I reached out to SMILE PERFECT DENTAL STUDIO and asked why did they send me to a dental practice that did NOT accept MY insurance? The gentleman in the office, returned MY CALL ASAP, only to tell ME A BIG FAT LIE!!! He said his office DO NOT DO EXTRACTIONS!!! Which SURPRISED ME, since on my initial visit and Xrays and exam, my next appointment was to have the teeth they looked at, extracted!!! When he told me they don't do extractions. I went to their website and YES, THEY DO PERFORM EXTRACTIONS!!!! He called me just to LIE to me!!! Why, I'm STILL TRYING TO FIGURE THAT OUT! I won't even get into being left in the dental chair on my back, for almost 2 HOURS!!! TWO hours without one person coming back in to explain to me what was happening. The day before my appointment, I paid $59 for a consultation because I was experiencing dental pain. I was told to return the next day to continue with the treatment. Unfortunately, I arrived 12 minutes late to my appointment and the staff refused to see me. Even after explaining that I was in pain and that I had already paid for the consultation the day before, they canceled my appointment and told me I would have to wait another full week to be seen. Because of the pain I am experiencing, I cannot wait another entire week for treatment. I now have to seek care at an emergency dental clinic to address this problem. Unfortunately, this also means I lost the $59 I paid for the consultation, since I was ultimately unable to receive treatment at this office. I understand that clinics have schedules to follow, but refusing to see a patient in pain over a 12-minute delay felt extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional, especially after I had already paid and was asked to return the next day. I expected more understanding and compassion from a healthcare provider. Sadly, this experience made me feel like patients are treated more like appointments on a schedule than people who may actually be suffering.
