area, I suggest you check this place out and ask for Kim if she's available! They're a fairly new business, too! read more

My husband and I celebrated one week of marriage by getting manicures and pedicures. We went in early on Sunday and got full treatment. My husband thought he was at an oasis and was in heaven. Thrilled to have been pamper by lovely ladies and a massage chair working his back. Later we left blissfully and enjoyed the Montrose Farmer's Market. I went here about a week ago. I wanted the gel extension nails and they assured me they could do it. They did something a little different. They gave me the glued on acrylic tips and used hard sculpting gel on top to make the thicker nails and added the color on top. I had never tried this method and was open to doing it. The guy who did my nails wasn't super thorough. He didn't really cut my cuticles or give a small massage or use lotion or file my nails beforehand. He did do a great job with the actual polish though and with creating the nails so I was willing to pay the $45. Sadly, 2 of my nails broke only 9 days later so I don't think I will try this gel method again. Also, my toenail polish started to chip 2 days after I got them done so I don't think my pedicure was worth the $25 they charged. But the lady who did my toes was very very kind and did a good job while I was there. read more

So me and my daughter walked-in today. We were sat for a spa manicure and pedicure. But as soon as two Caucasian ladies came in, the man (owner/manager?) instructed the employees to service the two ladies who just came in. Although the man started working on my daughter's nails, I am left waiting forever! When I complained, he said the 2 ladies have appointments. What?! How come he didn't tell me that before we were sat? They take preference here and no doubt I felt discriminated. My feet are now pruny and the water is cold. I'm never coming back here after this. We were here first, we are to be serviced first. And if there are appointments, manager/owner should have told us that there will be a wait, that way we could have made a better decision how to plan our day. Bad customer service. read more

After going to many nail salons and being disappointed in their service, I came across this fine place after leaving Buff and Tweeze on foothill because they didn't accept walk ins. This place saved me that day because i needed my nails done that night and I came in as soon as they were about to close and they still took me in. I am so happy with this place. It is so convenient and only two blocks away from home. I love how John works on my nails to perfection. I always ask for him. Ive been coming here for 4 months now and im always satisfied. I really wanted to like this place. Nice people. They squeezed me in for a two person Mani/pedi. However, they didn't let me test any of the gel colors so I had to guess at how they would really look, which didn't work out too well. More importantly, the person doing the pedicure cut my toe and then proceeded to continue to use all the necessary cleaning and rinsing liquids, which stung and Burned terribly during the whole pedicure! She never tried to protect the area with a Band-Aid, and when I finally asked for one, as it kept bleeding, it took them a while to figure out whether or not they had any. Ultimately they did. Good news is I did not have an infection afterwards, which I was closely monitoring. Just don't feel comfortable dealing with them again. read more

Going here was the worst experience I had ever had. The man doing my nails was rude and temperamental. He put on my acrylics and they were bulky and sloppy- and when I asked him to make them thinner, he said okay- then changed absolutely nothing. When it came time for the polish I asked him to do a (simple) half-moon design, to which he replied "too hard" and then painted them solid red. To top things off, they had a promotion going on at the time- so when I showed him the coupon on Yelp, he told me that it was 'probably old' (it wasn't) and didn't give the the discount. There are so many better nail salons in Montrose, don't waste your time going to this one. read more

If you would love to get your nails damaged, this is the place to go!! Horrible service. Blatant lies thrown in your face. I personally went in to get my acrylic nails off professionally. Instead of soaking them first, they decided to take them off manually, which damaged every essence of my nails. I asked them why they weren't soaking my nails even thought I was clearly in pain and they just replied that this was a faster technique. The video I have uploaded is right when they decided to finally soak my nails after leaving me in pain for over half an hour. It's been about 3 weeks since this happened and my nails are still wrecked. The worst part was that they were taking off the acrylics and ripped into the middle section of my nail then had the audacity to say that I brought a broken nail when I clearly felt the rip. The two stars are only for the nail service. The rest of the review is about the environment and way they handle their business, at least today. We had an appointment. We were seated and 5 minutes later one of us were taken to a chair. I had to wait another 15 minutes for a chair, that was already available, to be cleaned and prepped. Once sitting, I had my feet in the water for at least 20 minutes before anyone even came and told me what was happening. Meanwhile, the other one to come in with me had a 30 minute head start. But the lady who was working on her pedi kept leaving and doing things. Fine. Back to me. The lady, once she was focused on me, was great, good pedi and mani. My only problem was the bowl of water for my hand was scalding hot. I was surprised and let out a small 'ah' due to the surprise. The other girl I went with had cold water. So there's an inconsistency there. I do have to say the massage chair was great. When I was finishing with my nails I looked at the girl I came in with and she had barely started on her nails. I was confused. She had a 30 minute head start and somehow I caught up to her? She told me her manicurists kept getting up and walking around to do different things. She also said that the brush to clean the paint from around the nail was dropped and the manicurist picked it up and without cleaning it, went back to using it. They also do not understand what overbooking is. The place is tiny and packed with people. They should have turned people away or at least remember appointments and have 2 chairs next to each other available. Oh! And maybe this is normal, but I've never been to a place that waxed someone right in front of the pedicure chairs. It was a weird and new experience to see that. TLDR: Overbooked, tiny place, the nails came out great but the environment isn't worth it. Don't recommend. read more

Went in with my boyfriend and his parents for his birthday... We were walk-ins, all 4 getting mani pedis so we expected a wait but the man at the front told us he could take us right then. We had just come from another place that told us there was an hour wait so it was pleasantly surprising that they could take us right away. Oh was I wrong, I had been sitting in the chair for 45 minutes when we finally spoke up, seeing they seated me and I was patiently waiting for someone to come. They told me to put my feet in the water 35 mins ago... No joke, I had to take them out because my feet had turned into raisins. Everyone else in our 'party' had been helped... The man who was at the front came over to possibly give my a manicure but I told them I would just get a pedi seeing everyone was already done before me. Apparently he wouldn't do a pedicure for some reason so I continued to wait. He yelled upstairs; one of them ran over and quickly did a sloppy pedicure, definitely not what I paid for. When we left, I saw that they made 2 of us bleed from cuticle clipping. We definitely will NOT be back! read more
