Jane is not new to the facility as she has had her physical therapy business on site for 10 years. They are great people, very friendly, and open to hearing ideas from members. I have been a member since the club opened and I wish them continued success. For me, the club is very convenient and I enjoy working out there. It's a very friendly club with many long time members. Great classes, instructors, and trainers and expecting there will be a lot of new classes on the schedule soon. Summit has a great culture and it is like a big community. If you are looking for a gym, it's worth checking out! You may have to search for the location if you don't know the area. It's located on Wiggins Ave in an office park. Great place and looking forward to all the improvements the new owners have planned for it.

Each class has only 6 members (occasionally 7), which enables the trainers to really get to know the members and their strengths and weaknesses. If you have an injury one week, the trainers will change your workout to accommodate your limits while still giving you a full body workout that will keep you challenged and getting fitter by the day. Always professional and knowledgeable, the trainers set the bar based on each individual's current fitness level taking their goals into consideration. In the past 5 months my body fat percentage has dropped considerably, my muscle mass has increased and I have consistently lost weight. Most importantly, I feel wonderful! I attended a 2nd Birthday Party at MyGym last June and immediately decided to book this venue for…read moremy daughter's 2nd Birthday in March. Leading up to the party they were super easy to work with. The day of the party is where they really shined. We had Taylor and Craig running the party. Craig was incredibly fun!! The party starts off as free play, then they do a circle time, followed by bubbles and a parachute activity, a puppet show, an obstacle course and at the end the put my daughter on a rocking horse in a giant wagon and paraded her around to music while chanting Happy Birthday Kendall. Craig's energy throughout each element of the party was off the charts. The kid's absolutely loved him. There were 15 kids and very few of them knew each other. However due to the structure of the party and the high energy during each activity all the kids laughed together and had a great time. I had moms contact me and tell me that their kids said it was the best party they ever attended. All that being said, one of the kids arrived and immediately bumped his eyelid on the edge of a bench (it was a freak accident) and blood was legit squirting like a sprinkler. It was really intense. Taylor who was the other MyGym staff running the party was extremely attentive. She helped the child and his mother for over 40 minutes. This child is three years old and is diagnosed with autism. I called 911 and the Burlington police officer who is on a special care unit arrived. He is specially trained for responding to emergencies involving children on the autism spectrum. I cannot say enough positive things about this officer. He came in and calmed down both my friend and her son. Also, Taylor handled this child like he was her own. She really stepped up to the plate. So my review is this, the staff at MyGym are equipped to handle pretty much anything and they throw a really super fun party. It's worth every penny!!! As someone new to the area, it's been such a warm and welcoming place. Not only are the classes super fun and interactive (they switch things up every week!), but we've also made some great new friends -- both moms and babies! The staff is amazing, and the energy in the room is always so positive. You can tell they really care about creating a fun, engaging experience for both the little ones and the parents. I'm so thankful my husband found My Gym when I was just 3 months postpartum -- I had no idea there were even classes for babies that young! If you're on the fence, don't be. Scott listens to what I am saying about my pain/comfort levels, and keeps a close eye when I am doing the excercises out on the floor. Everyone here is friendly and extremely helpful. This is the only place I would go to rehab my damaged parts.

Most of my experience over the years is with Al Visnick but I've also seen Judy & Todd who are fantastic too. Most recently they weren't under my insurance but I went there out of pocket anyway because I don't trust anyone but Al Visnick to work on my spine. I have chronic issues with my spine and neck, exacerbated by my profession. Among his many talents, Al is an expert on the spine. Not only did he completely adjust my thoracic spine and neck to be better than ever, but he trained me to change my working environment and setup as well as my postural habits to the point where my chronic pain has essentially disappeared so long as I follow his advice. And because of the great work he did on my neck and spine, along with the simple at-home exercises he taught me to maintain it, I am able to very quickly get back to being pain free if I ever slip back into old habits. He's taught me to manage this essential part of my life so that I can work longer and more productively without any pain. I am forever grateful to him for this as I'd not be able to do my job without it. In addition to Al being a miracle worker, there's Todd, who is meticulous and amazing. My husband went to him for his chronic back issues. He used to regularly throw his back out and suffer a lot each time, but not only did Todd fix it every time, he taught my husband how to avoid re-injuring himself, as well as how to do maintenance and recovery exercises and stretched at home to the point that my husband hasn't had to go in for many years now. I've also gone to Judy a few times and find her extremely helpful not just for the physical therapy but also for her attentiveness, the questions she asks, and the incredible advice she gives. She had a gift for honing in on things you should be doing differently to reduce chronic pain, so even one session with her is really helpful.

When I entered my 50s I was getting significant shoulder pain, especially at extensions. When the exercises alone weren't enough they got me to talk with a doctor who advised one cortisone shot. The subsequent physical therapy was transformative. I never had been to a Barre class before but they took the time to introduce me to the instructor and make sure I was set up properly for class. These workouts are tough but the instructors always share modifications for any level. No matter what time I've come, classes are always full. They have a play area for kids and two very clean bathrooms with amenities perfect for when you're in need. I love that they end class with a breathing exercise. I absolutely plan on being a regular here.
