So, I've been visiting these stores for, like....30 something years now. Which....actually means…read morethe last time I went to these outlet stores was before I was old enough to vote or pay income tax. Which means, from a child's perspective, it's just a bunch of stores. Now, as a bill paying adult, I can appreciate things like convenience, simplicity, fair prices and most important....expedited check out. I had decided early on not to review every single individual store in this place for two reasons. 1.) I did not GO to every store (I mean, why would I?) 2.) I don't feel like reviewing 40+ different stores. Now, MAYBE I'll get around to discussing one or two stores that stick out to me as time goes on. For now, all you need to know is that certain stores require you to wear a mask, but most do not. I think it depends on the size of the store and how many people are allowed inside. Restrooms are kinda scarce and spaced out in this outdoor mall. So, be prepared for that. There's also a fair number of places here that accept contactless payment. Good to see they've updated their POS systems. Look, there's nothing really significant about this series of outlet stores, aside from the fact that they're located in a pretty touristy spot. In fact, this entire strip has other outlet store complexes and food places with great potential. My recommendation would be to park somewhere in the center of the mall so that it evens out your walking distance. Not a whole lot else to say, really. Decent stores and a great place to get in some light cardio, I guess. Kittery Premium Outlet stores are worth 4 back to school shopping trips out of 5.

I've always appreciated the idea of the Kittery Outlets, but the actual shopping experience has…read morebecome increasingly inconvenient. One of the biggest frustrations is the layout: instead of being able to stroll from store to store, you constantly have to get in and out of your car and drive from one shopping center to another. It really takes away from the enjoyment of outlet shopping and makes the whole day feel more like running errands than browsing. Another downside is the taxes. Whatever savings you think you're getting from outlet pricing quickly shrink once you see what you're paying in tax. It feels like a big chunk of the "discount" disappears at the register, which defeats the purpose of going to an outlet in the first place. Lastly, the number of vacant stores is hard to ignore. Whole sections look empty, and it gives the area a run-down feel. It also limits your options and makes the trip less worthwhile if the stores you came for simply aren't there anymore. Overall, the Kittery Outlets had potential, but the inconvenient layout, high taxes, and increasing number of vacant storefronts makes the experience far less appealing than it used to be.

To be frank, the prices aren't any better than what you could find in the sale section of the nike website. I would skip this store and just buy online.

During my most recent visit, one employee claimed my discount "wasn't showing up," even though I had already checked Nike.com before driving there specifically to confirm it was active. I also watched her click past the discount on the screen before suddenly deciding it "wasn't there." When I called it out, she denied it and immediately went to get a manager. Of course, the manager was able to apply the discount almost instantly. Then came the passive-aggressive comments implying it "might be because you have more than one account," despite the fact that I had already contacted Nike support beforehand and was clearly told it was not against policy. The entire interaction felt less like customer service and more like being interrogated for using a completely legitimate promotion. What's really baffling is the mentality behind it. Most businesses appreciate repeat customers spending large amounts of money in their store. Here, it felt like certain employees were actively annoyed that someone was successfully using Nike discounts exactly the way they were intended to be used. If employees are going to act personally bothered every time a customer gets a good deal, maybe Nike should stop advertising promotions altogether. Otherwise, don't make paying customers feel like criminals for using them.

Perhaps, only if you're seeking the smallest game on a very short trip. Is there really such a thing ever as having TOO much? Perhaps, there is no such a thing if you're a "responsible" prepper or an avid enthusiast seeking to advance yourself to handle just about ANY situation thrown your way - including the apocalypse. I definitely do not believe there is such a thing as having too much. And I can bet on it that most of the people here today at Kittery Trading Post feel the same way. Yes, the prices are mostly MSRP and sometimes higher. Yes, you can most likely (99% of the time) get a better deal elsewhere (especially online). But where can you actually have the opportunity to TOUCH everything or be likely seduced to WANT more because you weren't aware that such an item even existed? Here, at KTP, that is exactly what happens. You think you have a particular item in mind? How about being thrown more options that most other stores even dream of carrying? Thought you liked something online? How about holding that item in person and deciding if it is the right fit for just a fraction more of the price (and avoid the need to make returns for the most part?) How about being swayed into another product because you "apparently" didn't research it enough to realize there are even BETTER options that fit your exact needs (or because it's more expensive and you can justify it in person, lol)? Kittery Trading Post is definitely one of my ultimate retail spots as an outdoor enthusiast and an avid prepper (for whatever possible events will ever unfold in my fantasies). And every time I'm here, I always leave with at least one new toy for the personal arsenal. Definitely love this place even if it's not exactly the best bang for the buck.

We were greeted upon walking in and they let us know everything in store was 50% off. In general I think Under Armour makes quality stuff that typically will last awhile. My wife definitely took advantage of the deal they were running and snagged 4 things for under $70 and one of them was suppose to be $60 by itself. We both will be keeping this place in mind for athletic wear needs in the future. Likely won't have the 50% off that often but if we are in the area we will check their offerings again. The only real negative I noticed was when we were waiting in the check out line, one particular staff member. The two cashiers were friendly and appeared to be working hard, but a customer checking out must have paid with a large bill and they did not have the correct bills for change in the drawer. Then I suspect a manager came over to assist and needed to go out back to grab the cash. Despite the ever growing line waiting to check out, the manager had almost no rush and very much took their time. Just a little surprised by this. Overall we will return and would visit this spot over other Under Armour locations.
