I love Nilofer and Ziba!!…read more a quick back story: I was going to Anastasia's in Beverly Hills for a few years. I was at the mall one day and noticed a girls eyebrows. They were gorgeous! I went to ask her if she also went to Anastasia's and she said no. I asked where she went and who did them. She said Nilofer at Ziba in Artesia! :) The following day, I booked my first appt with Nilofer. Well, that was over 22 years ago!! I never went back and I've been with Nilofer ever simce. She's the master artist behind my absolutely gorgeous eyes brows for over 22 years!! Not only does Nilofer have a keen and sharp eye for her craft, but she is also very sweet, kind and compassionate. I look forward to my appts with her and love going to Ziba for the Zen vibe and friendly and warm culture they have fostered. That's how good she is! She always listens to exactly what you want and knows how to clean up your brows without over plucking. It's partially technique and partially instruction (I needed to hold my skin more taut, but she didn't correct me). She does very precise threading work, but I could feel her getting very close to my eyelid. As much as I like the look, the scabbing and cuts make me never want to return. The skin around your eyes is delicate and should be treated as much.

She cleared it up for me the first time, and I've noticed that as the months progress, because she is clearing out my blackheads for me it doesn't look like a strawberry anymore. She is also super helpful because if I ask about skin concerns such as anti-aging, dryness during winter, smaller pores, skin elasticity etc, things like that, and she'll tell me what ingredients to look for when I'm buying skincare products. The more you go, the more familiar Brigette becomes with your skin, so I feel like I get a customized facial every time I see her. I'm lucky to have found Babli several years back when she used to work in Nanu's and since then I've followed her when she had her own salon and again now inside of Joy's Hair Salon on South Street. Once I find a great threading lady, I'm a customer for life because I've been screwed by so many who don't know how to thread. I came inside today and was greeted by Babli with a smile and a hug after not having seen her in 6 months. I've been going through Babli withdrawals in Seattle.... I was so happy to see that everything is still set up like it was in her old place. She still has the point check in system, she still retains the same prices, and she still is the sweetest lady! It's a shame that her last landlord raised her rent prices because she is truly a gem and I only wish that there was a Babli in Seattle for me.
