I have unfortunately given a lot of money to Corvette Mods over the past year, and in every instance where there was a minor issue with the order - something needed to be modified, cancelled or returned - their customer service was absolutely horrible to deal with! The return that triggered this review was for a C3 dash clock which has a very general description on their website. After it arrived, it turned out that the clock doesn't fit within the OEM gauge cluster and needed to be returned. I had to ship it back to the OEM (Auto Meter) and was then told I would be refunded minus a 25% restocking fee, less original shipping cost, less another shipping adjustment! In this case, I spent $100 on the wrong clock due to their inadequate description on the website and have received a $30 refund after wasting 8 weeks of my time! They offered me a coupon code that was invalid. When I let them know, they said I was "cheap." Story: I recently purchased my first corvette and have been overwhelmed with with the kindness, helpfulness and good-nature of the Corvette community that includes clubs, groups and merchants. That was until I experienced the abhorrent experience of corvettemods.com. I was shopping for a simple sun-shade that was fit for my C3 Corvette. Corvette Mods was selling it for $89.99. It was "on sale" for $69.99. Let's be honest - Either price is ridiculous. I decided to add the item to my cart. Upon checkout, I noticed that there was a $25 shipping charge! They seem to believe that a sunshade requires freight shipping. LOL I did not follow through with the order, and then received a follow up email from them asking why I did not complete the order. They also offered a coupon code. I tried this - The code was invalid. I replied to the email and let them know the code was invalid, and got a snarky reply that the item is on sale. By this time I purchased the item from another vendor and let them know it should not be this difficult. The reply from the company said that "it is not difficult" and that "I am cheap." I now understand the abysmal ratings that these clowns have with the BBB, Yelp, etc. Absolutely brilliant sales force here. LOL read more

I placed an order with Corvette Mods on 6/9/22. I bought a few Corvette items for my husband for Father's Day. I did not receive the merchandise in time for Father's Day, and part of the order has still not been received to this day. I've been emailing them asking where is my shirt, why don't you give me updates, when will I receive the merchandise. They respond that the shirt is on back order & they don't know when it will come in. Fine, I asked them to cancel the order & refund my money. They said a cancellation isn't guaranteed. Then after 3 emails back & forth they agree to refund my money but deducted another $9.99 for shipping charges because now that I cancelled this portion of the order the total dropped below the minimum purchase for free shipping. I ordered a carbon fiber dash overlay worth $159. Before the item was even shipped I asked for a cancelation. The company said it was shipped already, but hadn't provided a tracking number. One month later and many follow ups they finally provide a tracking number, which is a number that goes to Texas, not California where I live. I ask them once more for a refund, and they deny. I then say I will start a dispute via my credit card provider. They refund only $110 out of the $159, and threathen to send me to collections within 48 hours and make ridiculous claims of cyber theft. Then they added a reoccurring charge of $116 in retaliation for reporting it as fraud to the card company. Working with the credit card to get a refund on the other charge of $96. I found out that Corvette Mods doesn't even stock most of their items and they act as a broker and order your part for other companies after you order. Since they were the only company selling those we did not have a lot of options and went ahead and placed our order paying $202 for the part. After the part arrived we installed it on the car but since there were other issues the car came back in mid April. After looking at the other issues it turns out the blend door actuator is not working. I therefor asked to return it and either get another one or receive a refund. The person who answered the first time was rude to my partner and treated her as if she knew nothing and was wasting his time. We finally got a notification of shipment two weeks after ordering. Only one of the three parts arrived. When I called customer service I was told that an item on the order was custom, something not stated anywhere on the site or the original order receipt e-mail. They couldn't tell which of the parts was custom when I asked and told me to sit tight and wait till 30 business days had passed before I should be worried. This is a crock. We would have cancelled the entire order if we had known the time line they seem to think is okay. We could have gotten all of the parts from other vendors for less money, had them already, and not been poorly treated by company representatives. Don't spend your money here. They shipped me the wrong part, (Supposed to be made in USA, but was made in China and didn't fit my car), charged me a whopping $44.98 in shipping, was rude during the return process, made me pay $34.95 for return shipping, and then they charged me a restocking fee! So it cost me $94.93 (shipping, return shipping and restocking fee) because Corvette Mods shipped the wrong item. Why is this my expense? Corvette Mods sucks. They have a return policy but will not adjust it for Covid 19. I purchased a luggage rack for my 1971 corvette and they sent the wrong one. I could not have it installed due to the Covid 19 quarantine shutdown. When the shops finally opened and I opened the package, I saw it was the wrong year. After much email and calling, they agreed to take it back if I shipped it AND they took a 25% restocking fee (on a package not even opened) That would have been more than the thing costs. After filling out the request refund form, I received approval for a refund and I was given an address to ship the cover back to. No paid return shipping? After about a week I received my refund. I spent $216.98 for the cover. My refund was for $142.46. So lets break it down. I paid $40 for return shipping and restocking fee was $74.52.That's a total of $114.52 out of pocket. I hate corvette mods! Their customer service is absolutely horrible. Their returns charges a 10-35% restocking fee so buyer beware even if the item you buy was because they misrepresent the items listing. I returned an item to them and they kept the item and did not refund my money. This item was over $400! On top of that they cancelled an order for $250 dollars that had a $100 store credit with them and did not refund the money I spent on that order either. I spent over $5,000 with them in the September through November 2021 and they still screwed me over! When I emailed them to tell them I was unhappy with them they terminated my account/order access. My wife ordered me a spoiler for my c6 for my birthday. After waiting for a week for an "in stock" item, we contacted them as to where it was since hadn't shipped. We were told they needed to check with the manufacturer on the eta. We were then given a day and it never showed. Contacted them again and were given a new date. Still didn't arrive. Finally it showed up a few days later. I open the box to find the wrong piece. They sent the spoiler but it was gray. In their Q&A section they had answered a customers question on what color the unpainted version was and they said it was black. Cool, because that's what I wanted, but I got a gray piece. I contacted customer support in India I believe and they told me to send a picture in to prove it's the wrong piece. I sent that in yesterday and am waiting for their response. Personally this have been one of the shittiest experiences I have had with an online purchase before. Avoid these guys at all costs. AVOID. They sent me a radiator with weld spatter all over it, damage to the fins, and damage to the transmission line hookup which would have let transmission fluid spray everywhere. They took it back, then charged my a restocking fee and some trumped up shipping charge on a "free shipping" item. Not only it the hardware they sell unsafe and extremely poor quality knockoff garbage, but their unethical business practices land them as my #1 worst ever. Bought a Carter Mechanical Fuel Pump for a Chevy Small Block. The main reason I purchased it from them was because it was the only stock fuel pump for the Chevy small block on the WEB that said it was Made in the USA on their website. All other sites had fuel pumps that said made in China. When I received it the small box was totally covered with black packing tape and there was a hole in the box were part of the fuel pump arm broke though. When I removed the packing tape from the box it said on it "Made in China" When I called them up and told them about what their website said about Made in USA they just said go on line to their website and fill out the forms for a return. I Order top panel solar shade- black it was supposed to bet cut to fit but when I tried to install on my 2019 Grandsport it was not the right size it was bigger by at least 2 inches on all sides. I tried to make it work because of the poor return policy I found out about. It failed so I tried to return it and paid for postage and they would not honor a refund.
