Clean no objectional odors. The staff are caring, pleasant, always friendly. I highly recommend this facility.

I'm currently a patient here and I like it. The staff does a really good job at making sure all my needs are met. The nurses are all very friendly and if I ask them for help or assistance they help me. The activities department is great at keeping the spirits up of the patients. Wound care is excellent and my dressings get changed everyday. My favorite department is the rehabilitation department. It is excellent here and they work with me everyday to help me get stronger and help me with my mobility. My only complaint is that physical therapy isn't longer each day because it's cut short because there are a lot of patients to get through. Overall, I would recommend this place for someone who still needs time to recover after a hospital stay. read more

A friend was admitted to this facility for hospice care. I visited him the day after admission. I found him laying flat in a bed with no pillow. He had a blanket rolled up under his head. He had no water available (no pitcher or cup in sight). The controller for his bed was hanging from the handle of his nightstand about 3 ft away. No nurse call button and no TV in his room, there were just some cables hanging out of the wall. It was lunch time and when his tray was delivered, there was no overbed table to put it on. He said he had received breakfast earlier and when asked how he ate it with no table, he replied that they placed it next to him on the bed and he ate it while laying flat. I addressed as many of these issues as possible immediately including requesting a pillow, bringing him bottled water myself and re-routing the controller for his bed so he could reach it. Before leaving, I spoke to the Executive Director and a Nurse. I told them what I found when I arrived. It was a pleasant conversation with no raised voices or animosity from either side. They appeared to be concerned and gave the expected responses such as stating they would look into these issues. My daughter and I left to get his phone charger and bring it back to him. Within 10 min of leaving I received a call from Cambridge Hospice (they are the ones that arranged his placement at this facility). I was asked to not visit my friend again. I returned to the facility and found a "do not disturb, meeting in progress" sign on the door of the Executive Director. I didn't bother to knock but instead spoke to the receptionist. Within seconds, I found myself surrounded by FIVE staff members!! I was told to leave and that since I was not on my friends "approved" list of visitors I could not visit. They said that my friend needed to state that is was fine for me to visit and that they attempted to ask him but he was non-responsive and unable to communicate. Just 30 min prior when my daughter and I were visiting, we talked to him as he devoured a taco we brought, butterscotch pudding and a carton of milk. He was very alert and able converse but apparently something happened to where he was "non-responsive" within a 30 minute timeframe!! I posted my experience and observations on a community FB page and while every single one of the over 300 responses were people offering help or advise, there was one stand out comment which I have attached below. I have verified that this person is an employee at Corona Post Acute Care. Her remarks make it very clear to me why there is such a lack of basic care. I was able to contact someone that was able to visit my friend the following day to make sure he was ok. He was in slightly better shape (at least he had water and a pillow) but their lack of providing even basic human needs is appalling! DO NOT place a loved one in the care of these people!! read more

Staff is very friendly knowledgeable and curtiouse when attending to my needs based off my individual needs. It's a very clean facility. Food is always good with the freedom of alternative meals which I like and good on portion. Im allowed to have family visits outside facility also allows us do as we please and I really appreciate all that they have done for me.They also have a great activities department. read more

Overall I researched many facilities for placement for my mom. And honestly a bit pessimistic when it came to looking at this facility due to the reviews,and honestly I was very surprised.The staff was amazingly nice and Stephanie in admissions was great with helping me out and giving me a tour, she showed me the cute ice cream parlor, dining room beauty salon and the physical therapy rooms which to my surprise I didn't even know they had, and the facilitywas really clean. This was the worst place ever!! My 85 yr old mother w/ a dislocated shoulder & some bowel issues was transferred here after she was at Corona Regional hospital. My mom complained that they left her for 5hrs without coming and changing her diaper which had diarrhea. She repeatedly called me, and i repeatedly called the facility to speak with anyone to help her. I called at least 6 times!!! While i was talking to my mom, she was pushing the nurse button, and i could hear the nurses even through the cell phone chatting away!! They ignored my 85 yr old mother. I then proceeded to call the Corona Police Dept!! I didnt know what else to do!! And low and behold, they call the facility and the facility answered!! And then they answered my call after that!! I pulled my mom out of there the next day!! When i spoke to the director & nurses, they stated they would investigate this. So i am hoping that they do. For the sake of their patients!!! Then they mentioned the fact that my mom has dementia!! Like she made all this up!!! She may have dementia, but she knows the difference between right and wrong!! And this was unacceptable period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont let your loved ones come here. My mom came out in worse condition then when she went in. read more

I wish I could give a 0 star for this facility! My grandma has stayed here for the past 3 years and it has been okay at first. Management changed and within the pandemic the staff has been completely inattentive and rude and almost killed my grandma! We were told my grandma tested positive for covid in august 2020 although she had absolutely NO symptoms. Her roommate had tested positive so they transferred both of them into an isolation unit. My grandma is very smart and was calling us to tell us that they have blasted the heater in the isolation room and closed all the doors in the middle of the summer heat it was 105 degrees outside!! They deprived her of water I had to call 10 times before someone could give her water! Last night we received a phone call that said my grandma would be transferred into isolation again for "coming into contact with someone who has tested positive for covid" even though my grandmas covid test came out NEGATIVE and she has absolutely NO symptoms again. They're trying to do the same thing to her! This facility is a nightmare and needs to be shut down or change management for such awful treatment and trying to kill my grandma!!! read more

My mother stayed at Corona Acute for 7 months.. she was actually happy there. Her caregivers and nurses were great... until Covid! My mother was exposed to covid, they gave her a test, got a positive result 10 days later and she was not sick! I felt with all the faulty testing, it was a false positive! My mother had a lot of underline issues. The woman who exposed her was brought back to the facility, still sick with covid to die! They put her in the same room as my mother.. my mom asked them why they would do that and they told her, what does it matter, you have it. The woman died that night.. I called and complained and told them not to buddy up non sick patience. The treatment by the caregivers was horrible, they deprived her of water, left her in a hot room, etc! They were very rude! My mother had to test negative twice to get out the hell she was in and she did! Within a few days, she started having symptoms and was dead 1 week later! No one there even noticed she was getting sick! They found her on the floor in her room and finally took her to the hospital. She died 36 hours later! I sadly was not able to go in due to the lock down but spoke to my mom by phone regularly.. By bringing this woman back to the facility and putting her in my moms room, they murdered her! I never received a phone call from these chicken shits after she passed! Shitty place and don't give a rats ass about the elderly! read more
