Packaging supplies included shrink wrap and blanket wrap which was part of the labor cost. Weston and Colton were friendly and very careful with packaging and handling our furniture. The owner of this business is a crook, a liar, and a thief…read more He and his assistant (Cody and Stephanie are their names, respectively) will tell you lie after lie, or lies by omission of information, to get you to use their business. They also lie to their employees, and they overwork them while undersupplying their customers appropriate support so as to ultimately charge the customer significantly more and pay their workers much less. My move was quoted at "5 hours, 6 tops". It took NINE HOURS, three hours longer than they even told the crew to expect. When signing with them, I asked them to charge a different card than the one they forced me to give with much pressure and no time to think in order to secure their services with a deposit of 140 dollars. They then sent me a contract stating they charge a 15 dollar service fee for credit transactions. So I told them I would be paying cash. I expressed my concerns to Cody during the move, and he said "if you're upset we can work something out." He then proceeded to ignore my calls and texts and charged my original card (the one I said NOT to use) for over a thousand dollars. Do not EVER use this company for anything. Their actual moving teams are wonderful; the owner should be in jail.

Then came packing and moving days. Now I would refer to this company as A Pickup and a Couple of Guys. They immediately started to complain about how much they had to pack and how they had to leave at 5 so they weren't sure they could get it done. China was packed using cloth place mats which they had to hunt to find since the china and place mats were in different parts of the house. There was plenty of bubble wrap available. Crystal was thrown in a box with packing paper. Items were moved from one part of the house to another to pack so when we unpacked we were not able to find complete sets of items. Sure enough, when 5 pm came the majority of packers left even though they had not packed any of our bathrooms and had left 4 kitchen cupboards untouched. Fortunately 2 of the other packers were responsible and finished up. The next day, the actual moving day, was a repeat. Complaints about how much stuff we had, they hadn't planned enough trucks, the boxes were too heavy. By 4:00, when we saw them passing a joint around we just wanted them gone. We are not naive but we didn't appreciate their vulgar language. On move in day they were expected between 8-9 AM. We had confirmed that time several times in advance. They did not show up until 1:30 PM. Every time we called to check we were told they were still loading the trucks. We now think they couldn't round up enough workers. Two furniture items were broken so they could not be used, 2 lamps were packed so poorly that the switches no longer worked. Several dishes and glasses were broken. We have taken pictures of all of the damage and submitted them multiple times to Nathan, the manager. He has not responded. No adjustor has come to analyze the broken pieces of furniture so we can get them repaired. We paid extra for breakage insurance so that was a waste of money.

Very bad experience. Was told multiple different delivery dates by different people within the…read morecompany. Delivery was delayed even longer than expected (10 days post pick up). Boxes were labelled incorrectly and a handful of things were placed in random boxes/bins making it difficult to find certain items. On arrival, this made it difficult to put things in the correct places. The delivery team on arrival seemed in a hurry to leave, not placing boxes in the correct rooms. This made it difficult for me as I couldn't carry the boxes by myself, so I had to open boxes on a floor and slowly bring things a few items at a time up or down to a different floor. Many boxes/bins were placed in the garage that should have gone in the house. The assembly team that came to put the trampoline back together had to come back twice because we initially couldn't find the box of trampoline parts. Additionally, I had a hard time getting in touch with them the second time until the company owner reached out to me and then reached out to them. Then I later discovered that the the metal pieces holding up the basket on the front of my bike were damaged badly, bent in multiple spots and need to be replaced. My refrigerator doors are also out of alignment now and a small corner piece on one door is damaged. Tried reaching out to the coordinator and claims department to address these issues and still without resolution for the problem. The line for the claims department has a full inbox and I am unable to leave a voicemail. EXTREMELY chaotic and horrible experience with this company. Would NOT recommend.

I emailed the night before to email provided via Uhaul and didn't see anything in my inbox so followed up 1st thing in the morning. Apparently I was the one "with an attitude" because I was just asking for confirmation in case I had to make other plans for unloading. I get it. Life happens. I can see how on Derek's end how it could be frustrating to not be able to contact someone, but my email was valid. I checked spam folder, etc, and nothing. I have had this move scheduled for 8 days now. I never give bad reviews and hate to do it, but do want to warn others that YOU need to be the one following up with them and staying in contact with them up until move day. I know how frustrating the public can be since I've been a retail store manager over 10+ years in Chicago. I get it. Plus today is snowy and gross and we also have covid happening. I did give Derek a chance to correct the issue, or even apologize, but he literally screamed at me so much that I had to put him on speaker phone and both my husband and mother-in-law were baffled at the way he was speaking to me as they heard both sides of phone conversation. After two days and hundreds of dollars, I was left with a barely built and bent gazebo. This included whole pieces not put back on and a giant hole in the mosquito netting. Not only did they not complete the job, they ruined the gazebo. I received no reimbursement of any kind. And on top of everything, they were extremely late showing up both days and communication was terrible. Sucks because they were nice guys in person, but I don't think this is the right career path for them.
