When I decided to sell my home, I chose Abraham because of his stellar reputation. It was a wise…read morechoice, as I'll explain below. For our initial meeting, Abraham arrived five minutes early at the appointed day and time. That alone sets him apart from anyone else in South Florida, but it gets even better. My inherited home was in dilapidated condition since my father never took care of it; it had termites, rotten wood, cracks on the walls, in terrible condition. I was afraid I would get a low price for the house, if anyone would buy it at all. With the utmost confidence Abraham assured me that not only could he sell it, he would sell it for one million. I was doubtful of this claim, but he walked me through all the steps and described his approach to selling my particular house. His ability to tailor the sales approach to the house is admirable. The house sold in 6 weeks. He even beat his own estimate of one million, having sold it for even more. I was both stunned and grateful. Abraham Ash is embodiment of talent and professionalism. He is THE realtor par excellence.

We found Abe on Yelp as the best-rated realtor in Miami. I believe we were initially only looking…read moreat the Brickell area. Coming in from the cut-throat SF Bay Area market with near-zero inventory, we were overwhelmed by the options available in Miami. Abe found us a spot right by the Biscayne Bay at the Margaret Pace Park in Edgewater. We have butterflies in our tummies as we are in love with our new home. This is 100% thanks to Abe. Abe knows every patch of land in Brickell, Edgewater, Downtown, and other parts of Miami. He knows the history of each building, what's coming next that could block your views, the HoA rules for each building, the heights of all buildings, and the views from each side of the building. It is mindboggling. We had assumed Abe would spend 3-4hrs with us and then let us go to do our own search. Instead, he spent multiple days with us non-stop, with some days where we even skipped meal breaks and walked around until our legs hurt. He is a natural at driving around the various pockets of Miami, navigating the streets while also being a tour guide. His ability to multitask like this helped us a lot. I still remember how, while driving around the Edgewater area, my wife and I simultaneously felt "wow, this neighborhood has a chic vibe we liked." We fell in love with Edgewater, though we had come in focused on Brickell. Abe is very good at sharing both the good and the bad about each option. There was a point we had already picked a new construction project that was nearly 3X of the next property we had scheduled to see. Abe was still showing us the pros of this new property, even if it would be significantly less of a deal size. He demonstrated many such signs of transparency and integrity during our entire time with him. We wish Abe the best and feel that if you get to know him and work out a nice rhythm, you can find the home or investment property of your dreams.

We presumed finding a rental in Miami would be a walk in the park compared to the nightmare of finding a space in NYC. Well, we were in for a rude awakening, as the Miami market is comparable to that of NYC. Thankfully came equipped with the awesome professionalism of Denni and Marc. Denni was our main contact, and she is a steady, confident presence in the face of many an apartment hunting adversity. And, let's be real, who has found a new apartment without a little drama-rama? We too felt the pressure of being admitted into a building, finding a good view, and closet size to match. Amazingly, Denni hit the mark with the first place she showed us. Now, being difficult clients, we made her drag us to about ten other places before we ironically chose to rent first place we viewed. Husband and I were living out of suitcases, and Denni not only negotiated the lease for us, she pushed the move in date so that we could stop shelling out cash for crappy hotel rooms. Hoo-ray, Denni! Denni isn't all business though, through casual conversation she will help newbies (like us) learn the ins and outs of living in Miami. Such as parking, valet, the social scene, traffic, etc. After we moved into our place we agreed that the whole time we secretly wanted to invite Denni over to kick back with a beer on our great new patio. Alas, we think Denni is too busy (and likely too classy) working hard to help other Miami residents find an amazing new place. Save yourself a ton of time and wasted energy ... call Denni and Marc when you are ready to move.

Working with Airsorted was unfortunately a big mistake. As investors, Realtors, and property owners…read moreourselves, we didn't think we'd be able to be duped by a management company, but boy were we wrong! If you're thinking of Airsorted and what the experience might be like, imagine paying 15% of all of your profits for something that doesn't really exist. While your account manager may be present during the sign-up, know that the communication is likely short-lived. As soon as we started working together, the issues started piling up. Immediately after acknowledging the terms and conditions document and working together, we started experiencing issues as if the management company didn't exist. Guests were reaching out with no response, cleaners weren't arriving for their scheduled clean (and when they did, the cleaning was terrible), Airsorted wasn't putting the linens on the beds as they'd agreed to (they were only putting ONE FLAT sheet on the mattress along with a duvet, no sheets!), messages weren't being responded to in the portal, and every time we tried to call the office, no one was there to answer our calls. We had multiple issues arise from a lack of management availability, and because of Airsorted's lack of timeliness in responses, we had two requests expire from guests who wanted to book specific dates, leaving the bookings blocked on the calendar as per AirBNB's policy. We missed out on nearly $700 in bookings in addition to having to deal with managing the home ourselves when we did not receive the agreed upon services rendered. In recently writing out the issues for the dispute case I'm creating against Airsorted, I compiled nearly three pages of issues and logistical snafus that we'd experienced while we were working together. It's kind of appalling that in less than three weeks of managing our property, we experienced multiple issues that negatively impacted our AirBNB listing. Not only are we now doing our best to manage the property ourselves, but it is a bit of an uphill battle as we work to improve some of the response and acceptance scores of our listing on the AirBNB platform. I'd honestly run for the hills from this one, we had recommended it to a few friends and colleagues and I've been contacting them to let them know, as I feel its my responsibility considering how disappointed I was with our experience.
