DECEPTIVE PRACTICES! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION! PLEASE READ!…read more I went online to schedule a virtual consultation at 1030 on May 30, 2024 at the Williamsburg location. I received an email and a text message with a GOOGLE chat link. I was given the option to conduct the consult via phone with no video. At around 1030, I received a phone call from Melissa Gonzalez. I informed her that I wanted a small tattoo removed. She asked me basic pedigree information and asked why I wanted it removed. She asked me to send her a photo while we were on the phone. I sent her the photo. She then provided me a quote, which she stated was the Memorial Day special and a discount for being a first responder. She tells me I can pay the full amount or enroll in a payment plan. I informed her that I would pay in full at the appointment. She told me she had an appointment for 1300 on May 31, 2024. I confirm the appointment time. She sends me a link to fill out the paperwork. The paperwork requests my Name, DOB, address, and e-mail, and then the next page is an in-depth medical history questionnaire asking you everything about medications, illnesses, medical conditions, and prior surgeries. I answered every question, e-signed it, and sent it back. Melissa stayed on the phone with me the entire time I filled out the application. When I completed and submitted it, she said that I would receive an FT link to speak with the Nurse practitioner. A few minutes later, I received an FT Telemedicine call from Allison Jaggard, NP. The call was very brief. She asked me about allergies to medication and a prior surgical procedure. When we concluded the call, I sent Melissa a message asking if I was confirmed for the appointment. She responded that I wasn't and said she would call me when she was done with a patient. She calls me back, and asks how the appointment went. Afterwards I again ask her if I am confirmed for May 31. She tells me that I have to PAY IN FULL BEFORE I CAN SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT! I never had a face-to-face meeting, never went to the office, and never met with anyone in the office, and she told me that appointments are only scheduled AFTER payment is received in full. So they expect someone to send them 800 dollars without even having a face-to-face meeting. At any point during the conversation, she could have informed me that payment was required beforehand, and SHE DID NOT! I messaged Melissa that I would NOT be scheduling an appointment. I asked her to delete my personal information and medical history, and she responded, "It is illegal for us to delete that information. It will not be used for anything besides your history shall you decide to have treatment." I called another laser removal place and asked if I had to make a payment upfront. The response was, "Why would we ask you for a payment, and we haven't even physically seen you to assess you"?

I bought a $50 facial promotion and signed up for the $380/month Refine & Enhance (4-month…read moreminimum). Been here for 2 months and enjoying it so far! Pros: - Great location in Williamsburg. The space is clean, quiet, and comfortable. - Friendly and attentive staff who take their time to answer questions and provide guidance on your skin concerns. Whenever I have scheduling issues, I email them and they call/email back to me within 24 hours. You get plenty of notifications and reminders on your upcoming sessions. - Their laser facials address all my concerns: acne and blemishes, hyperpigmentation and melasma, redness and rosacea, fine lines and wrinkles, and congestion and dullness. My $50 promo covered their Signature Laser Facial and Rejuvenator Peel. The session took about 15-20 minutes; the laser felt like a really hot heat lamp on my skin, and the peel stung like vinegar hot sauce for about 2 minutes. I had to avoid sweating and sun exposure for 24 hours, but my face wasn't red at all and felt great. The Power Resurfacing Facial and Resurfacing - Neck & Chest (VV) was super painful, similar to laser hair removal or rubber bands snapping on your face. I actually teared up! I recommend listening to music or podcasts to distract yourself from the pain. My face, chest, and neck had hot red stripes for a full day. My chest had small bumps, and they recommended hydrocortisone. They provide an aftercare card with these instructions: keep reapplying hyaluronic acid to boost results; for the first 24 hours, don't shower or wash your hair, and use only a gentle cleanser (no active ingredients) plus the Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask; for 72 hours (3 days), avoid heat like hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and tough workouts, and don't wear sunscreen or makeup; for one week, skip active ingredients like vitamin C, AHAs, and retinoids, and don't physically scrub or exfoliate your skin. I suggest buying affordable hyaluronic acid, hydrocortisone, hyaluronic face masks, and an ice massager from Amazon. - They are very strict on recovery time and will not schedule anything earlier than what is medically allowed, which is around 14 days between sessions. - SL also offers microneedling (SkinTox) at $145 member price. Will update this review once I try it in 2 weeks! Overall, SL is the most affordable option for medical-grade treatments. Highly recommend!

One nice girl then comped me laser facials for chest and neck to make up for my loss, however upon going to my next appointment the comped service was now $125, so I didn't get it after all. Then I call and ask to pause my membership as my 90 year old grandma is in the hospital and was told my situation would get escalated to the manager, it's been 3 weeks and I haven't been called back. GlowbyPhoebe (Fibby Harush) does injections here and I will also post conversations me and her had because I tried to resolve this well actually she reached out to me first after I posted the first review reviews on Google. I will be also speaking on news outlets about this, this week. I am leaving this review because I want other people considering cosmetic injections to have the opportunity to make an informed decision before booking. I went to Phoebe (Fibby Harush/GlowByPhoebe (only 2 years experience as an RN) for facial filler because I wanted a very specific, natural-looking result addressing a lift around the eye area. I provided photographs showing the appearance I was trying to achieve and explained where I wanted the filler placed (below and above my cheekbones), she never explained she could not address that area verbally at all. She confirmed about a week later, after I realized that the swelling is not going down and it felt like she injected into my cheekbones that she says that that's the only place that she injects so why wasn't I told that when I was there in my face? The filler was placed in areas of my cheekbones which I told explicitly to her that I do not want any filler in my cheekbones because I already have naturally high cheekbones. She made my face look significantly different from how it looked before treatment. I was extremely unhappy with the result and felt that the filler had been placed too prominently in the cheekbone area rather than achieving the more subtle correction I was seeking. I paid $800 in cash in addition to a $352 Groupon payment which waa taxed an extra 57$? I never been taxed before for Groupon. I did not receive a receipt for the $800 cash payment at the time. I have documentation regarding the transaction and the treatment. What was particularly upsetting was that I ultimately had to return to have the filler dissolved because I was so unhappy with the outcome. The fact that I had to undergo another procedure to correct a cosmetic treatment I had just paid for was extremely disappointing and stressful. Also I want to know that as of today I still feel lumps in my naso labial folds, and my line on the right side is extremely deeper than before I ever went there initially. I am posting my before-and-after photographs so that people can see the difference for themselves. I believe photographs are more useful than simply saying that I disliked the result, because they allow potential clients to compare the appearance before the treatment with the result afterward. I understand that cosmetic procedures can have different results for different people, and I am not claiming that everyone will have the same experience I did. This review is specifically about my experience. For me, the most important issue is that I went into this treatment with a particular aesthetic goal, it left my face completely aesthetically disabled . I would strongly recommend that anyone considering treatment do extensive research, carefully document their desired outcome, obtain receipts for every payment, and are completely comfortable with the treatment plan before proceeding.
