A single-story winery building constructed with wood siding and a metal roof, situated behind a fenced area with a pathway leading to the entrance. The scene includes trees and shrubs, with a sign advertising local wine tasting and an open sign visible in the window. The sky is overcast, and the setting appears to be in a rural or semi-rural area.

Wine tasting $20+ dollars. Bought a "50%off" bottle of wine (on "sale" it was 33 plus tax $37.00 for bottle of wine. ) Total came out to $57.00 (no you don't get a free tasting when you buy a bottle!) They get a 5 stars on staff friendliness and decor. They get less than 1star on flavor. It lacks depth and complexity. It's watery and flat and grossly overpriced. The laughable high prices make it hard to take their wine seriously. If you don't know how to value your wine; you don't know wine.

Steel artwork always makes me smile. My father was a welder and would have loved this a cent wall.

Some fun wines to taste!! Natalie Was knowledgeable, outgoing and all around fun. I will be back!! If in Wilcox give this place a stop. You won't be let down unless your palettes different than mine. Cheers

a hand holding a wine glass - A person with pink nail polish and a gold ring on their finger holds a glass of red wine. The background features the Aridus Wine Company logo on a concrete wall, with bottles and a bag on a wooden shelf. The setting appears to be a wine tasting room.

I loved how this tasting room felt when I walked in. They are so friendly and knowledgeable about their wines and made the whole experience so easy. We were able to try five wines and the reds were definitely my favorite. . I was wanting a wine glass to bring home, and the woman working was so kind to go in the back and find one for me. This will definitely be a location I request next time I head to Willcox.

Tasting "2016 Viognier" - A wine glass containing white wine is placed on a black table, with the glass featuring the Aridus Wine Company logo. Next to the glass is a printed tasting menu from Aridus, displaying various wine tasting options and prices. The background includes a wooden cabinet with drawers and a few objects on top, indicating an indoor setting at the winery's tasting room.

Very chill tasting experience. Angelica is very knowledgeable when it come to explaining the wines. She was a pleasure to speak to especially being this was my fist wine tasting experience. She's also from Willcox so she also assisted us with finding lunch after the tasting. We will for sure be back soon. I enjoyed the overall experience!!! We tried the mixed tasting which was nice to try.

2016 BS Fumé Blanc- Lime, mango, pineapple, coconut - Two wine glasses filled with red wine are positioned on a dark table, with a wine menu from Aridus Wine Company nearby. A bunch of grapes and a decorative leaf are also on the table. The background features light-colored wooden cabinets with black handles, indicating an indoor tasting room environment.

The wine selection was plenty to choose from. Angelica was very knowledgeable about the wines, and wines process. The ambiance was very relaxing and enjoyable. We had the #2 Mixed Tastings. It was delicious. They also have personal charcuterie boards. Definitely worth it.

Inside the bar - The photo depicts the interior of Aridus Wine Company, with a wooden ceiling, a stone fireplace with a skull mounted above, and leather armchairs arranged around a small wooden table. There are also high-top tables made from wine barrels with glass tabletops, and a metal stool nearby. The space has a rustic, cozy ambiance suitable for wine tasting and relaxation.

You guys have to come check this place out!! Natalie was an amazing host and she taught us sooo much about wine! We had an excellent experience. We learned about wine, the tasting was phenomenal & the venue was great! It was my sisters bday and she had so much fun! Thank you Natali for a great experience!

Several of the reds we tried. - Five wine bottles are lined up on a dark-colored counter, each with a different label and sealed with a cork. The background features a wooden wine rack with diamond-shaped compartments filled with bottles stored horizontally. The setting appears to be a wine tasting room or winery display area.

Angelica (not sure of spelling?) was our guide and did an amazing job (and we topped appropriately, as should others). She helped us choose a couple of red flights so that we got to try all 8 of the reds they had open for tasting and served up their white flight. We definitely took advantage of their Tuesday deal for 50% many of their bottles and could not believe we were buying a bottle for what a glass of wine of this quality would cost here in the US. The wine prices reminded us of Italy, where we thought we were buying a glass and actually got a bottle! And the quality of wine was comparable to any great wine we have had from Europe to CA's wine country, where we live part-time for work. There was only one other couple who came in while we were there, as we came right when they opened, and we all received excellent service. The place itself is comfortable and has a great ambiance for a wine tasting room. We would definitely go back and look forward to trying to be in town during the wine festival! Thank you!

Tasting Tempranillo and Chardonnay...among other delicious wines!

We are wine club members from Tucson and visit this location every few weeks. Angelica was there pouring last time, and she is always so friendly and knowledgable. Everyone who works there has always been friendly and welcoming and the wines are all so good. They are pet friendly too!

My husband & I enjoyed a glass of their dessert wine at Aridus. The staff was great & very nice decor. We had a beautiful evening sitting on the porch watching the sunset.

BACKGROUND One of…read moremy favorite qualities I love about my mom is how she always loves getting out and exploring. She's had the exploring bug ever since I can remember. Getting to go on those trips with her is one of the things I miss most about traveling so much. One trip I missed that she frequently spoke fondly about is wine tasting in Willcox, Arizona. WILCOX WINES: THE HISTORY The history of Arizona's wine industry actually began in pre-Prohibition days. Back then, Arizona had more grapes than California. From Prohibition to 1980's it was illegal to make wine in Arizona. In 1982, Arizona passed a series of laws that enabled and regulated the activities of a new class of liquor license, the Domestic Farm Winery. In 2005, a Supreme Court ruling made parts of Arizona's wine laws unconstitutional. In 2006, the passage of SB1276 brought Arizona's wine laws into compliance with the Supreme Court's ruling which caused a resurgence in the Arizona wine industry. There are currently approximately 80 wineries in Arizona, in three main regions: Sonoita, Elgin and Willcox/Verde Valley. Willcox is about one hour southeast of Tucson. There are wine festivals held twice each year: the third weekend in May and the third weekend in October. THE STORY I finally had the opportunity to go with my mom to the last Willcox Wine Tasting Festival. The main tent setup is downtown, in the historic railroad section. That area is also where many of the Arizona wineries have local store fronts, like Flying Leap, Aridus, and Carlson Creek. When you arrive, you can purchase tickets which allow you to sample any of the many selections from the participating wineries. My favorite find was the Viognier from Aridus. There is also live music and most of the local restaurants are open. My favorite was Rodney's, a tiny shop where you order at the shop window from Rodney, and he serves your food out back on their outdoor patio. CONCLUSION The Willcox Wine Tasting Festival is very charming and super fun! 5/5 RECOMMEND OF NOTE *The next Willcox Wine Tasting Festival is May 19-20, 2016. *For more information: http://www.willcoxwines.com

We arrived around 3:30 PM so the tasting room was still open and we were able to taste 5 one ounce pours for $12. We asked specifically for dry wines and were very happy with the different wines that we tasted. I highly recommend the 2021 Chardonnay, that is the one we ended up purchasing. My husband enjoyed the Sangiovese as well. We had a nice quiet evening here and definitely recommend the wines.

I made a promise to myself to one day visit the vineyard in Wilcox, AZ. When that day came I found myself in downtown Wilcox where they had a tasting room but was now closed. So with a little investigation I found that they moved the tasting room to the vineyard. Brand spanking new tasting room located in the Barrel Room. What a beautiful site located at 4200 feet and about 280 acres of vines. This is the place where the best wine juice comes from. The reds are bold and the whites are crisp and suttle. Quiet and relaxing, some tables outside to sip and take it all in. No food at this time only wine. I finally made it to Wilcox....breath taking and refreshing. Pallets are like noses, we all have one. To me Carlson Creek Wines are the best in Arizona. Come check it out!
