Pros: Great variety of beers on tap hefty pours on the tasting package Regulars come here to hang Plenty of seating Extremely chill...we brought a game and were able to play while we enjoyed our drinks Cons: If you have dietary restrictions you will starve; I have a gluten allergy and could only order the wings as the menu is limited to one brisket sandwich, wings, or pizza. They also did not have gluten free or cauliflower crust Many of there beers on tap are not updated on the menu so unless you inquire with the staff you will not know as I ordered a mead that was not included on the menu This is a self serve place, you go up to order and they bring it out to you I will not go out of my way to visit again as we left hungry and then had to make another stop; however if in the area would return again. if ocmpared to Jailbreak Brewery I would choose jailbreak everytime.

Halloween Happening Fundraising Event…read more Definitely for those under the age of 8 or so 10 if you restrict TV/movies etc from your kids and they haven't been predisposed to certain things. Not bad for $15 per person They don't offer any discounts not even military.. You walk up the paved walkway purchase your ticket ($15pp), I think under 6 is free but don't quote me on that. And you wait in line. We waited about 45mins before our group of roughly 20 went into the Haunted Barn walked down a lil hill to the mini maze, and we all loaded up in the trailer for the hayride. Please dress for the occasion, it was 43 degrees out and they don't have space heaters outdoors or fire pits etc to keep you toasty wok you wait. Although a fire pit and selling s'mores kit would've been another selling point. They did have apple cider, canned sodas chips candy and popcorn for sale. I'd suggest pack your own snacks and drinks. Oh and they had glow sticks for the kids. Organization could've been a bit better, lighting to the restroom would've been nice and more scary props. And that god awful smoky smell from the fog machine or whatever was horrendous like old fireworks just bad.

Tori's attention to detail, flexibility, and constant communication helped ensure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The staff truly enjoyed the experience--from the venue setup, menu, and the wine tasting. Thank you again for your partnership throughout this process. It was a pleasure working with you, and I look forward to collaborating on future events. Warm regards, Jackee

I'd rate this a 3.5 if I could. It was definitely better than a 3 but not quite a 4…read more Great vibe. The staff were all great. The views were lovely. We got a Chef's Whim board which was fun and filling. We also got the Winemakers and Library flights. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wines. I'm not giving them 4 stars for a few reasons. I wish I could build my own flight because each flight choice had wines I didn't like. I also wish there were more menu items. And, the bench seating cushions were worn through almost to the stuffing which was really surprising that they would let them get that bad at a restaurant like this. That said, we had a great meal with a great server. I don't think we'll be back though.

We reserved a private space with a private tasting, which made the day feel extra special and perfect for a large group. For many of our guests, it was their first time visiting this location, and everyone had such a great time. One of the co-founders, Greg, personally led our tasting and was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and checked on us throughout the afternoon to make sure everything was going smoothly. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also appreciated that some friends who don't drink were still able to enjoy themselves thanks to the non-alcoholic options. The property itself is beautiful with scenic views, plenty of space to relax, and such a peaceful atmosphere. We had amazing weather the day we visited, which made it even more memorable. If you are looking for a great place for a birthday, celebration, group outing, or just a relaxing day with friends, I highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

I had an awesome first experience at Rocklands…read more I joined a group of 15-20 on the first really nice Saturday of the spring season; it was fairly crowded but we got there right at opening to secure a large section of shaded picnic tables. There was PLENTY of seating still - lots of large and small tables scattered throughout the property. They also have seating inside the winery at a small bar. The wine itself was really nice; we had several bottles of the rose at the table. It was light, crisp, and easy to sip in the nice weather. I was impressed that they also had 2 non alcoholic wines; the non drinkers in our group were happy to have some options made just for them (which were delicious also). There is a third party pizza business that had food offerings; we had many different types of their pizza which were all good. Very smart to have a food option for folks to enjoy while we sip our wine. Overall, the property is wonderfully maintained and the wines meet all expectations. I'd recommend giving this spot a try if you're looking for a nice winery north of the beltway!

The host Sydney from The Plot Twist did a great job hosting and the ladies from Linganore were excellent in helping through out the class! There is a small parking lot that for everyday purposes is a perfect size. The bathrooms are well maintained and individual bathrooms. I returned another day to try their wines and was not disappointed! I enjoyed them so much that I took home 3 different bottles which me and my girlfriends all enjoyed. I'll be back for their Caribbean festival and can not wait!

Review for Autumn Reggae Wine & Music Festival…read more I have attended Wine festivals at Linganore before, but more than 10 years ago. This was our first time attending in a while and our first in the Fall. The tickets have tiers, VIP, Early Bird (enter at 6am), and General Admission (enter at 9am). By the time we decided to attend, which was the month before the festival, only the Early Bird and General Admission were available. The event started at 10am with a DJ, and 2 Reggae bands (one @ 12pm and the other @ 3pm). Attendees with tents on one side and everyone else on the other side. There were many vendors available - I even saw someone doing massages and another doing henna. Tastings to be had; Bottles to buy; Food to eat; Fun everywhere. We had a great time attending and all the employees we came across were so helpful. Parking is very uniform. We will be back to attend another of their festivals as they have different ones throughout the year.
