Lee's informed me that the entire engine had to be pulled out to access the area of the seal for replacement. Lee's let me know they do not preform that type of repair. Quality Auto Repair accepted the job, gave us a quote for repairs and scheduled us 2 weeks out. When our scheduled appointment time came, the owner laughed when we said we were there for a scheduled appointment to have the seal replaced. He said they would only be doing a diagnostic that day - no repair. We informed the owner that we have already had a diagnostic for the issue and just needed a seal replaced to stop the oil leak. The owner was very rude, laughing at us as he said again they didn't have time (even though we made an appointment for a repair over 2 weeks ago) and would only be able to preform a diagnostic (which we don't need, since we had already paid Lee's to figure out the issue). To be clear, after Lee's informed us they were unable to do the repairs, we were very clear when calling and making the appointment that we needed the engine removed and a seal replaced. This shop wasted my time and money (time off work, gas to drive there, etc.). Terrible company. Laughing at new customers is not professional. Refusing service after customer being clear about what is needed is not honest. Don't believe all the good reviews out there!

Everyone who works here is honest and customer-service oriented. You will never feel like you're being weaseled out of your hard-earned money here. If you need something, they'll tell you and if it's a repair that can wait, they'll be honest. There have been instances when i brought my car in on an emergency (ate a curb, ran over a rock) and the guys have been nice enough to put my car up and fix the issue for free! Not sure why Yelp states that it's a tire shop, it's a full service auto shop.

ATTENTION ALL-…read more *SILVER STAR MERCEDES BENZ REPAIR (Visalia, CA)* This company has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION, but you don't have to take my word for it. Give them and try and you won't be sorry. You can thank me later. First and foremost I want to give a "thank you and shot out" for a GREAT "first time" experience to the owner "Cosme Mejia" and his outstanding service writer "Brad". They are very experienced, informative, and expeditious if not instant with their responses. If you WANT the Mercedes Dealership quality of work and backing with the first rate and second to none customer service, this is the place for you. It has all the perks of a top tier automotive shop with decent pricing that won't break the bank for the type of overall service you'll be receiving both with personal interaction and anything vehicle related. I drive a 2014 Mercedes Benz GL63 AMG and I normally take my vehicle to the dealership for service and maintenance, but due to no availabilities for an appointment in a timely manner I looked elsewhere for the first time ever. I truly am glad that I came across this company and shop. I am more than enthused, extremely content, and very happy not only with my decision, but that I actually took the jump and gave this business an opportunity to prove my skepticism wrong and build a friendship with them that will last a lifetime. I look forward from now on out to pledge my loyalty and dedication to "Silver Star Mercedes Benz of Visalia" off of this one interaction. GREAT customer service and superb and flawless work is hard to come by nowadays. This is proof that first impressions are lasting impressions. A person may not remember your name or your face, but a person will always remember how you treated them. "Actions, NOT words prove worth!!!" I'm glad that Cosme and his team have the passion and love to do this type of work and it truly shows not only by what they say, but also backed with what they do. Customers to include myself can be a pain in the butt at times and the Silver Star Mercedes Benz Repair team's professionalism, patience, understanding, knowledge, and empathy is definitely a sight for sore eyes. I took it to the Dodge service center, paid $120 to have them diagnose the issue. I explained I was not experiencing any loss of power or surging. I was told I needed a fuel pump, parts and labor would be $1,000. I got Dave's name from a friend. He quickly diagnosed the problem after completing some research. It turns out this is a common problem with these Dodge pickups. There is no recall. However, there is a bypass/patch fix which has been created. The part, diagnosis, and labor cost just over $200, saving me $800. Thank you Dave.
