It's been a min since I was last here but I was a really big craft connoisseur then. This was how the flight of beers used to come in. They used to come in actual shot glasses. Maybe my review will help boost the rating. The beers are good quality. Their IPA's aren't too hoppy. The orange was my favorite. Smooth and light, a good beer for relaxing in Cali. We just missed happy hour on a weeknight, but the food was still a great value. We enjoyed the Mediterranean Pizza paired with the Cool Beans stout, the Jambalaya Pasta was very tasty, and the Nachos Borrachos were especially delicious. The space was cozy, and our server, Isaac was very friendly and welcoming. We also tried the Palm Sway IPA and Big Weekend--both solid, enjoyable beers. Would definitely come back. read more

Yes, we had seven people in our party and yes, they were fairly busy for a Wednesday night. All that considered, gave our server no excuse for being rude to one of our party and delivering everybody's food except for one in our party who had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for his. When we repeatedly ask what was going on the server stated maybe you should learn how to run a restaurant. Not the best showing. Overall, I normally give this place 4 to 5 stars. And I would probably do so in the future. The food is always good. The only catch is they're often times very busy and parking is hard to find other than this experience. Food: street tacos, bbq pizza, kids cheeseburger & ahi taco were all fairly good. Our waiter made a slight bit of an error whilst taking our order but it's only human to make mistakes. All went well, the food was great with the exception that the kitchen served my ahi tuna raw as opposed to rare in one taco which was definitely a surprise to bite into it and feel the gummy flesh texture. The other taco was bomb though so I wasn't upset as the kitchen wouldn't be able to tell if they seared it fast. I have a gluten allergy and told our waiter of such he ensured that what I ordered did not contain gluten. It didn't I went an entire day without any stomach issues. He was attentive and checked on our table often. We tipped over 25% Ambiance: the place was crowded and overpacked so is a popular spot. The wait time is always less than they indicate. The design of being indoors but open ceiling gaps & shutters for windows is nice. It was not nice to drink from a cup and see hard water residue that you could wipe off with your finger caked onto the inside of the cup where the liquid you drink is touching. A white vinegar rag should be kept with whoever is in charge of dishes because that was nasty. 5 out of 6 cups on the table were like that. Overall I would recommend this place just be certain you inspect your utensils/ drink ware. read more

Cool vibe location with indoor and outdoor seating. Limited bar seating but some patrons stand and watch the sports on the numerous large screen TV's. Go at happy hour beer/wines are discounted and pub specials are 25% off. I had the pub special of fish & chips. Lots of flavor and plenty of food. On this visit the hostess was fantastic engaging and very accommodating. My server didn't rush me to eat in order to turnover the table. We've been coming to Coronado Brewing Co, Coronado Pub, for years - it's had consistently good food and service. We particularly like the location and the somewhat open-air enclosed patio. And I'm sure we'll be coming back for years to come. We had our usual Greek Salad. It's been our standard - always crisp and fresh. This year I tried their California Turkey Burger. It had all the trappings of a "real" burger, and they tasted as expected. As to the grilled turkey burger - well ............. It was a turkey burger. The bite and chew was okay, it had some grill flavor but was very mild. The garlic aioli helped, but it was also mildly flavored. It seemed healthy - which is what I was seeking (I was balancing the over-indulgence of other meals). The Cole slaw was good. The dressing was mayo based and also was mildly flavored. The Cod Tacos were nice mix of crunch, between the fried cod and the cabbage, and the soft fish and tortilla shell. Here the salsa added the traditional Mexican flavor. The side of garlic fries was fairly good. There was a lot of powered cheese and an okay amount of garlic (I may be the wrong person to judge the amount of garlic to use since my personal use tends to burn other people's palates). read more

Had a good time here, it was actually my second time. We sat outside, they only have 4 outdoor tables, streetside - very surprising. We came for the beer, I think a lot of people treat it as a restaurant which it basically acts as as well. Large selection of beers, including ciders, seltzer and NAs. They even had a Mexican dark lager, nice easy drinker. The boat beer was good, so was the pog cider. I'll take anything POG, they had Juneshine too. Server was good. We shared the Spanglish fries, they don't look like much but were pretty tasty and went well with the beer. The other dishes looked good too, intrigued to try their fish and chips (though those are fries not chips!). Street parking was easy, Coronado Island is soo nice and quaint. read more

Had a great lunch here! I got the ahi poke as an entree and it came with plenty of chips! My hubby got the Mahi mahi fish tacos and said they were solid. Stopped in here after spending the morning in Coronado. Nice little setup with a pretty extensive seating area. The bar seating itself seemed a bit cramped and small, however this in part was due to it being busy. Order a couple CBC crafts that were good. Im a light and sour fan. Prefered the Shandy over the wit. Also had the Pepperoni Flatbread. Good size and decent taste. A typical pub flatbread/pizza, which is not a bad thing. The bartender was friendly and on top of it. This is always our go to spot when we go to Coronado Island. This time was no different. Great food and great beers! I loved all the fruity blends including the mango. But what really won me on this visit was their new seltzers. They are AMAZING!!! So light, tangy and refreshing. 100 calories, 5% alcohol and gluten free. This place is in a great location. Steps from the beach and local boutiques. Parking is hit or miss so be prepared. There is a small lot in the back and street parking within the neighborhoods. It was relatively busy when we arrived. They have a bar area and plenty of tables for seating. We were seated promptly. They were out of a majority of the beers we were interested in trying but we made it work. We ordered the coconut calamari, it was average. Not very crispy or flavorful. We ordered a handful of entrees, the fish n chips was decent size but overloaded with fries and very little fish. The Cajun shrimp tacos were very flavorful would highly recommend. My order unfortunately had hair inside. The waiter quickly got the issue resolved and a fresh plate brought out in minutes. The Serrano bacon burger came highly recommended from friends. So we do our annual Holiday Ride to see the tree at the Hotel Del and finish off with lunch at Coronado Brewing Company. Yesterday there were pushing 20 of us so the sat is in a corner area of 4 table near a fire. Unfortunately the windows were open which made it slightly chilly so we closed the blinds to keep the cold air out. The food was good although there was an error, but our waiter Edgar fixed it easily by brings ng us the cole slaw which was omitted. The food was good. I usually get the brew house salad and this time split a meat eaters flatbread with my husband. Seemed like it was a bit sloppily made with more meat on one side, but as always it tasted good and the beer was good as it always is. Enjoyed a Palm Sway IPA. read more
