Fritzie did an amazing job on my hair color and never fails to satisfy me each time i have an appointment with her. I've always been looking for a hair stylist that would actually care enough to take their time to educate clients. She's not only educating me on the hair color levels but she made sure i fully understand the whole process. Fritzie is such an amazing hairstylist. I kid you not it took her 2 session for me to go platinum blonde to silver and back to the dark side, and my hair still feels amazing. Fritzie has a private studio that makes your hair experience very personal and fitting to your needs. She is patient with your requests and also offers her recommendations and suggestions to make sure your hair is properly taken care of, but will not over step her boundaries. I gave Fritzie two stars because I did like how she did my hair the first time I went to her. After that I was just content, the last I was traumatized and horrified. Fritzie had been doing my hair for a year now. When I initially went to her for my first appointment she did a color correction and I loved it. Throughout my appointments with her, it was never my goal to achieve blonde hair. My two appointments prior to my last were a bit of an issue. I work full time and go to school, so my schedule is pretty hectic which is why I always schedule my appointments in advance to make necessary schedule arrangements. In the summer I was taking a summer class and working and was going on vacation the day right after my final. Who doesn't like to get their hair done before a vacation? Unfortunately, she scheduled my appointment wrong, I had to go to her salon around 10pm after my 14 hour day and because it was so late the only thing I was able to do was retone it. The time after that I wanted a change, but she said all she scheduled me for was a retone and she scheduled an appointment after me so we wouldn't be able to do much. Although I had avidly texted and sent her dms of what I wanted. So all we did was a gloss. People make mistakes. It's ok right? So for my appointment right before the holidays which luckily ended up landing on the same day of my work Christmas party, Fritzie had her new website up. In order to avoid any scheduling confusion, I specifically asked what I should book and I was told the fritziefied appointment. Great! I waited anxiously for almost 2 months for my hair appointment. I had been wanting an ash brown color and she had told me several times in order to achieve that color due to my red undertones she would have to bleach my hair. So finally I decided to go for it so I can get the color I want. Showed her several pictures so she can get an idea of the shade/color scheme I am looking for. I also specifically said I did not want any red or brassy tones or any blonde tones. She explained what she was going to do (which let's be real I'm not a hairstylist so I don't know what any of that really means) so I just said if that's guna get me the color I want let's do it. I agreed to bleach and cut 5 inches off since there's a chance my hair will break and will have to cut it off anyway yet still get charged for bleaching long hair - per Fritzie. Well 100% I got more than 5 inches cut off and got nowhere near the color I wanted. Still not sure how I ended up with more than 5 inches off when she told me I got lucky and had no breakage and we didn't need to cut anymore. It was literally a hair nightmare. I panicked and said I could not leave like that so she retoned it and it was even worse. I literally had short, blue, gray, blonde hair. I almost started crying. I was told "people see colors differently" and it's because it's dark out and the lighting is different. I had been there since 10am and left a little past 6 and had to leave to my Christmas party which I was co hosting with blue, gray, blonde, short hair. I was already late to my party and had to continually stop myself from crying while I was getting ready. She did tell me she could fix it for me the next day, but still made me pay. I texted her the next day and mentioned getting some sort of compensation since I got literally nowhere on the spectrum of what I asked for and I felt robbed and cheated. She simply stated she was sorry and it's unfortunate how I feel. She then told me she told me everything she was going to do and wouldn't have proceeded had I said no. In order to be able to walk into work the next day and not incur any additional costs by going to someone else to fix it (if anyone would even be available the week before Christmas) I decided to let her "fix it" thankfully I have a cousin who lives out of the country who is a hairstylist and she told me what tones she should use which I told Fritzie. She literally said we are reversing what she did. Yet she still did not offer any type of compensation or reimbursement. I literally lived a nightmare. Single handedly the worst hair experience of my life. Never in my life had I been that disappointed and paid so much to get absolutely nothing resembling what I asked for. Celebrated Christmas and rang in the new year with short hair with a color resembling nothing what I showed. Hoping and praying my hair will grow back by this summer for a lot of big life events I have planned. See for yourself the pictures of what I asked and what I got. The saying you get what you pay her is way off base here. Unfortunately, I paid a lot to have nowhere near what I wanted and basically have my hair ruined. read more

Went to Fritzie to simply add highlights to my existing ones but she went above and beyond by correcting the old color and bringing life back to my damaged hair. She was very precise when adding the new highlights with placement and application and educated me about the process along the way. She truly cares about her clients and reputation which reflects on her work and her customer service. Another plus, her salon and everything in it is super clean. read more

I went in with the idea of going completely dark (permanent hair color). Fortunately for me, she took her time in consulting with me. She educated me before taking this huge step (as my hair was pretty light). She gave me her opinion while still respecting my wishes. What makes Fritzie stand out from many others is that he truly takes her time. She will NOT rush through you to get to the next client or even book in between your service (many salons do this). Friztie is great! The studio is very private and she takes one client at a time, which is great because she really takes the time to tell you the process in order to keep your hair as healthy as possible. I've done two sessions so far with her to lighten my hair and I love the results. She also offers water and little snacks as well so you can't beat that! To say I was excited when I found out Fritzie was doing hair again is an understatement! She was quick to respond, was able to accommodate my tight schedule and I had a great appointment. We did full highlights with toner and a cut and it came out beautifully. She was able to blend in my prior color so nicely it looks great again. I don't know where to begin.. I don't normally write reviews but this girl deserves it! This was the best service, not just hair styling, I have ever received from anyone! It's in a private one-room suite in a Phoenix salon suites building, so she can only focus on you, rather than going to a regular salon and your hair stylist is rushed from other clients and hopping from client to client, unable to give the best work they can. It's a cute little suite and Fritzie is super sweet and knows her stuff. She gives options on how you want to approach your goal, gives advice and recommendations on how to reach your desired look all while how to make your hair the healthiest it can be. I wanted to go to a light ash blonde, but I knew for sure I wouldn't be able to achieve that in one session since I have borderline condition black hair from alot of hair history (even the horrible box dye). But, she gave me the option to pay "hourly", which means you pay for the length of the service, rather than the amount of product being used. So I had two sessions in one, and my hair lifted all the way to my desired look. Not only did my hair look absolutely amazing and it completely shocked me, she sets up her iPad so you can watch Netflix and Hulu while you're just sitting and waiting around, and constantly offers water and snacks and bathroom breaks to make sure you're completely comfortable and entertained, especially for the long hours you will spend at the salon for hair coloring. I've gotten my hair dyed many times and I couldn't find a salon that would do my hair just the way I wanted - but I finally have! I won't trust my hair with anyone but her from now on, I will for sure be coming back to her for all my hair needs and I highly recommend her. read more
