Cort Furniture is a hidden gem and the people that work there are the jewels in the crown. I was in dire need of new furniture fast. My previous furniture was included in my coop sale. So, now what. I didn't have an unlimited budget but wanted quality furniture and then through the magic of the internet I stumbled upon the Cort Furniture website. I looked at the pictures of the furniture with the listed prices and thought, this is too good to be true. It wasn't. When I walked in Angie immediately greeted me and let me know she was there if I needed any help. And boy, did she help me. Angie has wonderful taste and through her assistance I was able to furnish my living room and bedroom for under 1,600. This price included a beautiful sectional couch, 8x10 luscious rug and bamboo bedroom set. They really care at Cort furniture. I forgot to buy a bedframe while I was there and the manager brought it to me on his way home. I don't know anywhere else where you can get this kind of service, caring and value. I can't wait to go back and discover more design rich items because there inventory is ever changing. read more

I rented an apartment in streeterville and used Cort to furnish my apartment. Allie Flando took great care of me. She customized my package to fit my needs. I highly suggest Cort furniture if you are looking to use a rental furniture company. Cort is inexpensive and high quality! They deliver everything and assemble it together. I walked into a furnished apartment!! Thank you Allie and the rest of the Cort team for making my apartment feel like home!! read more

Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy from these liars. My dad purchased furniture to be delivered "at noon or so today". 5:30 comes around and still no delivery. My dad emailed and Richard Highberger responds, "Our delivery man quit. Try www.pickupnow.com". No I'm sorry for the inconvenience, no I'm sorry for not contacting you to tell you that your furniture isn't coming. Just a figure it out yourself how you're going to get the furniture you've already paid for home. read more

The furniture we picked was certainly nice, but it better be for the price. The delivery and pick up teams were efficient and respectful. But there was no room to negotiate price for people that wanted a flexible schedule (one month was the same price as 3 months - what??!!!). And the pick up time was all messed up: the window was 1-4, but they didn't show up until 5. It made it difficult for me on my last day in Chicago with my kids - we even missed my oldest boy's karate class. There was no compensation for this issue. read more

I relocated internationally and my company uses CORT to rent furniture while employees belongings are in transit from overseas. I had a terrible experience with CORT every step of the way. The prices you see in the catalog seemed a little pricey but reasonable. We made our selections and sent it to the sales associate helping us. When we received the final estimate, the price had almost doubled the sum of the individual items in the catalog. They had layered on top some very hefty delivery fees, services fees, fees, fees, fees. Our order came out over $5,000 and all we had ordered was a couple of beds, a sofa and two armchairs, a dresser and mirror, and a dining room table and four chairs. We only needed it for a month. For $5,000 we could've nearly bought all of this brand new. Needless to say we expected the furniture to be very high quality. When it finally came, the furniture was setup in the respective rooms of our house and everything appeared in order. It wasn't long after they left that my wife sat down in one of the dining room chairs and immediately was struck with the stench of cigarette smoke. She has asthma and the smell immediately irritated her lungs. It was even strong for me and I don't have asthma. We immediately checked the other furniture and the dresser was the exact same. It didn't smell from the outside, but the insides of the drawers stunk so bad we couldn't put our clothes in them. We had to take the dining room chairs and dresser out to the garage because they were so foul. Furthermore, the two beds we received were obviously very cheap. They were akin to sleeping on concrete. Our guests had to go out and buy a mattress pillow top cover because they had back problems and couldn't sleep on the mattresses as they were. Lastly, when we called them to come pick up the furniture, we requested a morning pickup as we had other contractors working in the afternoon and didn't what the two teams in each other's way. They said the only way we can guarantee they can come in the morning is for us to pay another $200 fee. Otherwise, they will just come when they will. Even after their terrible service, they still tried to squeeze every last dollar out of this transaction. In hindsight, we never would've touched CORT with a ten-foot pole. read more

This place is awesome! Wide selection of great looking furniture. Prices are fair - especially comparing against other furniture stores nearby. Mark was very knowledgeable and even helped us get our purchase into our apartment a few blocks away. Highly recommend. read more

Very pathetic services and prices! Companies forget customer service when they grow. There was no support and they dont know how to retain a good customer. The new competitors are good and they lost a valuable customer. read more

My bf and I have just moved from NYC and needed new furniture. We walked in didn't know what we wanted, and left with a Queen bed, shelves, lamps, bar stools, fruit plates and other decorations!! Angie was a godsend. She knew exactly what we wanted, and was extremely flexible with separating bedroom sets for us, pick up times, pick up area. We wanted to buy more from CORT because Angie was really professional, fun, and amazing! read more

On Tues 2/20/18 I walked into CORT to work with Angie on getting furniture for my friend's daughter's room. I had searched their website that day and had an idea what I was looking for. Within 40 minutes, Angie Dunn had helped me locate everything, placed the order and set up delivery for that Friday. Such an easy experience. I've never purchased furniture faster! read more

I rented from Cort for many years. I found that their furniture was very poor Quality and actually quite outdated and disappointing. They are not Willing to,negotiate and will not even agree to,take their furniture back unless You spend thousands of dollars. do,yourself a favor and do,not rent from them. Lousy customer service. You are better off buying used furniture from Salvation Army! read more

I've heard of this place before but didn't considered them for my "redesign on a serious budget" home project. Internet researching brought me to Cort Furniture where I found EXACTLY what I needed. In fact, I discovered options! YES, options! Whoever heard of options with a serious budget? I am thrilled with my purchase, and even better - I don't have to hear my husbands mouth! SCREAMING "THANK YOU MARK!!!" read more

My family and I needed furniture for our entire condo. We walked around CORT furniture outlet every few days for months trying to decide which pieces were best suited for our unit. The entire staff was wonderful and helpful; however, Angie's customer service was the most excellent. She asked if we needed help, encouraged us to take our time without hassle, and she provided the best discounts. She also facilitated the delivery process and made it a quick, seamless, and convenient experience. CORT furniture has closed the Chicago outlet location and switched to fully online. We loved the online CORT shopping experience too! It was basic and straightforward. Even remotely during this pandemic, Angie has been available on call and willing to answer the phone anytime and and address all concerns and questions we had. Angie needs a promotion and she deserves it. The furniture is used, but all of it is very beautiful and cost efficient. The customer service we received from Angie and the CORT furniture staff is very valuable and we would rather shop CORT furniture with Angie rather than any name-brand or high quality new furniture store. Her attitude and communication skills are impeccable and we appreciate it! The delivery drivers were fantastic and very efficient and fast. They all have a great attitude and they assembled the furniture well. Thanks! God bless all of you at CORT Furniture as you continue to serve Chicagoland neighborhoods! Blessings! read more

This is the best place to go!!!!! I had a nightmare of an experience and Cort really went above and beyond to help fix everything for me. WAY TO GO MARK! I had ordered a table upwards of $2000 from a different furniture company and then was told it was lost in the mail (how that happens I have no idea) I was in tears. I had a big party planned and caterers ready to arrive in a matter of days and no table for my dining room. I drove to Cort to see if there was anything they could do. Mark not only found me a table, but worked it out where I was able to buy a table that would normally only be for rent. They had it in my home and ready just hours before caterers and decorators arrived for my husbands birthday. I AM SO GRATEFUL TO CORT FOR THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!! read more

My fiance and I were looking for furniture at very specific price points. Mark and his colleague took amazing care of us. He really hooked it up. We left with more than we came for and spent less $$ than expected. I kept suggesting cheaper looking couches if he couldnt hit my price point with my first choice and he wouldnt allow it. We left with my 1st choice coffee table, couch, nesting tables and 2 floor lamps all for the prices I wanted to pay!! He even threw in a couple night stands for my previous roommate so she wouldn't have to go hunt around the city on Craigslist for nightstands that she'd struggle to find transportation that they'd fit in...etc. There were many cheaper night stands that he could've offered her to throw in yet he STILL offered us the nicer night stands. She feels so special and we were treated like royalty. From greeting the 3 of us with waters and cokes to the amazing deal... I couldn't be happier and I wish I would've gotten more! Mark and everyone at cort was amazing. They are delivering and accommodating all of our furniture needs straight to our place. Go to cort clearance center for the best prices and service around everyone! ! Go go go!! read more
