Rubricx was the most expensive bid, but I got the distinct impression that the others would rush the job and were cutting corners, especially with regards to foundation preparation. Last thing I want is to spend money and find myself with problems a few years down the line. Joseph was very responsive and took the time to discuss all my concerns with me. I wasn't disappointed with my decision. The crew was great and did first rate work, responsive to my idea about installing a catch basin to be able to capture debris as part of the drainage system modifications, and generally went above and beyond. The driveway turned out beautifully. As I said, perhaps a bit more expensive, but if you are someone who cares about quality and value for your money, I highly recommend.

The work was poorly done, and despite two attempts to fix it, the issues were never resolved. After that, Fabio stopped responding and never returned. Very unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend this company. He is a thief!! Buyer Beware Fabio of FC Masonry claimed to be licensed, but I was unable to verify any valid license. I had a unique job to replace a pool deck for a home I purchased. For some reason, previous owners…read moreinstalled concrete tiles on top of the original Kool Deck (it was water proof and looked nice, but way too slippery and dangerous for humans and pets when wet). I asked two companies to see what my options were. One company said they would get back to me, and did not. The other was Kevin, who personally came out to see the job and straight up told me the only option was to rip up the tiles due to nothing being able to bond to the tile (and also added he had never seen this surface put on a pool in his 30 years of working on pool decks). Kevin was very prompt, up front about what costs would be and gave me a great price on also adding a rail to the project. With each phase of the project, we were able to communicate what was found under the tile, answered my questions about potential add ons (new drains), costs, how it would potentially affect other aspects of the area (screened in cage) and time it would take to do so. He also took to the time to give me potential pricing on other concrete issues I have on the property. There is a reason his website states his company is "affordable" and "no job is too big, or too small." Very happy with the finished product and now feel comfortable with having guests enjoy the pool. I highly recommend Kevin and his crew for any work needed in regards to pools decks and concrete projects.
