I will never eat store bought tortillas again!! We cooked them for about a min on each side in a hot cast iron pan. They were so good with our tacos we made breakfast burritos in the morning. Pumpkin bread was DELICIOUS! The croissant shaped bread is just a little sweet and made a perfect ham and cheese sandwich. The young lady in the shop was very helpful in helping us identify some of the offerings. Pound cake awesome as well with just a little butter. Yum!! read more

Thank you for reviewing this place JW. I'm sure I wouldn't have found it otherwise! All the pastries are very fresh, and are a bargain at 50 cents each! The pumpkin bread (which I got on an employee's recommendation) was fantastic! Very moist and fluffy. The fluorescent pink stuffed pastry covered in sugar was good too, I think she said it was cherry, but if it was I couldn't tell. If you are in the area and have a sweet-tooth, give this place a try! read more

Truly a family run bakery. I received a warm welcome when I walked in and the owner helped me pick out some delicious desserts. Large selection of Mexican baked goods that are made fresh everyday. I couldn't tell you what half of them are but they all looked so good. They make their tortillas by hand every day. I will never go back to grocery store bought tortillas ever again. Their tortillas are 100 times better and cheaper. You have to try these tortillas. Life changing. Best when heated in a pan over medium heat until they start to rise. read more

If you're fortunate enough to see the ginger pigs, definitely get one! They're excellent for those of us that like our sweets not being overly sweet :) (Conversely my second favorite of their items is their three colored cookies. Be warned, you'd best get two or three, they have a habit of vanishing....) Do note that they're not open in the early mornings which is a dash unusual for a bakery, but they're definitely worth the wait if you're in the area! read more
