I took it out to them and they fixed it since it was still under warranty and now it is leaking again. A month or 2 later, the back up camera stopped work most of the time. In August, the AC stopped working. In September, I found out my ball joint and control arm on the passenger side front, HAD to be replaced. They said it was going to about $400-500 more than the place I actually took it. A place I trust. Now with the coolant appearing to be leaking again, I feel like they did a temporary fix in 2024. Sure it lasted a year and a half but it should have lasted much longer if fixed correctly. Do not buy from them unless you want to take a chance.

They have lied about many things and treated me with disrespect in many ways. They saw me coming. They took money from a single mom and her mother. We bought the car outright thinking that would help with the process in all reality it made it worse because they think that they can wash their hands of us now that they are done. Update. I have proof for everything I am about to say, in writing from formal businesses including but not limited to the department of motor vehicles. 1) they falsified an inspection form. The car did not pass inspection due to four bad rotors and 4 bad pads. Meaning they sent me out in a car with cracked rotors, bad brakes! 2) the car was not a pre-owned certified even though it was stated many times and was even on their website and in paperwork. 2) my warranty was supposed to be an extended warranty instead they avoided the 90-day warranty the minute I bought the extended. 3) I did not receive the title for over 2 months. I had to physically go back into the office and ask for it after being told it would be sent to my house. 4) the title was not in the dealer's name, in fact it had four sellers and buyers before me on the title. 5) the car was sold to me when I had a lien on it and when I finally picked up the title it did have a lien release, thank God but they still sold me a car that had a lien on it.. 5) after begging them to fix the brakes because they sold me a car with bad brakes they only fixed the front pads and told me the rest of them didn't squeak so I was good. Once again I walked off the lot and went and got it inspected by Toyota and that was a lie. All the other breaks were still bad. They also told me that in 6 weeks of owning that I must have broken the rotors and I have a letter from two different mechanics stating that I could not have done that damage in 6 weeks without damaging many other parts of the car. 6) it's all could have been avoided if I could have had it checked out while buying it but they only gave me 15 minutes and since they are located in a remote area I was unable to get the car checked. 7) If I tried to speak with them about any of this I was screamed at by Dimitri, the owner and told that they were watching me on camera as I filled out paperwork to let them fix only the front brake pads. And by screaming at me, I mean physically literally yelled at. 8) when I sent a list similar to this to the general manager he just said he understood and the brakes weren't squeaking so I'm fine. I asked about the title and there was no response. I asked about to falsify inspection sticker and there was no response. 9) because they were so late giving me the title, I had to get a new inspection, which it failed. I then had to pay $300 plus to get my brakes done before my car would pass inspection so that I can get it legal. Therefore I drove an illegal car for 2 weeks after their 2-month temp tags we're expired. 10) this is a decent car according to Toyota despite the fact that I had to put new brakes on it and I need to change every fluid. I did overpay and I was well aware I was overpaying I just wanted this car. It was all the money I had in the world between me and my mom together.I feel very scared for someone who gets their title on time and walks away with their falsified inspection because you don't know what's going to happen. If I had not found out that the inspection had been falsified and the car did not in fact pass, then I would be driving around on bad breaks at this moment. When would I have found out? When I wrecked? Or when the brakes froze on the highway? It's a very scary thing that A car lot can say that they have won all these awards under a different owner and take the awards as their own. It's also very scary that they are allowed to falsify inspections and be unsafe.

Year 1 they call me and tell me I have been behind for months and that for 9 months due to my pay schedule, I would have to pay more to get it current and be fine. So I do. Year 2 call me with the same bullshit. So I pay more for 5 months. Year 3 they call again same thing. Every year in January too by the way. Same thing. So I finally get paperwork that changes my date which for 3 years they never even mention. I am still not even half paid off either even though my payments have just gone up and up. I was also told and signed the contract giving me free oil changes for life of the vehicle. They literally stopped doing it with no communication or nothing then lied on the phone about an email even though John in CNAC said on the recorded line no one knew. And then quickly rephrased when I mentioned the recorded line. I do not have this email. They harass and train staff to absolutely treat you like garbage and protect the company. I hope they get shut down and all those assholes are unable to be hired. You guys are trash and I hope yall burn in hell. They have done nothing and are ripping people off and laughing about it after.

My overall visit was a bit rocky dealing with a bratty, tired, one year old. But never once did i hear any complaints, weird looks, ect. They we're very kind, gave me time if i needed to deal with her moods. They even waved and tried to talk! Sarah even gave her snacks! It all meant a lot to me considering i was not planning on being there for more than 2 hours! i love the car they offered me and will definitely recommend others! if i could give a higher rating i would! Thank you to everyone that helped a single(ish) mother buying her first car!

My wife and I purchased a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer from the Springfield Missouri lot. We have previously purchased a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero from the same lot and had a great experience with the service and kindness of the previous people who worked there. This time around not so much. They didn't even bother to clean or detail the vehicle. We were in need of a good vehicle and came back to the place we were treated great before but we were treated like dirt this time around and very rushed. The manager had to take the vehicle to get gas so we could test drive it and informed me that it was making a noise due to the tires being worn out and they were going to put new ones on. When I was checking the front end to see if it was due damage to the front end, since the front bumper had some damage, I saw that the front sway bar bracket on the passenger side was bent with no rubber bushing in it and the top bolt was broken off in the frame. The driver side bracket was loose with both bolts backed out about halfway from what I could see with about a quarter of an inch space between the bracket and the frame at both bolts. It looked like someone had started to put it together and forgot to finish it. I informed the manager at the time, before we even signed the paperwork about the issue and she said that they would take care of it too. I also informed her that the wrench light came on during the test drive, which I found out later is an issue in the drivetrain, and she said they will take care of it as well. Come to find out the tone ring on the cv axle that the speed sensor reads is cracked and broken and loose on the hub of the cv shaft. When I took it to get the new tires the person who they called to get the purchase order from threw a fit about the new tires but they were already done so they went ahead with it. While they were on the phone with the car lot they informed the car lot that the front sway bar issue was dangerous and needed to be taken care of. The tire shop could not get it in so they sent me to a place right around the corner from CarHop and they said they would not do it that it needed to be done at a frame shop since the bolt was broken off in the frame. At this point my wife who works in the Emergency Room of the hospital contracted Covid and we had to deal with her getting the covid pneumonia and recovering from it. Then as she was getting well enough to go back to work I got covid and the covid pneumonia and almost died from it and had to spend a week in the Covid ICU. I took about a month and a half to recover where I was able to get out again and do things. Since I live 40 miles or so away I could not go back and forth to try to find a shop in Springfield and I took it to several in my local area and they were either denied or they would not do it because it was either too hard to do or they would not do business with CarHop. The only one in the area who was willing to help us and deal with it was B.A.T. Boys in Branson. After several months and attempts to get it repaired and covered by CarHop as was the agreement now we have been denied over and over again for repairing an unsafe vehicle we were sold and lied to about by the manager and salesperson. I am retired and disabled, but I am also a trained mechanic both in automotive and diesel applications, and I plan to do the work myself at this point. I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau and the CarHop Facebook page and any other sites I can to post the pictures of the unsafe vehicle that we were sold and let everyone know that they would be better off going to ANY other car lot and do business with them. You will not get any more business from me or my family after this piece of crap is paid off.

For convenience I finally closed that account and opened one with Guaranty. The employees here are all incredibly friendly and helpful. I make deposits a couple times a week and most of them have learned my name and greet me upon entry. You just don't get that with the larger financial establishments. I recently had a problem after ordering checks that never arrived to my address. I reordered them and put a stop payment on the ones that were mailed. Typically there is a fee for that however, much to my surprise, they were kind enough to waive that for me. The hours are convenient and there is an ATM just outside where I can make deposits after hours. I can't speak highly enough about Guaranty Bank and their employees. Reminds me of my local bank in Portland.
