They didn't give me my pain meds for almost 24 hrs, it was so ridiculous the excuses they had!! They are under staff, the nurse would take up to 3hrs to respond to my call, so I left home even though I needed care. All they did was pissed me off n neglect me so I went home. I had to go for a 2nd time n didn't even last 24hrs bc once again they didn't give me my meds, it was pure negligence on their part!!! If u love someone please do not take them to this facility!!! It smells so bad n they are so loud too, leaving the door open all the time!! Never again will I ever enter this facility!!!

My relative has been here for over four years, and Mary has spent a lot of time helping my relative (and me) getting SSI and other paperwork sorted out, along with assisting us with various other matters. She is overseeing (approximately) 125 residents, I think she is doing an awesome job. She takes the time to talk to my relative and make sure he is matched with the right roommate, and meal companion which is very important. Pilar, who used to work in the assisted living facility, was also great. She was very proactive in transferring his medications from another facility and pharmacies. Even though she moved to a different position within the facility, she always takes the time to chat with my family member. My relative enjoys living there, participates in the activities, and enjoys hanging out with the new friends he has made. I also want to say that the staff works hard to maintain a great place for all residents to live

The staff does a great job caring for the residents, with Pilar and Mary standing out in particular. Mary can be direct, but she knows her job thoroughly, runs a tight ship, and gets things done. Pilar has also provided dedicated, reliable care throughout his time here. Judging the character or competence of the staff based on appearance is completely unfair. Having tattoos or body art doesn't make anyone less capable of providing quality care. What matters is the work they do, and this team consistently shows up for the residents. The facility is consistently cleaned and well-kept. In nearly three years of regular visits, I have never seen bugs or pests in his room or any of the common areas. The staff works hard to maintain a good environment, and it shows.

They were patient with how meticulous I was with my husband's care and they were eager to please. Every staff member knows my dad by name (as well as my mom and me!) and cares for him with such great respect and kindness. There are so many activities in a range of abilities, so every day there are things to do to engage with people. My dad says his favorite thing is the food! He has gone from having just a donut for breakfast to having scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, and juice--every day! The food choices are always amazing, and in one month, there has never been a day he has been disappointed with the options. Plus, he has met new friends he sits with at meals. In the hall one day, I met a woman and her dad who were taking a tour. She said they were looking for a place with "food and friends." THIS is the place! I cannot recommend Estancia del Sol enough!

It truly feels like a supportive and engaging environment rather than just a facility. Their care was so bad and unresponsive that I had my husband take me home for care the next morning. I went out of my way not to cause problems with their attendants, but that didn't change anything.
