The set Menu was awesome and definitely saved money. The two I was with tried to order their steak separately and ended up spending more for less food. The dessert was incredible too.

We didn't have a reservation but the hostess went out of her way to get us a table anyway. We had the duck confit as an appetizer and I had the lamb shank for the main course. Both were excellent. My boyfriend had the burger. The burger was huge and he enjoyed it. Service was also great. Gareth was our waiter. He even took the time to tell us about some points of interest in Galway since we are tourists. Great spot to eat but you may need reservations

Fantastic meal. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Our server was a new trainee. She and the trainer were attentive and really added to the positive experience. My steak was cooked perfectly rand the bone marrow jus sauce added a luxurious richness.

After traveling by air for 14hours we made a random decision for our 1st meal in Ireland and we were thrilled with the choice! From the greeting at the door, the waitress, bartender & manager we had great service & amazing food. Every recommendation we were given paid off on the menu! Having two teenage sons to please isn't easy but we all walked away full & pleased with our experience.

Some of the best mussels I've ever had.

Duck confit. So crispy on the outside and pull apart tender on the inside. It's ridiculous. I want it right now and it's 7 am. The mussels are to die for. Literally best mussels I have had. I could drink the garlicky broth through a straw. Seriously it's that damn good. The dips with bread are decent (garlic butter = yum) but it you're gonna go to corner stone opt for another one of their appetizers. They have a massive cocktail list--each about 9 euro. The ambiance is dressy and cozy. Definitely a great date night spot. The service was phenomenal and the servers really care that you had a great experience. When in limerick you gotta go!

    Mussels. Delicious & recommended!

Service was absolutely stellar & food just as good. Big group and everyone ordered differently and was incredibly happy. Fresh, quality, precise & filling. Great pricing. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere and yummy food. I was in Ireland on business and this was a nice simple way to end a great (but hectic) trip.

This was my FAVORITE meal in Galway!…read more It was my first time in Ireland - was visiting for business trip and we stayed in Galway for a few days and got to try several restaurants in the area. This was my favorite restaurant because of the AMAZING seafood. The raw oysters were super fresh and it was fun getting to see the manager show us how to shuck oysters (he used to compete in oyster shucking contest and was ranked pretty high!). The steamed mussels and crab claws were also delicious. Ending the meal with cheesecake was great! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you are visiting a friend's home for a nice meal. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you are in the area and are looking for amazing seafood!

People after us were directed to the bar for open seating. The seafood chowder was rich and filling. Mixed oyster plate came with three Gigas and three natives (5 years to grow) but we couldn't agree on which was the best. Moran's featured half a dozen different cold platters and we ordered the smoked salmon which consisted of plate sized slices topped with a salad and a scoop of crab. The Marie rose dressing was delicious and made this salad one of our favorites of this trip. Lastly their Irish soda bread was the best we've eaten and wished we could've gotten a loaf to take with us. The good service, great food and eclectic ambiance made for a nice Easter Sunday meal.

But the staff gracious sat us at our reserved table and handed us a few hand towels to notionally dry ourselves. We ordered the hake with mussels, scallops and the trio of crème brûlée. We ordered the crab dip (very small portion, and it tasted like imitation crab meat), the steak was overcooked with little flavor; the side of veggies tasted like they cooked them in butter and oil (no hint of salt). The drink was horrible and I'm not one to send things back, but I'm not sure how a lemon drop martini ends up tasting like watered down lemonade. The oysters were okay and they make a good home made mignonette, but there was no hot sauce or horseradish provided. Maybe it's an Irish thing, but room temperature oysters are off-putting. The service was terrible, but our waitress was likely working the bar as well. She definitely forgot about us for a solid 20 minutes after she took our plates and verified that we didn't want anything else. I do not recommend this place. Pros: The ambiance was beautiful and it's quiet enough to have a conversation. I gave 1 star for the aesthetic.
