Friendly & hospitable service by the gentleman owner at the bar was so appreciated. Hubby and I decided on this winery as our first stop in Willcox. I ordered their RED WINE flight as my tasting and I really enjoyed every one of them. My FAV was their Tres Vidas and I took a bottle home! We also ordered a small charcuterie tray to enjoy with our tasting. The tasting room is really big and can accommodate big groups. We came in during a slow time so it was nice to have the opportunity to get to know the owner and his story. I cannot recommend this place enough. Second time here while in town for the wine festival. Staff and owner are incredibly friendly. After the wine festival day on Saturday there was live music in the patio area. The bottle of wine I bought at the festival was opened for us at our table. The tasting room is very large and I really enjoyed the conversation with the owner about the history and what her plans for the future are. We stopped in here based on a local recommendation that this winery had the best views in the area. I won't argue with that! We enjoyed sitting on the patio with our wine and lunch, overlooking the vineyard / hills, where a Harris Hawk and Red Tail Hawk flew over the horizon. Not a bad setup. They have outdoor seating with shade options, which was perfect for our visit with our two dogs (they allow dogs on patios outside). Watch out for dust devils though - one blew RIGHT over us while sitting on the lawn. Our umbrella and tables around us went flying, but luckily no one was hurt. They only had two people working for a busy Sunday, so the service was slow. It was evident they were trying their best though. I really enjoyed the wine - I tasted the Rose + their standard reds. The rose was pretty sweet but I liked it. The cab ended up being my favorite. The syrah was notably smokey. We ordered the beet salad which was delicious! Also a flatbread without nuts (they accidentally made it the first time with nuts and had it take it back), but found several nuts on it so I didn't end up eating it given that I have a severe nut allergy. I heard it was good. ha! We would definitely come back here - though hoping I can make it on a non-busy day, as they aren't set up to handle that well. We stopped here after Apple Annie's and had such a lovely experience. First the space is so beautiful. You've got views of the vineyards and mountains. Second, the wine flights we sampled were delicious. It's marked as not good for kids but depending on the age and preparation, you can make it work. We had a relaxing experience with our 2 and 4 year old. We visited around 10:15 and were the first to arrive. There's a grassy lawn for picnics or for space for kids to play. They also have a high chair. I recommend packing snacks and bringing a juice if you bring your kids. They do have sparking water and soda for purchase too. They have a high chair but there are no changing tables in the bathroom. Service was great! We found a spot outside and the server brought our flights to us and came out regularly to see how we are doing. read more

A friend of mine was visiting from out of town, so we decided to go to Coronado Vineyards after exploring and apple picking at Apple Annie's. It was the perfect end to the day! We walked in and made our way to the wine bar where we were greeted and handed menus along with an explanation of the wine options. They had wine slushees and wine popsicles! We both ordered the wine flight, which brings a taste of 5 wines. This winery does have more reds and red blends than they do whites or rosés. We also ordered the charcuterie board which was HUGE! Wonderful atmosphere, plenty of room to roam about the wine room, gift shop, and winery grounds. The gift shop has great gift options for both wine lovers and non-wine lovers! We stumbled upon Coronado Vineyards and I'm so glad we did - I found many wines I liked and the food was delicious! Beautiful property and grounds in Wilcox AZ. The girls working were very friendly and knew a lot about the wine grown there. We don't care for sweet wine so we tried all of the dryer ones. I honestly loved all of them and especially liked the Sangiovese red ( definitely a must try) We were hungry and they had a pretty nice food selection of tapas and items that pair nicely with wine. I had the beet salad and it was very good. My hubby had the bbq flatbread. Food was fresh and tasted like it was made with fresh and local ingredients. I would highly recommend this winery! Came here Thursday 12/26/19 on a whim as we are driving across country from Sonoma County in California. The pourer was super nice, my husband and I did two red tastings for $10 each and got the pistachio crusted chicken skewers. We bought 2 bottles of wine. This vineyard was so beautiful, it was the highlight of our weekend in Wilcox. The charcuterie board was excellent with a lot of variety and a great price for the size of it! This place has great wine, great food and great views. There are a couple different indoor seating areas that are all cute and cozy. They also have a couple options for outdoor seating. There is a cute patio and other tables spread out in the grass and of course that adorable gazebo! We tried all 7 of the wines, bought a few bottles to enjoy there and a few to take home. All of their food is incredible! The charcuterie board was delicious and a great size! We also had the spinach and artichoke dip which was fabulous and the jalapeño bacon wrapped shrimp and pistachio crusted chicken skewers were also incredible! This was our first stop for our first time visiting any Wilcox wineries. We had a very good experience with our server Andreas, who has worked there for a few years. Such an elegant and welcoming environment. Lots of room for groups, but it was just me and my husband on a Thursday morning pretty early in the day. We had wine tastings and the chicken skewers which are drizzled with a very delicious sauce and crushed pistachios. We tried a range of wines and liked a couple of them. You can tell there is no love from the current owners. The owner I spoke to, Roxanne, was cold and did not greet anyone with a smile. My daughter and I went to Will ox for a girls weekend. We had a delightful time at most wineries, but not this one. We headed to Coronado at 5:00 and called ahead to order tapas since they were highly recommended by others. The girl on the phone reminded us that they close at 6:00. Thinking that 45-50 minutes should be sufficient to taste wine and eat taps we didn't see an issue. We arrived abs ordered our tasting flight and the girl let us know again that they close at 6:00. Yeah...we know. Shortly after another girl slid our quail wrapped in bacon to us a threw sown a couple of plates. Again reminded us that they close at 6:00. The wine flight had one of the wines served in a plastic wine glass and the remaining 4 were in plastic portion cups that condiments are typically served in. No information given about the wines at all. The girl came and asked if we still wanted the charcuterie board. I said yes, and again she reminded me that they close at 6:00. It arrived shortly after and the girl asked if we wanted a to go box. Mind you it is only 5:30. We did finish the quail which were mediocre and some of the charcuterie board which we did ask for a to go box at 5:45 because of our repeated reminders of closing time. Overall it was not a pleasant experience. We bought 1-2 bottles of wine at all the other wineries visited. We bought no bottles here. We will not be back her in Willcox or their tasting room In Cottonwood. What a disappointment. read more

Best stop on the Willcox wine trail! A really nice facility that is a great way to spend the afternoon. This was the last stop on my tasting of the day. I saved it for last so I could have tapas with my wine!! :) The tapas were great! The jalapeño infused bacon for the wrapped dates is perfection!! The tastings are 6 for $7 AND you get to keep the glass! Unlike my previous spot which charged $10 and then sneakily charged another $4 for the glass!
