Enjoyed a date with my husband to Coronado Vineyards today! The staff was friendly, the bartender explained all of their wines and gave us recommendations. The food was surprisingly good. Willcox is really in the middle of nowhere with not much around so I wasn't expecting much food wise but was completely surprised and loved it! Would definitely visit again.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Second time here while in town for the wine festival. Staff and owner are incredibly friendly. After the wine festival day on Saturday there was live music in the patio area. The bottle of wine I bought at the festival was opened for us at our table. Food is amazing - Sunday Morning they were serving breakfast buffet and mimosas. The view looking toward the vineyard is beautiful. Inside and out a welcoming, good-vibe atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our visit to this hidden gem off of I-10 on our way to Tucson. Excellent service and ambiance

They had me at Charcuterie Board. Omg! It's beautifully arranged and taste amazing! The view is outstanding and the service was great! The tasting room is very large and I really enjoyed the conversation with the owner about the history and what her plans for the future are. The wine was great and I ended up buying 2 bottles of the The Two Heads Red Blend. This is a must stop and I can't wait to go back with a group of my friends!

It was delicious! The service was fast and the food was amazing! It was a beautiful day. The Sangria was fantastic. Definitely will come again when passing through.

We stopped in here based on a local recommendation that this winery had the best views in the area. I won't argue with that! We enjoyed sitting on the patio with our wine and lunch, overlooking the vineyard / hills, where a Harris Hawk and Red Tail Hawk flew over the horizon. Not a bad setup. They have outdoor seating with shade options, which was perfect for our visit with our two dogs (they allow dogs on patios outside). Watch out for dust devils though - one blew RIGHT over us while sitting on the lawn. Our umbrella and tables around us went flying, but luckily no one was hurt. They only had two people working for a busy Sunday, so the service was slow. It was evident they were trying their best though. I really enjoyed the wine - I tasted the Rose + their standard reds. The rose was pretty sweet but I liked it. The cab ended up being my favorite. The syrah was notably smokey. We ordered the beet salad which was delicious! Also a flatbread without nuts (they accidentally made it the first time with nuts and had it take it back), but found several nuts on it so I didn't end up eating it given that I have a severe nut allergy. I heard it was good. ha! We would definitely come back here - though hoping I can make it on a non-busy day, as they aren't set up to handle that well. They did have live music which was nice!

A friend of mine was visiting from out of town, so we decided to go to Coronado Vineyards after exploring and apple picking at Apple Annie's. It was the perfect end to the day! We walked in and made our way to the wine bar where we were greeted and handed menus along with an explanation of the wine options. They had wine slushees and wine popsicles! We both ordered the wine flight, which brings a taste of 5 wines. This winery does have more reds and red blends than they do whites or rosés. We also ordered the charcuterie board which was HUGE! Wonderful atmosphere, plenty of room to roam about the wine room, gift shop, and winery grounds. The gift shop has great gift options for both wine lovers and non-wine lovers! Wine is also available for purchase by the bottle. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!!

We stopped here after Apple Annie's and had such a lovely experience. First the space is so beautiful. You've got views of the vineyards and mountains. Second, the wine flights we sampled were delicious. It's marked as not good for kids but depending on the age and preparation, you can make it work. We had a relaxing experience with our 2 and 4 year old. We visited around 10:15 and were the first to arrive. There's a grassy lawn for picnics or for space for kids to play. They also have a high chair. I recommend packing snacks and bringing a juice if you bring your kids. They do have sparking water and soda for purchase too. They have a high chair but there are no changing tables in the bathroom. Service was great! We found a spot outside and the server brought our flights to us and came out regularly to see how we are doing.

I made a trip to this vineyard based on a friend's recommendation and I'm glad I did. I enjoyed tasting some red wines, the Pistachio Crusted Chicken Skewers and good conversation with the owners. Definitely a winery I will visit in the future and it's highly recommended.

Beautiful vineyard with a lovely tasting room and outdoor patio. The staff is friendly and welcoming and I am a fan of the Syrah! My mother loved the 2 heads and took a bottle home. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I've gone to many fantastic wine tastings at this point that offer wine flights for a much lower price than here but still a charming place to try!

Very cute vineyard with tasting room and outside patio area with scenic views. I enjoyed my pesto margherita pizza and Estate flight.

Came here Thursday 12/26/19 on a whim as we are driving across country from Sonoma County in California. The pourer was super nice, my husband and I did two red tastings for $10 each and got the pistachio crusted chicken skewers. We bought 2 bottles of wine. Pics attached PROS: - great service - located with a view of Twin Heads Mountain which they also named a bottle after - the chicken skewers were DELICIOUS! - bread sticks along with your tasting to help clear your palate - super cool wine glasses, we bought two - back yard area with a gazebos viewing the vineyard and mountains CONS: - a little dark inside - prefer fake grass or maintain something so we can hang outside SUGGESTIONS: - get a fire pit outside, either a big one or few with seating during winter months - offer blankets for guest to use outside - string lights - heat lamps - little tables by the fire so guest can have tapas there

This vineyard was so beautiful, it was the highlight of our weekend in Wilcox. The charcuterie board was excellent with a lot of variety and a great price for the size of it! We enjoyed the different tasting options as well. We were glad they stayed open until 6pm, which is later than most of the other area wineries.

BACKGROUND One of…read moremy favorite qualities I love about my mom is how she always loves getting out and exploring. She's had the exploring bug ever since I can remember. Getting to go on those trips with her is one of the things I miss most about traveling so much. One trip I missed that she frequently spoke fondly about is wine tasting in Willcox, Arizona. WILCOX WINES: THE HISTORY The history of Arizona's wine industry actually began in pre-Prohibition days. Back then, Arizona had more grapes than California. From Prohibition to 1980's it was illegal to make wine in Arizona. In 1982, Arizona passed a series of laws that enabled and regulated the activities of a new class of liquor license, the Domestic Farm Winery. In 2005, a Supreme Court ruling made parts of Arizona's wine laws unconstitutional. In 2006, the passage of SB1276 brought Arizona's wine laws into compliance with the Supreme Court's ruling which caused a resurgence in the Arizona wine industry. There are currently approximately 80 wineries in Arizona, in three main regions: Sonoita, Elgin and Willcox/Verde Valley. Willcox is about one hour southeast of Tucson. There are wine festivals held twice each year: the third weekend in May and the third weekend in October. THE STORY I finally had the opportunity to go with my mom to the last Willcox Wine Tasting Festival. The main tent setup is downtown, in the historic railroad section. That area is also where many of the Arizona wineries have local store fronts, like Flying Leap, Aridus, and Carlson Creek. When you arrive, you can purchase tickets which allow you to sample any of the many selections from the participating wineries. My favorite find was the Viognier from Aridus. There is also live music and most of the local restaurants are open. My favorite was Rodney's, a tiny shop where you order at the shop window from Rodney, and he serves your food out back on their outdoor patio. CONCLUSION The Willcox Wine Tasting Festival is very charming and super fun! 5/5 RECOMMEND OF NOTE *The next Willcox Wine Tasting Festival is May 19-20, 2016. *For more information: http://www.willcoxwines.com

We arrived around 3:30 PM so the tasting room was still open and we were able to taste 5 one ounce pours for $12. We asked specifically for dry wines and were very happy with the different wines that we tasted. I highly recommend the 2021 Chardonnay, that is the one we ended up purchasing. My husband enjoyed the Sangiovese as well. We had a nice quiet evening here and definitely recommend the wines.

I made a promise to myself to one day visit the vineyard in Wilcox, AZ. When that day came I found myself in downtown Wilcox where they had a tasting room but was now closed. So with a little investigation I found that they moved the tasting room to the vineyard. Brand spanking new tasting room located in the Barrel Room. What a beautiful site located at 4200 feet and about 280 acres of vines. This is the place where the best wine juice comes from. The reds are bold and the whites are crisp and suttle. Quiet and relaxing, some tables outside to sip and take it all in. No food at this time only wine. I finally made it to Wilcox....breath taking and refreshing. Pallets are like noses, we all have one. To me Carlson Creek Wines are the best in Arizona. Come check it out!
