I debated writing this review for some time because I understand how impactful reviews can be to businesses, so I tend to leave them only if I have 5 stars to give.
In this case, I decided it would be unfair to let others get duped out of money by this 'business'. It doesn't seem like any one manages this Yelp account (like every other aspect of the business- aside from the credit card swiper), but I hope others in the area find it helpful before they get shafted.
I came here based on an employee referral, which was probably my first mistake. I should have read reviews and asked others if they had heard of this place beforehand, but I didn't, and here we are.
I paid $360.00 for 6 sessions of laser-lipo, and in short I only went in for 2 sessions. For my third session, they wanted to give me less machines then what I had initially paid for because they had 'accidentally' double booked my appointment with someone else, and apparently the other client was more important. After realizing no one here knew what they were doing, and that the 'technicians' weren't properly licensed or accredited, I asked the owner (Jennifer) for a refund. She started off very nice, offering other services instead, then claiming she could only give a store credit - which lets be honest, why in the world would I want a store credit? I wanted no part in whatever was going on here. She then went on to say she was going to sue me?? (still waiting for the lawsuit) I'm not sure exactly for what she'd be suing me for, but I can just assume that she couldn't take my honesty? I went about disputing it with my CC, and although the merchant herself never refunded me any part of my $360.00, my credit card company went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue and credit me back the money I was scammed out of. Side Note: The owner also decided to falsely state to my CC company that I had basically told her the reason I was disputing the charge was because I was strapped for cash, which I found particularly l-a-u-g-h-a-b-l-e.
Aside from the terrible service and threats of suit, this place is a daycare. I can only assume the children laughing and screaming throughout the location are the children of the owner? Not exactly the ambiance you want for this particular setting.
The good news is: I tested this place out, so you don't have to. Spend a little extra money and go to somewhere reputable, clean, kid-free and pleasant. It's in your best benefit. ;) read more
