Monday morning rescue came from a call to this business found on CL answered by courteous bro Jason. " I can do between 10 and 2 today , either me or my brother Zak will be there". WOW! Today, and guestimate pricing seemed reasonable. I checked them out on Yelp and he said they were happy to accept their amazing $50 for $25 service coupon. Courtesy call at 1030 to say Zak was 30 mins out. Zak diagnosed, advised me he brought the correct part ( I had given Jason my model# on the phone) .. what a super deal I did not have to wait a week while the part was ordered, or get the usual " Sorry I don't carry that on my truck." By 1215 all work done, my fridge CHILLIN again and my bill in the well affordable range, at least $100+ less than Boulder competitors. She then said the technician stated he was there for 3 hours when he was only there for 10 minutes. She then told me she'd talk to the boss and get back to me. That never happened, so I followed up a week later only to be told, it was a flat rate and that's the price. This was a frustrating experience from the price and customer service aspect. I asked twice for the technician to call before any work was performed. That didn't happen. Then I was told I would receive a follow up call which didn't happen. I regret referring them to others.

When they were done, they cleaned up beautifully and there were no extra fees tacked on, even though they did some additional work. They explained every step to me and answered all my questions. There is no way this job was even 1/3 of $1400! He also said he DOES NOT do diagnostic for free; and that is $365 (later put in his estimate $233). So, Plumbline mis-represented that as well -- since I literally have it documented from their rep via text that they will do the diagnostic for free. All of that is highway robbery. They also wasted our workday by coming out 4 hours later than the END of the originally scheduled window of time (they did call to say they are running late). We should bill THEM for that time staying home ALL day on a workday -- instead of the planned half day. WE DO NOT recommend these guys. Seems like they are just another company that hopes folks accept an outrageous estimate because they are already in your home after accepting a $49 or Free estimate. We went with one of the quotes that are WAY LOWER and waited until they were available. Fixed for $250 TOTAL!
