I had never had surgery on my mouth and I was in shock!! And nervous as hell, but as if God had sent me from heaven, as soon as the Dr. came into the room he introduced himself and began to explain to me point by point with the smallest detail and without the slightest rush my anxiety disappeared. Thus, there isn't anything a dentist can tell me that I haven't already heard. That being said, it's really hard for me to find a dentist I like. Queue, The Bite Dental. Being that it is 2018, I found them on Instagram. I liked the decor, the attitude, etc., so I called and made an appointment. They emailed me the paperwork to fill out beforehand and send back. Great. I actually appreciate this, because who wants to sit around and fill out paperwork at 9:00AM? I met with Dr. E, the general dentist. Very sweet woman, but knows when to be serious. She recommended treatments for me, and gave me advice. Never tried to upsell me any treatment she didn't deem necessary. Susan their dental hygienist is an angel. Extremely charismatic and knows her stuff. I've gone to hygienist who recommend deep cleanings and full mouth debridement that weren't needed. My only qualm is their hours. They're open M-F from 9:00AM-5:00PM which makes it difficult for corporate employees to get appointments. Hopefully they'll open up Saturdays in the near future to cater to that crowd. But if you're in the market for a new dentist, who knows the latest technologies and is honest. The dentists at The Bite Dental are the dentists for you!

For instance, during early appointments (7:30 am and so on), there's no receptionist at the front desk. Despite ringing the bell, no one comes out to welcome or acknowledge you. I have had to wait more than 15-20 minutes several times for someone to notice my presence. Additionally, there's a constant push to have x-rays taken every visit, even though patients have current x-rays. This feels unnecessary and repetitive. The hygienist, Mayte, is exceptional. She is attentive, respectful, caring, welcoming, highly skilled, and professional. However, the office needs to improve its responsiveness to phone calls and messages. It takes several attempts to reach someone and get a response. Also, the appointment reminders are overwhelming. After confirming the appointment via email or text, the system continues to send multiple confirmation requests (3-5 times). The system needs to be fine-tuned to limit confirmations to just once or twice. This is going to affect their business if they continue in this manner. I am already searching for another dentist.

Changing charges afterward is misleading and unfair, especially to patients who may not fully understand dental billing or insurance procedures. I am deeply concerned that these practices take advantage of patients and create confusion that results in increased charges. Healthcare should never feel like a money-making scheme where patients are pressured or misled into paying more than what was originally agreed upon. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to ensure transparency, ethical billing practices, and patient protection, particularly with regard to practices that take advantage of insurance coverage and place an unfair financial burden on patients--especially vulnerable elderly individuals.

Not only is he a great orthodontist but he is also so friendly and happy all the time. The same goes for his staff. From the girls in the front to the ones that attend the patients ( I don't know their technical name.) I have no complaints about Naidu Orthodontics. I went with Invisalign over traditional braces because I am in my 30s and I rather not have something that was so noticeable ( either choice would have cost me the same ). I recently completed my Invisalign treatment and it took me about 2 years. ( keep in mind that not all teeth move at the same rate so it might take more or less time for someone else) I was also very disciplined and wore my trays the required 22 hrs a day. You can take comfort in knowing that Naidu dedicates time to answer and address any questions or concerns you may have. I never once felt rushed during my appointments.
