She called immediately; was warm and enthusiastic; proved nonjudgmental about my way of life and decorating preferences; figured out what I wanted and didn't want; worked within my budget; invariably presented me with choices in every category of item more quickly than I could review them; always followed through immediately; was ahead of me all the way; supported my preferences and tastes but tactfully intervened when I was about to make a mistake; took me to stores but had been there ahead of me to check things out; brought samples to me because I was too busy to look around; worked within my own time constraints; found dependable workman and vetted them ahead of time; did all the coordinating with other professionals; pulled together a new look for my house from top to bottom in a matter of a few weeks; was a perfectionist in every detail; never made errors or let a detail lapse from her attention; was fun to be around and positive; had terrific ideas and in the end accentuated architectural details of our small, awkward old home that have never worked well no matter what we have done. Working with her is like the fantasied experience of having a perfect personal assistant who executes every detail as soon as you can conceive of it and utter it, flawlessly, with good humor and utter faithfulness. Her past experience as an executive and CEO give her the background to be outstanding, and her interest in working for herself and enjoying herself and the people she works for make her a delight to get along with. It is seldom in one's life that one runs into a professional who is so highly committed to doing things flawlessly, and - even more - doing them in a way that expresses your own desires as you would not have been able to do unassisted. I have been working with Kari on my home project (townhome apartment) in Chicago for the past 2 months and I have been impressed with her professionalism and shared enthusiasm. I recently hired Kari to stage my home and get it ready for sale. Long story short....Kari did an awesome job. 12 hrs after putting my home on the market, I received 2 full price offers and many compliments on how my home looked. Due to Kari's staging, I sold my home for $15,000 more than what I thought I would get for the home. Selling my home the first day on the market was also great because I had moved out and living 1,500 miles away so I did not want to pay a mortgage on a home I wasn't living in. On the front end, Kari walked through the home with me and advised me on what color paint I should use to repaint rooms in my home and simple updates that would help me fetch top dollar. On the back end, Kari arranged for all of the staging furniture to be picked up and that the home was ready for it's new owners.
