Look elsewhere!!! The moving crew was rough, we had a lot of damage. They are not stepping up to take care of the damage. They literally drove the screws from the table straight through the top of it because they put them back in without the base on it! UGH AND!!! Go watch them weigh your truck. If you would like your home to remain intact when movers deliver your things, do yourself a favor and do not use Corrigan Moving Systems. My husband just recently retired from 20+ yrs in the military and Corrigan was entrusted to deliver our property. The movers damaged our door and door frame at a house we had just bought and moved into only a week prior. We contacted them as soon as damage was noticed. We also presented before and after photos AND were told by the movers upon their departure we should/could contact them if we found any damage, telling us we needed to sign a paper before they could go. Obviously this was a lie as the paper they had us sign apparently absolved them of any and all damage . Clearly this is a disorganized, unreliable, and untrustworthy company --- the movers even forgot all of their necessary paperwork at our home and the owner called us to scan and send it over to him. Unbelievable. After submitting our claim we were then ignored for 30+ days and only when I followed up did they tell us they'd be doing nothing. What a horrible way to treat a veteran! I'm disgusted with this company's utter disregard for our home and their lack of accountability. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

Corrigan did a fantastic job with my recent move. From the start the estimator Steve was very knowledgeable and responsive. After I signed the agreement, Brad took over and was also very nice and responsive to my questions. On the day of my move, I was extremely nervous. I had been in my home for 37 years and accumulated a lot of stuff. The movers (3 super nice guys) showed up on time and within a couple of hours they had my home packed up and within a couple of more hours they had all my furniture and belongings in my new home, and everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. Really professional movers, they are an enthusiastic group who take pride in their work. I accidentally told the movers to pack my important documents (that I didn't want to pack) so I called Corrigan if I could come to warehouse and get the stuff I need that was already packed. Corrigan movers assigned people to go over my packed stuff and they gave me back my stuff. I felt Corrigan movers went above and beyond to provide great customer service. I do not recommend this company because they were not careful enough in protecting the house or my property in the move. Moreover, their claims department was difficult to work with. When they picked up by belongings from my house in Michigan, they put a large scratch in the laminate floor and gouge in the wall. They held my belongings in storage for nine months as arranged. When my property was delivered to my new home in SC, I found that 12 items were damaged and one box was missing. The damage included a 55" TV that was broken and an antique family heirloom table whose leg was broken off and had a gouge in the top. I will say that their process for checking off the inventory list upon delivery was great, but that is not enough for me to recommend them. Their claims department did not respond to most of my questions. They said I could dispute the settlement amount, but when I did dispute it and provided a written estimate for furniture repair, they simply ignored my emails. Even their own furniture repair specialist said the estimate to repair the table was too low. I was satisfied with the claim amounts on the other items. read more

Very helpful and professional. Quick to respond to my emails, even on a Saturday. Smooth pick up and was updated constantly which helped me know what was going on throughout my whole moving process from Florida to Michigan. There was no stupid question when I asked about something and was answered in detail. I would definitely use them again in my future moves. The mover who dropped off my stuff misplaced a bike part and the management was very quick on keeping tabs on it and making sure I got the bike part back in mint condition. I have had the worst moving experience of my life with Corrigan/Mayflower last month. Even though I booked two months before and had signed contracts for my move date, the day before I was called and told that they were not showing up The next day as contracted. The inconvenience that my family dealt with was horrific and Corrigan was unsympathetic and unwilling to commit to a move date. They finally picked up one week late and when I received my furniture I had thousands of dollars of damage. I thought I was covered because I took out their additional full replacement insurance for a very costly additional premium. However even the insurance has turned out to be a scam where they are repairing items that they severely damaged and trying to pay me cents on the dollar for other non-repairable items. I would never recommend Corrigan/mayflower to move a dog house let alone your home. read more

If you want your furniture destroyed, then book with this company. This is going to be a long one. I was hoping that my experience with Corrigan would have been a smooth one, seeing all their great reviews. However, that was not the case. I had Corrigan pick up my furniture and things fron my house in Michigan a year ago, and put into their warehouse storage. The pickup went okay, only one item was damaged, but other than that everything was packed and put into the truck without issue. This was the only decent part of my experience. Fast forward to about a month ago, when I contacted Corrigan to schedule for me to pick up my things from storage with my rental truck. I was told that I had an outstanding bill for monthly storage, even though my credit card was charged every month for the year my things were in their warehouse (I had the charges on every month on my credit card bill). Their billing department is a disaster, and doesnt even know when they are charging someone or not. When I got to their warehouse, and all my furniture and things were laid out, I was extremely upset. My favorite furniture pieces were severly damaged. My $2k tv stand was in shambles and broken beyond repair. My kitchen table had gouges, chips, scratches and paint stains on it from them packing the table uncovered into the vault with things on top. One of the mover helpers even accused me of doing the damage myself. The way that my furniture and things were treated when they were packed into their warehouse vaults was appauling. I never expected things to be so damaged, especially when I have paid this company alot of money and trusted my things would be in good hands. Another piece of my furniture was left behind at their warehouse, and when I contacted the company after I got to my destination and noticed it was missing, I was told that I instructed them to leave it there. Why would I take the top of a coffee table but tell them to leave the bottom at the warehouse? The item has been disposed of and I cannot get it back. I have claims for the damages and losses in with the company, and will update on how that goes. I am not feeling positive that I will get money back from this company for my destroyed furniture... All in all, this was the worst moving experience Ive ever had. I would never recommend this company to anyone who values their household items. read more

I have moved 13 times, 7 from state to state. I've done it with Uhaul, and I've had professionals move me. This was, by far, the most incredible moving experience I've ever had. John and John were the best. They were professional, friendly, and had amazing attention to detail. I think they had more concern for the details than we did! We did 3 moves with Corrigan in the last 6 months and for the most part it was all done very professionally and went very well. On the last move to Florida we encountered some issues with overage charges and in talking with my salesperson, we finally worked things out. I would definitely use them again in the future. Just be sure that if it is an intrastate move that they actually do weigh the goods. That would have solved a lot of issues for the future. read more

The rep and moving coordinator were very nice and helpful. The problem was the driver. He decided to move our entire house a day early; to accommodate his schedule. We had a closing on a Mon and the move wasn't supposed to take place until Wed; giving us a extra day in case the closing had problems and for us to finish our self-pack. To our surprise, the driver and crew arrived on Tues at 8 am to finish our packing and loading THAT DAY. He was suppose to arrive alone and only pack the pictures and 2 mattresses. I had services scheduled around the Wed move day and everything was thrown out the window just so the drive could pick up an extra job with our move and so he would be back home in time for the weekend. I had the majority of items packed and labeled as to which of the 3 drop off spots each box was suppose to be left at. Apparently the driver can't read either, because since the boxes have been unpacked, at least 5 are in the wrong place. I've had to go and buy replacement items because those missing boxes are in a climate control vault that we won't have access to until we actually move into a house; which won't be for another 6 months. I did speak to our rep and the coordinator and hopefully something will be done regarding this driver. The company was fine; just this driver in particular. If someone schedules "Gene"; ask for another driver. read more

We recently used Corrigan Moving Systems for a long distance move. I had heard horror stories about movers so was leary about the whole process. However, it went very well. The rep who came and did the estimate was pleasant, professional, and thorough. The cost he quoted us was what we paid - it didn't change after everything was set. We had them do the packing and the packers were friendly and professional. It was done quickly and there was one small item broken in the move. The loading crew was also friendly and didn't waste any time. Our only problem was that we didn't get our furniture until 3 weeks after we moved. This was partly our fault as we originally thought we would have to go to storage until we could get into a house, but were able to get in much sooner than we though. Since we had already scheduled belongings to go to storage (and we didn't have a full truck with our stuff), we had to wait until another load was coming our way. Once it came it was unloaded, put together and we had no complaints about how any of it was handled. I would recommend Corrigan Moving Company. read more
