My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

You must walk through the lobby and across the outside area. The sauna and the one person steam shower is located here. You Check-in then you get changed into the robe and walk across the lobby check-in area to the elevators. You are walking through the area with all the guests and their luggage in your super large robe that doesn't close very well. I did not enjoy this. Some disappointing things which was not their fault is the parking garage construction noise even on Sundays. The noise took away from my spa experience. They did nothing for the noise control. Also, the SPA requests you must arrive 30 minutes before your treatment time. I got my parking validated BUT we stayed for brunch who also validated our parking but we went over the 4 hours so we got no discount for parking and we were charged the full $35 fee plus tip for the valet. The valet staff was quite nasty telling me we were there too long for the discount BUT each one of those alone qualified for a discounted valet. You can not do both in the 4 hour window.

Then we were told they did not have us down which was another lie as we saw the ticket agent call them to confirm. So which is? Next they sent a van to pick us up to take us to the van (another 30 minutes) . Once we were picked up we were taken to the bus who was waiting for us. Felt bad for the other people sitting in the heat waiting for us. Once in the bus we sat and the tour began. We went around some streets, saw some hospitals, Windom graffiti walls and little Havana. Then dropped off at the port for the folks that were taking the boat cruise and had to wait 1 1/2 hrs in order to return. Not only was the tour bad but out of all the things we've were supposed to see we only saw Little Havana. No Coconut Grove, no Coral Gables, no Viscaya Villa. The bus was filthy, the driver rude, PA system terrible. There were a bunch of young adults with gallon size of tequila, smoking cigar, pot and basically being obnoxious. Trying to get ahold of someone to get our $ back was ridiculous. Was able to get 1/2 back but our day was ruined so I feel we should have gotten a full refund. We were not the only clients complaining. Never again!!

Our attendant was attentive but not hovering, kept the drinks coming, and food came out fast. Everything we ordered was solid -- perfect pool-day food and refreshing cocktails. There is a minimum spend requirement for the cabana, but it was super easy to hit between food and drinks. And considering you're paying for a dedicated space, service, and a prime poolside setup, it felt worth it. Overall, it was the perfect day to unwind and feel a little luxe. I'd definitely book the Ivy cabana again.

The food was very good as well. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast as part of our hot tub booking, which was a nice bonus and a great way to start the day. One of the highlights of the hotel is the easy beach access from the back. You can simply walk out and reach the beach, and the area feels safe and lively. You'll often see people jogging, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors, which adds to the energetic South Beach vibe. The walk around the area is pleasant, and the overall atmosphere feels fun and relaxed. Overall, the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel is a wonderful place with great service, good food, and a cool beachside vibe. I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We have wanted to stay in the Art Deco section of Miami Beach for years. When we became HGV members, it made it an easy choice for us to spend a long weekend here. My wife and I are somewhat suspicious of old properties, because of the inherent problems associated with them( thin walls, creaky floors, small accommodations, and such). No of that will be found here though. A very generous room with a full kitchen, with everything you need to cook in the room if you choose. Large bedroom and restroom and an a/c system that keeps up with the Miami weather. We took advantage of the rooftop hot tub and sun deck, but we wish that is was open earlier so that we could watch sunrise without leaving the building. The beach is just steps away, so sunrise was watched from sea level. The staff was attentive, asking us how our stay was going and if we needed anything. Thank you for this property and allowing us to visit this historic district with ease.

If being close to the beach is important. Stay here…read more If having no TV`s in any of the four bedroom is okay with you. Stay here. After hearing my friend admit that she`d paid $3000 for a four day, three night stay here, I realized that the real estate rental market on South Beach is a rip off. Our place was very clean, there were four bedrooms, two with queen beds and two with two twin beds each, and I think we were sufficiently supplied with towels, although I don`t really know since I knew going it there would be 8-10 of us sharing the space, so I took my own. The concierge (Sonny) that showed me up to the room was really nice, and the people that arrived before me told me that he had given them a tutorial on working the TV and speakers that were hooked up. Good thing he had, because even turning the TV off and on seemed to be a chore. The speakers piped through the entire unit, but thankfully each room allowed your to mute your speakers for some peace and quiet while everyone else continued to party. There was basically two living rooms and a fully stocked kitchen and that was it for rooms. I think our unit is advertised at 1700 sq feet. The owner even left us a bottle of wine and some other staples. Three bathrooms with an ample supply of hand soap, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner and while they weren`t the cleanest bathrooms I`d ever seen, they were clean enough to step in and out of with your shower shoes on. Free wifi. And it was pretty good wifi. There was an inventory check list along with a binder full of helpful tips about local businesses, rules of the property. The quiet hours are marked at 11pm - 6am, but overall I found the building to be pretty quiet throughout our stay, there is also a night security guard There is a restaurant directly in front of the building, and the outdoor tables were full any time I exited. There is a surf shop store also underneath the building on street level, which is a good place in Miami to stock up on souvenirs etc., the cheapest lighter they had was $2.50 and the shot glasses were $3.99 and up. They also had a good selection of Ray Bans and Oakelys. And some Miami t-shirts. I mostly avoided the store, because the first day I arrived, once I hopped out my uber, I was confused as to which of the three doors to enter to get to the concierge and asked the shop owner, and he looked at me and said he didn`t know and kept sweeping the sidewalk as if I wasn`t standing there. For sure, you know which door is the entrance to a condominium that you share real estate with. Not sure how the numbering of the unit goes, but we were on the third floor facing Ocean Drive and had it not been for the palm trees, we would have had a view of the ocean. Overall, I`d never pay $3000 to stay anywhere for four days but for the location aspect of it, your are right in the smack of Ocean Drive, so go for it, but I`m sure there are less expensive options that offer more bang for your buck. The unit was equipped with an X-box and some game and a few board games and a set of ping pong paddles. None of which we used. There was a washer dryer combo which made it helpful not to have to return home with wet swimsuits and the owners supplied us with a container of Tide pods. They also provided some beach towels and an umbrella. The info binder stated that there were some businesses directly across the street that rented beach chairs. The place was closed each time we went over to the beach. Within walking distance of multiple restaurants, Fat Tuesday, Wet Willies, TGIF and Haagen Daaz.

We were a group of 10 college friends and spouses in town to celebrate an anniversary. We went out for the afternoon on a 55' Azimut flybridge sport yacht and spent the afternoon cruising the beautiful waters around Miami and Miami Beach. Captain Carl was a seasoned veteran and took all the right steps to make this a wonderful day for our group. The ship also included a steward who took care of serving food and drinks and seeing to it that everyone was comfortable. We were in excellent hands with this crew! All the upfront arrangements were quick and easy and and everything came through exactly as promised. I definitely recommend Deanne, Captain Carl and crew and The Charter Agency. This was my second outing with them. I was a guest the first time and was excited about coming back to book my own cruise. I will happily use them again. Thanks Deanne!

We had a bachelor party of 8 people and he suggested chartering two 4-person fishing vessels and having an open seas fishing competition. Payment and booking were handled quickly and professionally. He informed me that the boats can be catered, or we could provide our own food/beer. He still provided water and soda. Once the group split up we got right to it. Unfortunately one of the boats had a mechanical problem and had to come back to the dock where we quickly switched to another boat. While this is mildly frustrating, there the boat crew handled it well and apologized profusely. Once on the water, the crews on both boats gave solid lessons on what types of lines we were using, how deep the casting lines went, and advice on how to best secure a catch. The entire crew also offered interesting tidbits about the types/temperature/depth of waters that we were fishing in. Since we were all novice fisherman, the crew was very patient. All of the boats were clean and the inside area was air-conditioned and spacious enough for 4-5 people. The groom to be was very happy about the experience and Captain Matt and the rest of the crew were very fun to work with. I highly recommend this as a regular or bachelor party activity (be sure to take Dramamine the night before as the seas gets rough)
